These guys are the best in N. Phoenix! I shopped around too. I'm fairly new to riding and was in dire need of a new front for my CBR 600 f4i. So I reviewed tires, decided on a Michelin Pilot ( ), did a few searches to get a ballpark price, and started calling around town. Not only were they one of the few shops that had the tire in stock, but installed and out the door price was lower than a few places wanted for the damn tire alone. So I rolled in a bit after 4pm, no appointment, had about a ten minute wait and talked to a couple Harley guys about bikes as theirs were being finished up. Badda boom, badda bing, I'm rolling out a few minutes before 5 and have been very satisfied with the tire and installation that Mototire did on my bike. FYI, these guys had no problem letting me in the shop to poke around and ask questions. I'm handy with a wrench, but always fair better having seen it done first. I would have preferred to take the tire off and bring it in to save another 20 or so but I was concerned about not having the right tool(s) to get the calipers back on. Made that mistake on one of my cars once.... once. They told me all about the "special" tool needed, how to hoist or secure my bike for tire removal, and many other valuable tips. For anyone else out there who's tried to get into a shop to see their baby being hacked on by somebody else probably has encountered resistance, red tape, excuses, and on and on of reasons why you couldn't get in. Or they might 'sneak' you in for a minute but that's it b/c it's their butt on the line, blah, blah, blah. Then try and ask a mechanic or service manager what exactly is going on and all of sudden their vocabulary retards significantly and you walk out with more questions than when you went in. Well, that was a long banter to tell you that these guys aren't like that. Hell, they might have even coached me through the job if I had asked them. I was turned on to Chad and Moto from a trusted friend who had positive feedback to share about Moto. I made a phone call and Chad answered the phone. I introduced myself and my need for 18" rubber for my Road Glide, Breaks fluids among other things. Mind you this is the first time he and I have ever spoken. Chad. "if you want a matching set I have one more in stock Michelin commander 3. I was unaware of their first come first serve model and I said "Yes I want them among all of the other discussion. Chad told me the hours and I said I will be there tomorrow before you open. I was there and I received the install as well as breaks, fluids, Clutch adjustment and a few minor professional touches on the house because as Chad stated. We took care of that to keep you under X amount of dollars. 2 hours folks My ride was ready to go in two hours. No joke. The joke is on all the rest that tell you to dump your pride and joy at the door and beg to see her back again any time soon. Long story shortened. I went on a rip with a close friend today, the very same one who suggested Moto to me in the first place. Started in Sun City West at around 9 am to Anthem for Breakfast, Up 17 to Flagstaff. south to Sedona, continued to New River and back to Sun City West. My bike felt like it never has before. The difference the Michelin's made compared to the Harley branded Dunlop's that I have always used was amazing. The bike shifted better and just simply felt. "RIGHT!" that is saying a lot with one word. Thank you Chad and company Mototire. You guys place a smile from ear to ear on my face today and have gained a loyal customer for years to come. Mototire puts customer satisfaction as their top priority! Chad went way above and beyond to help me when I had just about given up hope. As a Senior Citizen who invested a hefty amount for a Mobility Scooter I found myself in a difficult spot. The manufacturer of the Scooter had discontinued the model of Scooter that I had bought. They also stopped making replacement parts for the Scooter too, which left me with quite a dilemma when I needed to replace my rear tire. I spent weeks trying to locate a tire for my Scooter without much success. Then I stumbled upon Mototire!!! I spoke with Chad over the phone and he took the time to find me a tire that might be compatible with mobility scooter. He asked me to bring my scooter by his shop so he could make adjustments to my scooter to make sure the tire was a good fit. My heart sank a bit when I told him that the mobility is the only transportation I have since my Husband surrendered his driver License due to his failing eyesight, Chad then said he would come directly to my home and take a look at the scooter! I made the first appointment of the day (8:00am) with Danny for my Vulcan 900. I arrived early expecting to wait for the shop to open. Not only was he already there, Danny was busily helping another customer who needed a tube change. He asked me if that was okay and of course I was fine with that because I was early. He advised that guy that he needed new brake pads, quoted a good rate, and completed the tube change efficiently. He rolled my bike in to change the rear tire at 7:58 ( two minutes early) and rolled it out at 8:13. Not only did he change the tire in 15 minutes, he was friendly - greeting other customers by name and getting his partner started on other tasks. On a prior visit to Mototire, Danny changed a tire for me that I did not even buy from him. It was new and had developed a bubble. He warrantied the tire anyway and only charged labor. I would not willingly go anywhere else to have my shoes replaced. I wish every business were exactly like his. Friendly, honest, efficient, and professional! Best prices too! read more

I went here for a rear tire for my bike. It was 10 minutes until closing. I really needed a tire and so they actually stayed late so that they could replace my tire and not only that, the mechanic Todd noticed that my brake pads were metal to metal and needed to be replaced and he went ahead and did that even though it would take a little bit more time away from them being able to go home. Chad also found me the best price on the tire that he could so I didn't have to pay much more than I originally thought. They went above and beyond what one would expect and so I highly recommend this place for all of your needs. There's really not too many shops left with people that run them with any heart anymore! They could have turned me away, they could have charged me ANY amount at that point (because I HAD to HAVE a tire) but Chad and Todd took care of me and everything was great! Went to Danny last summer @ Mototire and told them I would write something up for them, which I have never done before. The reason for that was because they were so professional, I inquired about a few other things and they understood internet price but yet still offered the product as cheep as they could but yet be able to open there door to be there for us, and not push it at me. Again I went back a few weeks ago just to ask there a pinion on a tire and the way it was wearing, Danny took the time to take me inside the shop, find a tire and explain the different things and why there caused. I do have a tire for the back of my bike that was purchased awhile back, but I will be going there again today to have them do the work. They are cheep in price for changing a tire & balancing it and the service is quick, nothing in the Valley compares to there work and them being professionals Thanks guys, Great job read more

I found my back tire on my Ninja 300 had a flat today after work, called around a couple shops for pricing. Even the dealership I bought the bike from quoted me $150 for a replacement, not including the labor of putting it on, on top of a 3-4 day wait for it to come in! Found Mototire as it was close to my home and asked the price, Danny told me about $150 out the door, labor and all. Even when I was asking about the tire I needed, and told it might not be there until tomorrow, he asks me to hold because Fedex showed up. And what do you know it's the tire I need! 20 minutes to get there, and I was out the door 30 minutes later with a brand new tire. Had a rear tire go down on the loop 101 and was referred to these guys by the people at cycle gear. Called them and they gave me the number of Steve Adelman, PBT precision bike towing. One call to Steve and about 30 minutes later the bike was on the back of his truck and on our way to MotoTire in Scottsdale. By the way it was 110 in the shade yesterday so I can't say enough about the rapid service I received. They had my tire in stock, got to work on my bike as soon as it was off the ramp and had me back on the road in less than an hour. Tire price and labor was more than fair, less than the cost of the tire at some places. Friendly, efficient, and great price.
