It is tastefully decorated and smells so good upon entering. We were the only patrons on a snowy Saturday at 130 pm and were greeted and served promptly. The menu is extensive, but the lunch menu is an incredible deal with the right amount of a variety of foods for just about $15 pp. My husband opted for Lamb, while I got a vegetarian. I love Palak Paneer, and theirs may well be the best I've ever had. The naan they served us was fresh, hot and delicious. We decided to try the Cheetah mango local beer (we shared just one because of the weather), and as promised, is the perfect accompaniment to the food. He was excited that people show up to support. He offered me water bottles Togo, which I declined since my family's house is literally 30 seconds drive/ 5 minutes walk away. He also offered me some sweets! He was offering to another customer too. Super friendly. Kitchen was small but two chefs inside. Lady at the country was offering food! Super friendly people. Since I was going home for a big family dinner: I calmed the urge to order more stuff. But such a welcoming place! My 4 tea and kabobs came to $25. Great prices too. It's big enough to go alone, with friends or with a group of friends. The food is vibrant looking. The flavours are delicious and inviting. Tonight, I am having the Murgh Irani, and the Dal Makhani. I have had these dishes before and have never been disappointed. A Murg is a chicken dish with cashews, cream, mushrooms and black pepper. They provide a handsome portion of white meat, and the sauce is velvety rich. It is by far my favourite dish here. I have never had it h this way at any other restaurant. Dal is a staple to many, but with the addition of red kidney beans, it becomes a hearty meal all in itself. It is made with black Dal as opposed to the milder yellow dal that appears on most menus. The best part for me is that I can eat such a meal and they can make it gluten free. Please be aware to ask about the pakoras if you have celiac disease. Even though they are listed as gluten free, and are made with chickpea flour, they share a deep fryer, so are not suitable for people with Celiac Disease.
