I am so disappointed! I could yell OUT LOUD! I have been a faithful customer for the past few years after my daughter went to a sleep over at her friends house and told me how much she liked the pizza and that her friends family had been long time customers, so I gave them a try and have been a customer ever since. Whenever I go in the main person I speak to whom I believe to be the owner has exceptional customer service and almost makes you feel like part of the family, which is rare these days. I ordered two hand tossed pizzas tonight and to my dismay was shocked when I saw that in actuality they were thin cut pizzas! I called and spoke to someone other than the owner to let him know what I discovered and he was immediately RUDE and went on to tell me that a pizza that's an inch height isn't a thin cut and that they haven't had any thin cut pizzas tonight. I will let you decided what I received tonight other than deplorable and rude customer service! They have lost a long time customer over ATTITUDE and unwillingness to hear the customer out. My parents asked me to pick up a pizza on the way from work, so I placed my order online and received an email from them that my order will be ready in twenty minutes. This process was pretty good and I liked getting updates via email. When I picked up the pizza and brought it to my parents' house, I discovered that half of the pizza was not edible because the crust was not baked properly. Half of the pizza had an unbaked crust. You could not even lift those slices up to eat them. My first experience was not good at all, unfortunately. I am definitely not coming back. read more

First thing they have a website to see the menu and place an order not DoorDash or Uber eats, that was so easy to use without the upcharge from delivery apps, they had a ton of great coupons online to use . We ordered 4 pizzas and a ton of sides for a future time and date and let me tell you they were 2 min earlier than the scheduled time. Food was delicious nice and hot my whole party loved it. Based on past reviews, never seen such a division of love it (5 stars) or hate it (1 star). There are no in-betweens until my 3 stars. We came because hubs friends suggested it. He must have been with the 5 stars folks. First it is located in a old dirty, dingy shopping center across from the Asian market. There were a group of homeless camped out on the side of the pizza place. We walk in and it is just a counter with one table. It is meant for take out, not for dine in. Hubs recognized him from NY Pizza in Roseville. He owns both. They had a special going on so we got a medium specialty pizza for 12.99 and with an order mozzarella sticks got out of there for less than $20. Got it home and it looked better than other reviewers. It didn't look burnt. The ingredients were plentiful but not quality. Hubs says, "its alright. I would not get it again." I had to agree. It is better than Dominoes and maybe on par with Little Caesars. However for the price it was fair. You get a lot of pizza for not much money. I have spent more for less. read more

We received an ad/coupon in the mail. We proceeded to show more interest in the business once looking at the flyer. We live close by and we're craving pizza, so we thought we would try something new and a little cheaper. I am sure this business is amazing for people that need a more affordable food option, but the food is not it. I ordered 2 pizzas, a calzone, jalapeño poppers, mozzarella sticks, and buffalo boneless wings.... I had a strange feeling before we ordered, because of the stock photos used in the mail flyer, but I still ordered based on the google reviews. It was $80 with the tip included for delivery. Sadly to say, the food is extremely underwhelming. The sides (apart from the calzone) appear frozen or Jack-in-the-Box style. We chose to air-fry the mozzarella sticks and the jalapeño peppers, because they were not warm.;however, after air frying for three minutes, the batter was soggy, and the jalapeño poppers look exactly like the ones I get from Jack-in-the-Box. My boneless buffalo wings have hardly any sauce on them and represent the Tyson boneless wings in the Walmart frozen section. I am sorry to say that if you receive the flyer in the mail, the food does not look at ALL like the photos. Also, for everyone leaving good reviews... YOU ARE ALL getting combination! Don't listen to the bad reviews! This place is crazy good! They perfectly execute getting the toppings on top nice and well-cooked (crispy bacon, upturned pepperoni, etc), while also achieving a crust that is both crispy and chewy. A lot of the bad reviews are, I think, about the phone service at this place. The kitchen is minimally-staffed, as its a small location specializing in takeout-- there's nobody whose job is to work the phones, so calling in you can expect a busy signal in many instances. BUT, the business has an online ordering form that is clean, quick, and easy to use. I've ordered from this location at least 5 times now, and every time it has been as superb as its name suggests. This is high-quality pizza, of I think the same grade as Round Table or Mountain Mike's, but a whole lot cheaper AND you can order here knowing you're supporting local business. Their customer service is absolutely hands down the worst service I've ever encountered. Whoever the angry man is that always answers the phone to take orders is a very miserable man. I called on a Saturday night for delivery and asked if they had a certain pizza, which they ended up not having so I had to figure out another kind I wanted to order unexpectedly. He started screaming at me repeating himself over and over saying "ONLY TWO TOPPINGS DO YOU HEAR ME?! THATS IT"and I'm not over exaggerating when I say this, literally screaming at the top of his lungs I started shaking out of frustration. I've been trying to support local businesses as much as possible but I can't force it if they don't even try. Love this place, when I was a teenager I use to work here and this place still open. Owner don't use computers or any technology but he makes amazing dough which is the most important part for pizza. All pizza places order their supplies from the same distributor. The only difference is the dough and this one the best. They get a MEH because it is just that. Now granted almost all of time we order from this place is because were at the bar trying to get rid of a good buzz, so any pizza taste good at that moment. Pros: They hand toss there pizza, anyone knows this adds more air to the dough and gives the crust a nice crispy taste, very few places if any still hand toss. The toppings appear to be fresh, I have never had an issue there. They have pretty good white sauce on there chicken garlic. Its always hot, but were also right across the street when they bring it to us. When we order they know us, so I think the pizza tends to be made with a little more care, we do order a lot of pizza from them. However; that's not good for the average person, it should be consistent customer service. But I am not complaining on my part :) They will deliver Beer and Wine that's a + Cons: The people are usually rude and pushy when you call, better know what you want and don't ask a lot of questions. Coupons are misleading, buy one get one free still costs you $19 bucks, when a normal single pizza is about $9. Weird math there, but were usually all chipping in, and I am drunk and hungry so who cares! Overall: Bottom line is it's pizza, good bad or indifferent we all love it. I get tired of ordering from Round Table and spending $30 for a specialty pizza, and it either comes cold or screwed up. When I do get cold and screwed up pizza I don't want to pay $30 bucks for it. Yes I enjoy a really good tasting pizza with quality dough and ingredients but less face it, unless your going to an upscale pizza place you won't get that at Superb. They serve cheap mediocre pizza, just what you would expect to get at any of these rat holes. Don't set your expectations to high, its not Original Pete's.
