We saw this place on tik tok and drove an hour to come and try it out! It was well worth the trip. I'm not even sure where to start, the service was amazing, Dill(the owner) and her family have a great thing going here. Very attentive and informative about things like spice levels and the menu. It is located directly next to the Arcade and Attica train, it was very cool to watch the train go by. The moment you've all been waiting for... drum roll please! The food... so good. The magi and strawberry lassi tasted like danimals drinkable yogurt! Everything was spiced to perfection. We ordered veggie samosas, chicken 65, and chicken tikka masala with a side of garlic naan. The samosas came with this sweet honey type of sauce and the two together were a delicious blend of sweet and savory. The garlic naan was fresh and chewy, the best samosas and naan I've ever had. The chicken tikka masala was so tender and the sauce was delicious, tomatoey and creamy. For me the star of the show was the chicken 65, the meat was so good, smaller pieces of meat with this almost sticky caramelized bbq-esque type of sauce. So delicious! My husband and I devoured it. Everything was made to order, super fresh and delicious. You can tell they put their heart and soul into this business.

Fantastic meal! The appetizer platter was delicious and our waiter was kind enough to explain what we were trying. It was delicious. We had the butter chicken and chicken curry, they were both fantastic and very flavorful. The naan could have been more garlicky but was still good! Only downside was it did take a bit to get our food but again once it came out, it was delicious! Very spacious area!

We went to dinner with no intentions of getting Indian food but the other place was closed. We didn't even know there was an Indian place in the area so we decided to stop in and omg am I glad we did!!!! My favorite Indian place closed years ago in the north towns and haven't found a decent place until now. I had lamb biryani and my husband had the chicken vindaloo. The herbs in biryani were so delicious, the meat was so tender, and it had a slight spice- so good. The vindaloo was so so so creamy and the flavor was just right. We both devoured our plates and could've licked the plates clean. I also washed it down with a mango lassi. The cook/owner came out with samples of her dessert that were so delicious. I would've ordered some but I was so deliciously full I couldn't breathe haha. Cannot wait to go back!!!

Very good authentic Indian food right in downtown arcade. Wasn't expecting that good of food down here honestly.

It is located in an older strip mall that has seen better days. The interiors are a bit dark and could use brighter lighting. While the inside isn't fancy, the restaurant was still well decorated and clean, and most importantly, serves up tasty and flavorful food. They also have an array of Indian snacks and drinks available for purchase/take out, which was a nice touch because they probably aren't readily available in the general area. To start off, we went with the vegetable bhajia (3.5/5) which were good, but would have preferred they made them a little crispier. For meals, we went the paneer makhani and vegetable muglai (both 4.5/5). Both dishes had gravies of high quality, which I wasn't expecting in the Finger Lakes area, as they could go toe to toe with quality Indian restaurants you find in the NJ/PA area. The naan (5/5) was fluffy and delicious as well. The service (I think by the owner) was warm and friendly. There weren't many customers which had us concerned a bit, but he explained that most of the restaurants in Canandaigua have an early dinner crowd and also tend to close early as most locals don't dine out very late. They do automatically add an 18% service charge, which we didn't mind as prices for everything were very reasonable and we probably would have tipped more than that anyway cause of the satisfying experience. Overall, I'd the restaurant a 4.5 out of 5, and would recommend Flavors for quality Indian cuisine in Canandaigua. I wouldn't hesitate to return here for a meal should my travels bring me back to the Finger Lakes.

My first impression once inside was there were no customers and no one to greet me. The buffet featured in photographs and reviews on Yelp was empty. The restaurant environment was cozy, as soft music played. Finally a young gentleman seated me with the menu. I inquired about the buffet and he said they had to stop the buffet due to food waste. He brought me chilled water with no ice (not my request) and I placed my order of lamb vindaloo, vegetable biryani, and plain naan bread. I asked to keep the menu for a dessert choice after my meal. Sadly, I did not take pictures of my food in the restaurant, but the food was very tasty. I requested spicy versions and both entrees were on point. When I arrived, a few minutes after 2 pm I was aware the restaurant closed at 3 pm. By the time I finished my first plate of lamb and biryani, the young man asked if I wished to choose my dessert now because they close at 3 pm. I had 16 minutes until closing. I reluctantly declined dessert because I was sensing they wanted me to leave. I took one more plate of food and he brought me my check and I requested a to go box for 3/4ths for my biryani and all but a half piece of naan bread. I finished my plate and transferred my food to the to go box. The young man left and there was about 8 minutes to closing. An older man emerged and spoke out loud from across the restaurant. I thought surely this person isn't talking to me from across the room. I continued to my bill and signed off and then the same man came closer and said are you finished? We are closed. I complained that he was rushing me and he reiterated that they close at 3 pm. I replied I arrived minutes after 2 pm and there were no patrons here. I waited patiently for my food to be prepared and I was reminded twice that the restaurant closes at 3pm. I asked him did he feel his actions were rude and if he felt any responsibility to the welfare of his customer to finish their meal peacefully? After all, I didn't walk in 30 minutes before closing, nor were they busy. I was their only customer for approximately an hour. He replied no we close at 3 pm and I need to get home and then come back later. There was no concern for me as a customer! The food was good and seasoned as requested. Customer service was disappointing and was rude. The older employee felt no responsibility or remorse for his actions. It is clear to me why there were no customers in the restaurant.
