We were promptly seated on the patio, but after 15-20 minutes we left without ever being served. Not one staff member acknowledged us. We still had all our menus on the table, no water, and even had a highchair brought to our table after we asked our server to bring it to us when we were seated--so it was obvious we were there and had not been helped. What made it worse was that the tables around us were seated after us and received water, drinks, and even an appetizer from the same server, while we were completely ignored. When I spoke to the manager on the way out, instead taking ownership, her first response was an apology followed by, "The host must not have told the server." That may explain it, but it doesn't excuse it. The manager had a great opportunity to own the mistake and try to make things right. Instead, she offered an excuse. Very disappointing experience.

When they get your order right, they absolutely knock it out of the park. The pizza is delicious, the ingredients are good, and it's easy to remember why you keep coming back. The problem is consistency. Anything outside of a standard order--asking for the pizza to be double cut, cooked well done, or making other simple modifications--seems to be about a 50/50 chance of being done correctly. We've also had several orders over the years that simply weren't what we ordered. Mistakes happen, and that's understandable. But pizza isn't cheap anymore, and when you're spending that kind of money, you expect the order to be accurate. We'll probably continue to order from Marco's because when they get it right, it's excellent. I just wish the consistency matched the quality of the food. If they can tighten that up, this would easily be a five-star review.

Normally I love Mt Mikes, however tonight I had a terrible experience.. I ordered a sizzling bacon pizza 12 piece chicken wings and garlic sticks for $50. I sent my cousin to pick the food up, he comes home with the wrong pizza, no cheese sticks . I call and explain to them they might have mixed up someone else's order.. They said no that's what I ordered and they gave the cheese bread sticks to my cousin as well.. for 20 minutes they argued with me.. put me on hold talk to the girl who took the order, then the Mgr.. basically I'm a liar and my cousin is a bread thief! Finally they say to bring back the wrong pizza.. my cousin takes it back and they haven't started the pizza because theey are reviewing security footage!!!! Every time i eat here i always have a nice experience. Even when they are very busy they are still polite, the salad bar is always stocked with a good selection of goodies, the place is decently clean at all times including the bathrooms which is a good thing. Also the food is always great! Keep up the good work. Only thing i can think of is maybe the 2 rude people that were giving me and my friends dirty looks for laughing a lil loud from time to time. Maybe talking to them on why you dont give customers dirty looks that alone can make me not want to go back and eat regardless of the how good the food is. read more
