I really like Jacks & will go again. However - i ordered something different than my usual build your own salad (which is always a plentiful amount of everything - enough for two meals, lots of toppings) - I ordered a bowl. We came in for the lunch buffet. Around 12:15 pm, there were three cucumber slices, obviously nothing was stocked up for the salad bar. The whipped cream was coagulated in the jello. who knows how old it was. And also found olive slices in the center of it. No forks for salad. The pizza was cold and they would only bring out a new pizza several minutes after the cold one disappeared. Their pizza is usually excellent when ordering for pick up. Customer Service is a 0. Came here to allow my son to go to the card store, empty nothing was working only one person in the store. None of the beverages were working and they expected me to wait another 50 min. It's not the young ladies fault, but every time I come to this establish is always empty- now I understand why. Go back to the classics. in this age of fast pizza, one forgets some of the traditional places that still are a quality pizza. Ordered three topping (pepperoni, sausage, and olive) for pick up. Pizza was ready on time. Hot and Fresh. Enjoyed it at home and was a positive experience all around. Parking lot has plenty of parking. Easy to find the location on a major street. The inside of the restaurant is roomy and clean. A few large TVs available with sports on was nice. The person who cooked the pizza and the person up front were very nice. I like mt.mikes pizza But never go to the one on 4141 Manzanita ave Carmichael Ca. It is the worst pizzeria and it calls itself a Mt mikes but when I do a search for Mt mikes on yelp at that address it doesn't exsist. Google Mt mikes on manzanita and it pops up. They took 2hrs to deliver it after saying.it would take 45min The pizza was cold, the garlic knots hard as a rock. Don't bother to complain they don't care. read more

They have a separate party room where they arranged everything for us with all happiness. The Food came out fresh and they also had the Pizzas customised as per our choice of taste. While visiting home from Washington for the holidays, plans changed and I got to visit one of my favorite pizza joints for the first time in years. Right off the bat, I noticed it had been updated. It looked a lot cleaner, the carpet was finally gone, and it generally had a more modern feel. I regretfully never got the managers name, but he initiated conversation and we started talking about how he took over and what he's done in the year or so to freshen up the joint. Of all the things he mentioned, his love for the Carmichael community was something that really hit me. He even went out of his way to make the party room a free thing for any group event just because he wants to give something back to the people, and building a relationship with them seemed like it meant more than any amount of pizza sales. That was a point he really drove home, and seemed genuine about. It was refreshing. The food has always been great, at least from what I remembered, but this time it was phenomenal. It almost mirrored the sort of rejuvenation of the establishment itself, almost like the food and the building shared a revival of sorts. To the manager whose name I never got, you're doing a great service to the people, your attitude and desire to build positive relationships with the community stood out more than anything else. Good things come to good people, and you've got great things coming. Cheers, and sorry for the text dump. Like I said, it was just a massively refreshing experience. read more

I called in at 10:30 and ordered a mini pizza to pick up for lunch at the Manzanita Carmichael location. The young girl took my order and said it would be ready at 11. I got there and had to wait while the two employees were doing something on the register. A few minutes later she acknowledged me and asked if I had ordered the mini. She charged me and took my money and then told me it wasn't ready and would be another 8 minutes. I told her I don't get that much time for lunch which is why I ordered it early and she responded with "It's only 8 minutes." I left. I've never had an issue with the food there but the service today was terrible, and the employee was rude. I hope she enjoys her $10 tip and I will not be returning. read more

Spoke to a "manager" told him the situation and he said he could not assist. I asked him for his name and he said," no name, I am not telling you my name, you have to come in and talk to the owner after 3pm during the week."
