The prices seemed a little steep on some of the menu. ( expected on steaks and fish) I had to give them a bit of grace with all the chaos going on. Our server was kind and attentive. They didn't have much options for the festive drinks. I ordered their thin mint martini. I'd love to give them another shot in the future when it's less chaotic and they have food we want available. They had their front area setup with fire pits/heat lamps and tables to enjoy some hot chocolate that was only $3 for reg but if you wanted to "boozie" it up it would depend on the alcohol. The codfish tasted like it was cooked in burnt oil or something. It was also barely warm. We couldn't quite figure it out and the onion finger things didn't taste like they were good. The only halfway good thing was the steak and cheese sandwich. They were very busy tonight, so we were trying to give them the benefit of the doubt, but when the food was not even good, like at all, that really sucked. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get the food bc I had dinner plans, but I did stay for a couple drinks. They have a great selection of spirits and cocktail specials. My friend got a tequila sunrise, so I followed suit. The pour was quite generous, I must say, and I'm def not complaining. The drink was smooth, with the perfect amount of tequila and sweetness. The bartenders working were both friendly and sociable. The vibe was relaxed and is a great alternative when things get too crazy at the dam. While I only got drinks, I'll for sure be back. The smells alone (all good of course) will have you lingering back!
