I've tried all the bagels in the area. Mount kisco bagels is the best. So good never misses

This was my first time going to this location for bagels with my boyfriend. The food is actually really good! They have such unique items, including a black-and-white muffin instead of a cookie. The bagels tasted really good and we had two different types of cream cheese and both were absolutely amazing. The only thing about this place that we personally did not like was the service. My boyfriend wanted to buy chips and the servers just stood there. The place to sit and eat is nice and the coffee bar they have is cute. It's not a bad place and we will come back I just hope the service will be better.

I got some really good bagels here. They are nice and plump and completely covered in everything seasoning. Black-and-white cupcake was also quite good, and moist in the middle. Apple turnover was good but could've been better. It needed to be crunchier. All in all it was delicious.

Amazing bagels! They taste so good! The best around. Friendly staff. We had an everything bagel and wheat sesame bagel both toasted with scallion cream cheese.

Got 2 bacon egg and cheese sandwiches and a toasted bagel with cream cheese. Wasn't busy, waited about 25-30 min. You can decide if it's worth it.

First time in, picking up some bagelwiches. Located on the west side of 117 in a small, three store strip, one could easily drive past. My advice is to go slow and don't miss this bagel treat! The store is clean and neat, and masks and social distancing is on full display :) Plenty of helpful staff. Baking on premises. No crappy Dunkin bagels here! The bagels, while running the usual gamut, look a bit different in a good way. For example, the multi-grain bagel one usually sees actually includes seeds and grains! The oat bran bagel is indeed a rare bird. My sandwich was prepared exactly as asked for - dough out, toasted, single egg, ham and pepper. The bagel was absolutely delicious! They have everything for your breakfast and lunch needs, and a few tables in case you wish to linger with the morning paper. Lots of coffee choices too! Wish it were closer to home!

I'm shocked to see so many poor reviews! I hope my review brings up that 3-star average a bit, Mt. Kisco bagel deserves it! I will refute earlier claims and say these bagels are fairly priced (IMO). For such a thick bagel, I'd say the dough sells for the right amount of dough (heh). You get a breakfast sandwich here for somewhere around $5/$6 -- seems consistent with like a Starbucks sandwich or something, and those are nowhere near as hearty or tasty. I got a sausage, egg, cheese, and hashbrown on a plain bagel and it was otherworldly. The bagels definitely have a nice crisp on the outside and a dreamy soft-inside that this out-of-State-er had not experienced before. I have no complaints about the service, although I did come well past rush hour so I saw them without any pressure applied. Some nice lady did lead me to the bathroom which was appreciated. Cool beans!

This place has always been expensive, but pricing is now out of control for an average tasting bagel.

The setup was easy enough to find, but the overall vibe felt a little limited. I ordered a sourdough bagel with cream cheese and a plain croissant. Both were okay -- fresh, toasted, and crispy (maybe a little too toasted). The croissant was huge, which was a nice surprise, but it wasn't buttered, which I definitely prefer. I also wish they had more bagel options available when I went, and I'm personally not a fan of applying my own cream cheese -- part of the bagel experience for me is having it done for you. It also seems like the only add-on option now is cream cheese, which is a little disappointing if you're hoping for a full sandwich or variety. On the plus side, there's parking right outside, which is always appreciated. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience, just not great either. I might give it another try someday, but it's not at the top of my list.

So when work brought me to Katonah, my first move--before coffee, before common sense--was a full sprint to Goldberg's. Let me say this: the experience was equal parts exhilarating and comforting... like running into an old friend who still makes things the way they're supposed to be made. I went for a sampler of my personal classics. The everything bagel? Phenomenal. The chew, the texture, the flavor--it transported me straight back home. The scallion cream cheese was easily one of the best I've had. If I had a complaint, it's that the bagel leaned a bit heavy on the salt. And yes, I did the unthinkable and left some of the outer layer behind. I know. I'm not proud of it. Next up: the chicken salad and coleslaw--my deli litmus tests. The chicken salad was a strong 9/10--again, just slightly salt-forward--but still excellent. The house-made coleslaw? A full 10/10. I would absolutely come back and eat a gallon of it without hesitation or shame. Now... the heartbreak. I ordered a Taylor ham, egg, and cheese on a hard roll. I understand this is a bagel establishment, so maybe the roll isn't the star of the show--but this one was tough, crusty, and pretty lifeless. But the real offense? What I received was not Taylor ham. Not even close. Some kind of regular ham situation was happening, and to make matters worse, the sandwich was barely filled. As you'll see in the photo--it felt borderline criminal. That said, the service? Outstanding. Truly. Everyone was friendly, professional, and welcoming. They treated me like a regular even though it was my first time in, which goes a long way. All in all, I'm really glad I stopped in. It absolutely scratched that homesick itch for a real bagel and deli experience--and more importantly, it reassured me that places like this still exist. Next time, I'm sticking to the bagels... and ordering that coleslaw by the bucket. By the way, it earns three stars compared to its other New York Metro local delis... This would be a 12 star establishment in the north west corner of Connecticut

As you can tell by the existence of this review, I had decided to get to Bellmore I would park in the parking lot next to this business until I got back. This place does kind of give me a Rocky Balboa vibe upon entering, which isn't a bad thing at all. Some of the names of the menu items are even inspired from the movies such as The Balboa and The Italian Stallion. Beyond that, this place does take a little learning, but ordering is pretty simple once you know what you're doing. You don't pay for the order until you get your food, and you pay right by the front door. This is something I could see going awry if the wrong kind of people were to come here and requires an amount of trust in the customers that can make some nervous people uncomfortable. Really though, beyond that the service here is really good. I did have to remind the cashier to get my bill right when it was my turn to pay, so there is also that to consider. I did The Spartan Stack and some Mac and cheese bites because when I was returning to Katonah, I NEEDED something to eat right there and then. The Spartan Stack let me tell you got the spot just right, and I did appreciate some healthier ingredients such as cucumber in there. The Mac and cheese bites are a newer item as was The Spartan Stack, and those were pretty tasty. You get a chipotle sauce to dip them in, and let me just say that it does actually pack a punch of heat! All in all, a really satisfying lunch and I'm glad I came here. It's actually a great spot if you're commuting from the Katonah Station and it's very convenient. A good place indeed.
