There's a bit about this place... I'm not sure if their online systems are off, or what. The pizza is delicious, don't get me wrong. My lack of stars are from the customer service and in-person experience. I had placed an order for pickup online and was quoted 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, I went in to pickup and they said it would be about another 10 minutes. I waited in the shop. I checked in after the 10 minutes and they quoted another 10-15 minutes. This continued... All in all, I waited 45+ minutes along with another customer for our pizzas. It was a Wednesday night. I'm not sure how their prioritization goes, whether it's phone orders first then online orders? I think the phone orders were pushed ahead of the online. Next time, (yes a next time because the pizza is delicious), I'll try calling in instead of doing the online order. read more

Reliably excellent pizza. Especially good vegetarian options that are hearty and filling. Original crust is good, and doesn't get weird or rubbery. Some creative house specials. They're pretty accurate with timing estimates. It's becoming my go-to pizza place because it's a step above most of the competition around here. Price may be a little higher than some, but it's not outrageous relative to the high quality and consistency. read more

I will not go to any other pizza place. Period. This is the BEST pizza. Period. This is a magnificent hill I am whole-heartedly, passionately, absolutely, full-on, ain't-no-doubt-about-it willing to die on. And it will be an ecstatic death. There will be no weak ass death sigh or moan, it'll be full on orgasmic release. The result: all within miles and miles will hear it and say: "I'll have what he had." Been going here for at 5 years at least, but probably more. There have been ZERO let downs. They've always been kind and helpful whether on the phone or in person. They have their own delivery service. I'd recommend calling them directly for either pick up or delivery. Sure, delivery may take longer, but at least your money is fully going to this business and not to shady corps (DoorDash, Uber, etc.) who take advantage of their drivers in ways that are beyond unethical. Hint for delivery: if the pizza is a bit less than piping hot because, you know, they have one driver who probably has multiple stops, just throw it in the oven for like 10mins at 350. Or not, either way it'll still be damn delicious. read more

Stopped by here for a bite to eat as we were a little early for a funeral service Did not have high expectations, but WOW! The pizza had just the right amount of crisp, not overly baked, and was flavorful. Simple take out place, with a few tables it front, it works. Even though I wasn't very hungry when I arrived, I ended up having 3 slices of the Original BBQ chicken because it was THAT good. read more

I decided to give your pizza a try... and now I order all of my pizzas only from you. Your pizzas are very tasty! Your staff makes and cooks the pizza quickly. The toppings are always quality ingredients. The fresh dough is great, thin and soft as we like it! I am very pleased that they can put two or three different toppings on one pizza when we request it. You have great prices and I'm always happy to leave a tip for your workers! Solid family-owned/run pizza place in Citrus Heights, pretty easily accessible from Orangevale/Citrus/Rancho/Fair Oaks area. Solid pizza with fresh tasting ingredients and a large variety of specialty pies to choose from. Good number of toppings and sizes of the pizzas are pretty much anything you want them to be - personal sized to XXL+. Prices are a bit on the higher side and wished they could offer discounts/coupons. Servers are fast and efficient. Plenty of parking for pickup in the adjacent lot. Cheesy garlic bread is FANTASTIC and definitely recommended. It's also not a high expense item on their menu and is always a crowd favorite. read more

This is one of my favorite pizza places in Sacramento. I love that they are not stingy with the toppings. The crust and sauce are consistently delicious--not bland. Service is good, too. We ate there once in person, but it's more of a delivery/takeout place (that was years ago, too, so I'm not sure if they still offer dine-in). They are also on delivery apps. I like the Dad's favorite. Bummed the Maui Zowie is gone, though that was my fav. Keep it up, Original Pizza House!!!! read more

HORRIBLE DONT COME!!! I came to order and i saw a bunch of minors working.. I ordered my pizza and there was a HAIR in my PIZZA this is absurd!!!! I also ordered a soda it was opened and had a funky smell and taste to it.. The workers are insanely judgmental and rude, service sucks. Pizza is alright! You can definitely tell they're budgeting by the amount of ingredients they use on their pizza! I can't imagine what their thin crust is like when our regular crust was sooo thin! It was also overcooked so you got that nice crunch with every bite! Just want you want in a pizza lol! read more

Great pizza. Consistent quality, toppings are always fresh and they'll have your pie ready in 20 mins pretty much every time. In my opinion, it's the best classic style (dominos, Pizza Hut, round table, etc) pizza in the greater Sacramento area and best of all it la family owned and operated. My personal favorite is the Maui Zaui, it's a pineapple bacon concoction with some chili sauce drizzled on top and it's sweet spicy smokey--you gotta try it. read more

