There are prices are very reasonable and they have various specials in coupons like most pizza places. I have now been here several times and whether i'm ordering it ahead to pick up or doing a walk up, I've never had to wait long. They do not have inside dining. So this is to go only. Great Pizza. I order through the Slice app. They offer delivery by an employee, which is nice. The pizza is usually pretty close to on time, and it's always good. No indoor dining, so take out or delivery only. Their Hawaiian is probably my favorite even though it's a ham substitute, but all of the pizzas are great. Not overloaded with toppings like some places, but a solid, reasonably priced, more classic style pizza. I've been going here since they opened and it's fresh and consistent every time. Not a place for dining in but if you want a really nice NOT greasy pizza that has fresh ingredients, this is your place. I am sensitive to grease so this is a great place for me and my family. We drove from a hotel to pick up the pizza and it was after 9! They were so nice. Definitely will order from them again! Also, I can't eat pork so all the meats were ok for me to eat. We went with the Margarita and I was so surprised that there was no grease floating on top! This is not fancy schmancy gourmet pizza. Our newest go to resturant when we host big parties. They have gluten free crust, dairy free pizza and all the meat toppings are halal! My friends and I have been visiting every single pizza place in Sacramento in hopes of finding the best ones and the hidden gems out there. Our journey has led us to Halal West Pizza this time. To start, it's a very small shop. That's not a good or bad thing, it's just small like some other mom and pop shops. We always decide to get a large pepperoni pizza wherever we go so we can accurately compare it to other places. To start, we paid $16.16 for a large 14" pizza. That's extremely affordable which is nice. As for flavor, there was almost next to no sauce. The pizza definitely needed even just a tiny bit more to have made it better. The flavor overall was ok. They don't give a lot of cheese, and it seemed really skimpy on the pepperoni they give you. This was one of those pizzas that whenever you take a bite, all the cheese and pepperoni is ripped off of the pizza. That means you either get all the toppings in the first bite and none for the rest, or you have to stop and rip it so you can put it back on the rest of the slice to enjoy with the next bite. Even though I think it is in desperate need or more sauce, the crust is so thin that we didn't even think it would be able to support more. When we rate pizza places it's always out of 10. When we give somewhere a 5/10 that means it's completely average. Anything higher is better than average while anything lower is worse than average. To start, Halal has fantastic pricing. We give it a 9/10. As for flavors and quality of the pizza, that's a 2.5/10. It really isn't a good pizza, and not in the sense that it's disgusting, it just lacks so much. After factoring in a lot of other things, we are giving Halal West Pizza an overall rating of 3.9/10. It's not a place we'd recommend, but other reviewers seemed to like it so definitely go in and give it a shot for yourself. One criticism I have (not about the food) is that this pizza joint has a sign on their door that says "MASK IS REQUIRED." But NONE of the employees were wearing masks. So this is there grand opening!!!!! And let me say it doesn't disappoint! The staff is very nice the food tastes great! So I ordered the meat lovers and substituted bacon for the sausage. The one thing I really like is their crust is slightly thicker than thin crust pizza it's not like normal crust that's thick but not paper thin. I really don't have a better way to describe it. But I love it! I love the fact that they stay open late too. I think I just found my new pizza spot!!!! read more
