    The worst!!!! We bought three different cars bcuz each had a issue. The first vehicle put my son in…read morethe hospital with exhaust issues. The car was literally spitting gas under the hood. The second, an engine light came on after two days. The radio wouldn't work properly from the second we pulled off the lot. Each time we returned a vehicle, they charged us more money as a downpayment. Customer service at the New Castle branch was the worst you could get from any business. They continuously hung up or forwarded our call to no answer every time we tried to voice a complaint. We are forced to try the third car because they wouldn't return our money but by check at some unknown date in the future. So wish us luck. Lastly, READ THE DRIVER CARE BROCHURE BEFORE YOU LET THEM TALK YOU INTO PURCHASING IT... YOU'LL B SHOCKED BY THE THINGS THEY DON'T COVER. P. S. Chapman Chevrolet wouldn't even accept they're third-party insurance (Silver Rock)... Oh, yeah. Don't let me forget to say that their interest rate is 29.9...."29.9"!!!! Update: So we bought a Chrysler 300... Had it for two days. This morning I went to start it so my mother and I can take my brother to his Operation. It wouldn't start. The sound of rain surrounded the car. I look out then to the ground and see gas flowing down the driveway. Again, the car was spitting gas from the engine. THIS IS IT FOR ME!!! Towing it back with no reimbursement and cashing out... PLEASE. PLEASE! PLEASE!!! Don't put yourself thru this. I go in and tell them what I want and all they do is try to upsell or sell me something completely different. After talking to my brother and him telling me how much he loves his Mazda I did some research and decided I wanted a Mazda CX. I stumbled into Turnersville Mazda and it was one of the best decisions I've ever made. The whole team there, Harper, Bob, Mark and Jerry made everything so simple and were a pleasure to work with. I told them the car I was interested in and they got me exactly that. I came in and test drove it and decided this is the car I want. We corresponded via email and worked out a price.     Been going here for over 10 years. Had a service appointment for a synthetic oil change and tire…read morerotation. Provided a coupon for the "synthetic oil change" and tire rotation. After waiting almost 2 hours for completion, I was informed it was done. Coupon was not initially applied but then corrected. Paperwork noted a conventional oil change and then when I questioned the service rep Chuck, he stated that their conventional is what is recommended for my vehicle despite me requesting synthetic and that their conventional is actually synthetic. I went in to the waiting room and observed the conventional bottle did not say such. Chuck then looked at my history and observed I only get synthetic every time. He asked for my keys to correct the oil, drives the vehicle where I believe to the rear of the building,and I get my vehicle about 10 minutes later. He stated the oil was changed and that they did not change the sticker to reflect that but to go by what the sticker says which is 3000 miles but 5000 is always noted with synthetic. I do not feel confident I received the appropriate care and that conventional still sits in my engine due to the speed of the "2nd" change without appropriate documentation. Going to have to get another oil change somewhere else.

    5-Star Redemption -- From Frustration to First-Class Resolution…read more UPDATED : 2/14/2026 Following my original review regarding the repeat suspension issues, I wanted to provide a fair -- and now very positive -- update after picking up the vehicle. Dylan from Corporate reached out personally to assure me I was a valued customer and that they'd be working behind the scenes to drive a proper resolution. That outreach immediately reset the tone. Shop Manager Ron walked me through the diagnosis in detail, and Service Manager Brandan along with mechanic Joe were hands-on in identifying and correcting the issue after test driving the car with me. I'm thrilled to report the repair now feels absolutely dialed in. Ride and handling are fully restored -- and at 161K miles, the car drives as good, if not better, than when I bought it at 16K. That's no small feat. Kudos to the mechanics for truly knocking this one out of the park. As a courtesy for the difficulties, Auto Lenders absorbed the cost of the additional parts, labor, and required alignment -- a resolution that was both generous and greatly appreciated. I also want to recognize the corporate team for stepping in and putting customer satisfaction into real, meaningful action. As an entity, Auto Lenders proved to be more than the sum of its parts. They didn't just address the problem -- they exceeded my expectations at every turn in making this right. Because of how this was ultimately handled, I'm confident updating this experience to a full 5-star rating. This was a true redemption and a strong example of standing behind both the work and the customer.

    Three attempts and three failures…read more First car was indicated as a test vehicle on the windows sticker. They said they didnt want to sell it and it went to auction. When it came time for me to trade in my 72k mile Infiniti G37x Coupe and switch up to another AWD vehicle, this time a Nissan Murano...I found plenty to choose from in all trim levels in near new condition. I hated to part with my 330 HP little speed demon Infiniti G, but it was time! CarMax gave me a great deal on the trade-in and excellent financing on the Murano. Steve Southall was the salesman and he made the whole process easy, quick, and simple from start to finish! I spent more time on the lot looking than I did with him! He was knowledgeable, friendly, and courteous, even though I was a little anxious and a bit amped up as I usually get when making ANY new or used car purchase (It's not like you make a big purchase like this every day! LOL!) Unlike other big-name used car dealers, there was NO pressure to purchase their warranty, plus they give you plenty of time to shop in their lot - no one approaches you until you go inside to inquire about a vehicle. I'm considering keeping what I have and purchasing a 2nd car and I'll keep CarMax on my list of places to shop (If they have what I'm looking for).
