Honestly, I've been back twice already and their subs are pretty bomb, and their ranch idk whether they make it or just buy it from someone else but it's freaking good. The service is good, so far I just see them make tons of pizza boxes but they just drop everything and tend to you so it's great. One bite... everyone knows the rules! This was my first time here and I love these little hole-in-the wall restaurants and Clovis has a ton of them. We decided to dine-in and order two pizzas, one kid friendly pie with cheese and pep and one supreme. The pizzas both had great flavor, but they could've sat in the oven just a bit longer to make sure the middle crust was a crispier. I loved all the fresh toppings on our supreme pizza. You could easily see these were hand chopped and prepared that day. We had a ton of pizza left over and this is definitely the kind of pizza that tastes even better the next day; cold right out of the fridge. My wife and I split a pitcher of beer and were able to take advantage of their happy hour prices. A happy hour pitcher is cheaper than just buying two 16oz beers. The service here is delightful and very speedy. Considering how busy they were, no one waited very long for their to go orders or to get their pizza delivered to their table. There's only a handful of tables inside with a few tables outside. Most people were picking up their orders to-go. There's only one tv here and it was off while we were here; so I don't know if this is the right place to come to snack on a slice and enjoy the game. We will definitely be back. I have eaten pizza here on one other occasion and I keep forgetting about this place. Tonight we ordered take out. Got a veggie pizza and combo. Great sauce, toppings and cheese. Ranch is some tasty stuff. I bought a bottle. Only negative for us was the crust was super floppy. It was cooked though. No raw dough. They give you the option of ordering it extra crispy. Next time I will do this. I stuck mine in the toaster oven and it resolved this issue. I'll order pizza from here again. Good stuff! read more

Their pizza is almost too heavy. I still have lots of pieces left in fridge from Sunday and it's Wednesday. Normally pizza disappears in my house. They used to have a good chicken salad years ago then the good chef left and the new ones couldn't make the chicken salad the same. They always seem rushed at the counter. Today, my family and I ordered four pizzas through DoorDash for a birthday party. When the delivery arrived, we realized the driver had only brought three of the four pizzas. I couldn't quite wrap my head around how this happened--especially since the complete order should have been on the receipt. But hey, mistakes happen. We tried calling the pizza place from multiple phones but couldn't get through--no busy signal, nothing. After several attempts and different methods, I finally managed to connect. I asked if our missing pizza was still at the store. Keep in mind, this meant a 30-minute drive, pulling me away from the party to go pick it up. When I got to the store, I was still baffled. How did both the DoorDash driver and the staff at the restaurant miss this? The pizza was sitting right there. I spoke with the manager, Joe, who seemed less than thrilled about the situation. There was little accountability from either side. I asked how something like this could happen, why the phones weren't working, and why no one called us--our phone number was right there on the receipt. If you've ever been to this store, you'd understand my confusion. It's not the kind of setup where a forgotten pizza could easily go unnoticed. It didn't make sense why the driver wouldn't pick it up or why none of the staff flagged him down. Mind you, this pizza is expensive. We ordered over $100 worth. In the end, Joe made it right. Both he and the employee eventually took responsibility for the mix-up. That matters to me. It's not about the money--it's about respecting my time and upholding the principle. The dude and I came to More Than Pizza on a Saturday on February 8th 2020 due to Saturday being my cheat day on my healthy lifestyle change. When we walked in you have to go all the way to the other side of the restaurant to the ordering counter. We were greeted by staff and my dude and I beat the rush because when we ordered a bloat load of people came in after us. We managed to get a table by the entrance which was a very comfortable booth. We decided to get half veggie pizza and half meat lovers as I don't like meat on my pizza but the dude does. They gave us our ticket number and was seated. Everything is SELF served. You need to get your own drinks, plates and utensils. The tables already have napkins and condiments like crushed red pepper and Parmesan cheese. Anywho it took forever for our pizza to come out to the table but it was worth the wait as the pizza was so crunchy and delicious. We got half veggie with bacon and half meat for the dude. We both enjoyed the pizza and more people were coming in picking up or dining in. I highly recommend this pizza place as every bite was so delicious and satisfied my taste buds. I was visiting a friend at their new house and we decided to order pizza. None of us were super familiar with the area but More Than Pizza was nearby. I'd had it once, some years ago, and suggested we order there. It was Saturday evening and they were listed as temporarily closed on DoorDash, so I checked their website and found you can order online for pick-up (with payment via Square). It was around 6.30pm and it said the order would be ready for pick-up at 8.05pm. Although it was a longer wait, their estimation was right on the money - my husband said they were packing up our order as he walked in the door. There's nothing worse than waiting a long time to find your order still isn't ready, so props on their timing. We got a large combination, a small cheese pizza, pizza bread, and 14 hot wings. The total was around $60. Everything was hot and fresh. They cut the large pizza into squares which is a nice change of pace. Good doughy crust, quite heavy on sauce and lots of stringy cheese. It has a good cheese pull. It's not my personal favorite but it's solid and a thousand times better than Me n Eds. The wings were the surprise hit - they're not crispy but there was a good amount of meat and skin on there and they were juicy and well seasoned. Each item comes with one choice of side dip in a generous sized container (I think 4oz?), and you can add another for 75c. We got a couple of ranch, blue cheese with the wings, and marinara with the cheese bread. It's a little far from home for me but we'll likely order here again when we're in the area. read more

So i'm still on a quest to find good pizza here in Fresno/Clovis and still no luck. My parents had a craving for some pizza today and thanks again to Yelp it let me down again. I decided to try More than pizza located at Clovis today, because of the ratings 4/5 and yummy looking pics on Yelp. So for almost $40.00 for 2 pizza's a Med combination with pineapples and a XL pepperoni wasn't worth it. So here is my break down for my disappointment visit at More Than Pizza in Clovis. 2/5 Med size combination pizza for almost $20.00 the veggies here is very skimpy and not cheesy like some yelpers mentioned. Their crust is similar like BHOP (boston house of pizza) which i didnt care for at all. 1/5 XL pepperoni pizza for being a "special" for $16.00 this was very disappointing because it was over cooked and so dry and i'm not a fan of the crust. Service 3/5 it was ok nothing over the top. Im not sure if it was a off day or something but today pizza is no where Yelpers describe "cheesy" it's "cheesy" alright for not tasting good and somewhat overpriced. I'll stick to my $10 pepperoni pizza at Costco and even Pacifica Pizza on Olive gives way more veggies for their combo pizza. So again my quest continue to find good pizza and it's no where to be found here at More Than Pizza in Clovis CA. read more