My friends and I have been eating at every pizza place in Sacramento to figure out who has the best ones. Our journey has led us to Original Pizza House which I had never heard of before. It's kind of tucked away from the street view so I've driven by for years, without ever realizing there was a pizza place there. Like always, we check the menu for pricing before ordering. The menu on Yelp needs to be updated however, because we saw a family special which was a 2 large 2-topping pizza, 12 piece cheese garlic bread and one 2 liter soda for $29.99. When we called to place this order however, the guy on the phone said they don't have any specials on yelp or in person. The menu also lists a lot of pizzas at $3.99 which I'm assuming is for the personal sized ones. Moving onto the pizza review itself, we purchased an extra large pepperoni pizza which was 16". The price for the pizza itself came out to $20. When we were being charged out, we saw that they have many pizza sizes above extra large. The highest they go to is a 28" pizza called the king size. Very few places around here will make pizzas that big which is impressive. The pepperoni is really good. They don't skimp on the amount the put, plus flavor is excellent. It walks a fine line between crispy and soft pepperoni. The pizza has a decent amount of grease, but not so much that it needs to be dabbed off. As weird as it sounds, it's the right amount of grease for a pizza. The cheese itself was fairly average. It's good, but nothing that really stands out. The crust, much like the pepperoni, has a nice balance between soft and crunchy. It's not super brittle crust like some places, and it's not all soft and doughy like others. We also got the garlic cheesy bread. It's my personal favorite out of other places I've tried. The rest of my group said it was passable though. So do what you will with that information. They also have many specialty pizzas like the shrimp scampi, super cheese, and chef's favorite. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying some of them. When we rate our pizza places we do it out of 10. A 5/10 for us is as average as it gets. Anything lower than a 5 is worse than average, while anything above is better than average. When it comes to price, 20$ for an extra large pepperoni pizza is a pretty good value. We rate it an 8.5/10 on pricing. As for overall flavor, it's a really enjoyable pizza that we'd give 7.75/10. Overall, we'd give Original Pizza House an 8.25/10. It's affordable, has great flavor, lots of options for sizes, and many specialty pizzas to choose from. If you're in the area and looking for a new place to try, I highly recommend stopping by and giving them a shot. Original Pizza house will definitely be in our personal rotations when we're in the mood for pizza. read more

I ordered a combo pizza and it had no meat on it and barbecue sauce on it. They charged me for a combo but they said that's their combo. They should explain that to people because I got ripped off big time and gave it to the neighbors. I love barbecue sauce, but not on pizza and where is the beef lol read more

My go to pizza spot in the Sacramento area. If you are a fan of white sauce pizza I highly recommend. My go to is the Chef's favorite and is a household classic at our place. I can't speak on the other location but the food is always consistently good here with an effort to get your orders out asap. For larger orders I recommend calling in ahead. read more

this is one of the best craft pizzas we've ever had. this pizza is always gone so fast whenever our dad brings it home from work. he typically gets a large original garlic chicken pizza for around $27. this is pretty pricey in my opinion, but i believe the pizza is well worth the money. the flavor and topping is incredible. we're not fans of marinara sauce on pizza, so this is a delicious alternative to it. the crust is thin and the toppings blend together so well. just an outstanding pizza. the cheese blend is also really nice, melty, and not over powering. the onions are cut really thinly and crisp up perfectly. the pizza reheats really nicely in the air fryer. i don't have much to add about the service or ambiance. this place's pizza is just really good! read more

This pizza place makes other pizza places disappoint..The Garlic pizza is yum yum ..I got that one and we also ordered an Hawaiian..Both pizza was above any standard with sauce cheese and toppings...They do not skimp..also the flavor was aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamazing..If you like pizza ...and I know you do!! They are just so welcoming and kind, and treat my wife & I with the upmost respect. Their energy and passion for beer is contagious and I'm always learning something new after chatting with them! You'll be lucky to have them serving you when you visit. I just can't say enough good things about this place. If you enjoy drinking with friends or just wanna spend your afternoon drinking a cold out on the patio, this is a top-tier brewery to visit in mid-town!

Everyone was super friendly and laid back. You can order at the tap or grab a seat and order via QR, which is awesome. Plenty of seating, spacious, good vibes, and they had Premier League on their massive TV. Beer was superb, kind of hard to review because I just love beer, man. We started with the shishito peppers, which were great and came with a really memorable miso aioli that was very addictive with a hint of lemon. We also got the "Fun Guy" pizza to share and made the mistake of removing the goat cheese, which I think hurt it. The crust was excellent and the toppings were fresh, but it felt like it was missing that salty, funky balance the goat cheese would've added. Still very good, but that one's on me. I'd definitely get it as intended next time. One of my favorite breweries, especially with so many having closed over the past few years. Cheers to them.

But every time I visit Paesanos I get both of those things. On my most recent visit to the restaurant, I had the pleasure of being served by Clemens. He was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and helped me find the perfect meal(Fettucine Arrositi) to fit my current dietary restrictions. He also helped my grandma find something on the menu that wouldn't be too carb heavy since she is diabetic. He was pleasant all around, he was patient with my grandma all night and made me feel like he truly valued our time and didn't rush us. He is everything you want in a server-kind,direct,knowledgeable, and dependable. I would come back any time just to get customer service like that. Now on to the food, I had the Fettucine Arrositi which I believe is their signature dish. I have had it before but this time it was especially delicious. The sauce has a flavor like no other pasta I've ever had it's rich but not too rich creamy but not too creamy and the thing that sets it apart from other creamy pastas is the subtle Cajun flavor. It tastes a bit like old bay and Tabasco to me with some other amazing things in it I'm sure but it was delicious 9/10 My grandma likes to order a lot of things for the table because she never got to have that so she ordered a bunch of things for herself to try and for me to finish. We had the meatballs and they were fantastic but she felt they were too big haha 9/10. Then we had the calamari which was my favorite of the appetizers we ordered. I'm hoping next time to try the polenta fries. Then for her main course my grandma had the wedge salad which she loved but she did mention she wished it had lots more bacon and I can't blame because I too always want more bacon on things. All in all it was a great experience and I will be back very soon.
