Last night we had a couple extra large pepperoni pizzas delivered to us. I was very pleasantly surprised with the amount of meat they put on. Most other pizza places charge extra for this much meat. The crust was light and not doughy. Even with the amount of meat and cheese on the pizza it was NOT greasy. The sizes and cost are reasonable. Will definitely be ordering here again. read more

Ordered the mozzarella sticks and they were very very uncooked and still tasted like they were out of the bag. It's very disappointing, I mean pay good money why not have them done with some quality. The pizza is decent but that comes with a price $$$$$. I just wish more effort went into making everything great quality so I hope they re-examine how they just push out all items. When you pay $60 for dinner you expect for it to be a $60 quality. I ordered a pizza on line and in the comment section I asked if they would only put mushrooms on half the pizza. When the pizza arrived mushrooms were on the whole pizza. I spoke with the manager and she explained in the section where I left that comment is for the drivers, not the kitchen. I've never had Mountain Mikes before tonight. When I'm in Madera, it's Pacifica all the way. Usually I just order Me N Eds here because it's close to my house. But holy cow. The crust was crunchy, it wasn't doughy in the middle, the pepperoni was crispy and delicious. It is on the upper end price of pizza but it's flavor and texture is amazing. Two thumbs up. I am disgusted with this place and won't be returning! We ordered pizza from Here and as I was eating it I noticed a small pinky nail-sized black hair on my slice. I threw it away and grabbed another. Okay, so an eyelash got into my food, whatever. Next slice has a 2 inch white/blonde hair in it! Now I'm grossed out so I call and I speak with the manager, NAMED BENU (pronounced like bean-new) who tells me that "it is impossible to have an eyelash AND a hair in the same pizza". No, it's not impossible! And why on earth would some one make that up?! She asked for photos, which obviously I didn't have because I threw both slices in the trash and called the restaurant. After some back and forth she said she would send me out a new pizza but wanted to make sure more than half was left. Well... my family was eating dinner so I took the slices from their plates to compile enough pizza to "send" back. I will never order from this place again!!! The SAME manager gave my husband a hard time a few months ago about making a pizza as a chicken club and leaving the bacon off half of it, but we chalked it up to "she was probably new, maybe she had a bad day, etc., etc." Manager BENU has zero accountability, and was extremely aggressive during our conversation. Went here for the 1st time yesterday. Have to say it was really good. We only tried pizza with the red sauce. I am picky about the red sauce cause I don't like it to sweet but their's was excellent. Lots of cheese and toppings. A lil pricey but well worth it. Very nice & clean on the inside also. They even have a small room for private parties. I recommend this place even if you just try a pepperoni pizza. Can't wait to go back and try some of the appetizers. Oh and the beer we ordered was nice and cold. We had a coupon for a large one topping pizza for $14.99 so we thought why not? I have to say we were pleasantly surprised. The pepperoni was crispy and delicious! We order 1-2 times a month. On more than one occasion I have phoned in my order and have been given a 15-20 minute time frame to pick up my pizza. It is ALWAYS ready when I walk through the door. (Unlike the one across the street) The staff always greets us with a smile and a warm welcome. The only thing we do not like is the taste of their ranch dressing. It's a bit on the sour side. Good luck. Your pizza is way over priced and underwhelming. More than pizza is 5 min away and was far better quality far less cost wise. There is nothing special about Mountain Mikes that demands the price they are asking...... no joke, little ceases 5$ pepperoni is a better value. I don't usually complain about price unless it's completely out of line for the value. And Mountian Mikes is disproportionately bad. Only thing that deserves a positive mention is the online ordering system. Suggestion. Drop the price or create a better quality pizza ‍ read more
