Been driving hand me down family cars for the last 17 years because I've heard how dreadful dealing with dealerships can be. After my parked car got totaled I decided it's time to buy a new ish car. After several dealerships I realized why everyone complains about the process. I go in and tell them what I want and all they do is try to upsell or sell me something completely different. After talking to my brother and him telling me how much he loves his Mazda I did some research and decided I wanted a Mazda CX. I stumbled into Turnersville Mazda and it was one of the best decisions I've ever made. The whole team there, Harper, Bob, Mark and Jerry made everything so simple and were a pleasure to work with. I told them the car I was interested in and they got me exactly that. I came in and test drove it and decided this is the car I want. We corresponded via email and worked out a price. Went to drop off a car for service, needed an appointment, we didn't make one, fine. Made one, took the car back, dealership claims we never made an appointment. Called them in front of the employee and confirmed we did have an appointment. Still refused to take the car in. Called again to make another appointment, people on the phone saying "oh you had an appointment, why didn't you bring the car in on that day?" You've gotta be kidding me. Took the car in again for the third time, now being told there's still no appointment and next one isn't until the 30th. This was 2 weeks ago. You might as well just fire everyone here, it's obvious nobody cares about a thing here. Super simple issue that would take a max of 2 hours to resolve and not only are they refusing easy business, nobody cares enough to wonder "hey, why is this guy here for the third time saying he has an appointment each time, maybe we should look into this." I took my car there for routine service recently. I had an 830am appointment but my car was never worked on all day. Since they close at 5, I got a ride there at 4 thinking it would be ready soon. They had not even began working on it. They asked if I would wait 40 minutes for it to get done. What choice did I have. I had set up the appointment months before. I dropped it off there at 830 and went to do other things instead of waiting and I had to wait anyway! The worst part is that they did not even offer an kind of service recovery for giving bad service. Not a car wash ticket, not a discount for the service, not even an air freshener. They did not care about a customer who was forced to wait after giving them the car for 7 hours. If I had not come up there, I do not think they would have worked on it. Every time I have had to come to this specific service center I have not had an overall great experience. A couple of weeks ago I had to bring my car in for a dead battery and Pat was extremely rude. I have communicated with him before and his way of communicating isn't pleasant. While just asking some basic questions in regards to my car he seemed to be very annoyed. Due to this being a reoccurring thing, I figured leaving a review was my best bet. I'm not even a person to leave reviews in general. What I do know for sure is that once my lease is done with this car, I'm done with Mazda vehicles. Paying my money for a car where I can't get decent service when needed is not what I signed up for. While I understand that one person shouldn't be the end all be all for a situation, he is a pivotal point within this service department. read more

We had a great experience here purchasing our vehicle (about three years ago), and have been bringing it back for service ever since. The sales experience was probably the least painful we've had at a dealership, with knowledgeable staff, and not a lot of high pressure. It did take an incredible amount of time, but we still left in a pretty good mood, so we'll call it a win. All service has been done well. I recommend using the Turnersville location, as the Maple Shade one isn't always as fun to deal with. Overall a good option for buying and servicing a car. read more

My wife and I were recently in the market for a new Mazda CX5. We had planned to visit Turnersville Mazda as they are the closest dealership to us, but I noticed that a dealership a little further away was selling their CX5's for 3% below MSRP. I reached out to Turnersville to see if they would match or beat that price. I want to be clear that I have no qualms with Turnersville declining to match the price. The truth is, if their sales volume is such that they know they will be able to sell their inventory without working with me, more power to them. That is supply and demand after all. And if they had simply said that, I would have respected it. Instead, one of their business managers, Mukesh Asher, suggested that perhaps the other dealership was inflating their prices and discounting from the inflated price instead of MSRP, which I found to be incredibly insulting. STAY AWAY! Possible insurance fraud! If I could leave no stars I would! Traveled from Oklahoma to see family here. This incident made me miss work for 2 days. The worst dealership I have ever come across including Maple Mazda since it's the same owner. Astonished they are still in business! Has the worst communication with customer and insurance companies. Nothing would get done and there would be no updates provided unless customer calls repeatedly. Had to call insurance company to do Mazda's job for them notifying insurance company on updated damages. 8 days later for a job that should've taken a day to repair but maximum of 4 days including waiting on parts. and insurance company still doesn't have updated damages or paperwork. This dealership/owner named Pat is so rude and disrespectful threatening to tow our car due to us repeatedly calling since they were putting off fixing our car even though they said we are top priority but doesn't show it and gaslights. Has zero respect for military members as well. There is ZERO TRUST. Kept saying they would get it done earlier and take care of it but had excuses to why getting it fixed was delayed such as "they don't have time with booked appointments". Miraculously they got the car fixed in same day after arguing how long it took after they tried saying they didn't have time and should get it done the next day even though they said they were booked with appointments the next day. Overcharged labor rates 215 dollars an hour. Went to the dealership to get it repaired somewhere else and look at previous parts that got replaced the dealership claimed was "sheered" then "shattered" even though the part had only a few scratches. The new trustworthy repair shop said the part does not look damaged enough to be replaced at all and the dealership was causing more unnecessary damages and separated parts that had to have been hammered to be removed. Never got notified when car was put together and they wanted to keep the car longer claiming more damages. When getting the car back there was a dash camera set up that they ripped out and left hanging over passenger side assuming they didn't want to be recorded even though the dash camera is always unplugged to not drain car battery. There was no reason for it to be ripped out. Also, when leaving the dealership the desk lady named Juanita wanted us to sign paperwork without letting us have copies and immediately pulled the paperwork away saying nevermind you don't need to sign this when wanting to review it. Finally, she refused to hand over all copies of paperwork pertaining to the car repairs. read more

So I have a 2016 Mazda CX-5. I usually go to maple shade Mazda but they didn't have any slots available for the day I needed. I took my car for service in August at the location and was told my rear brakes were at 3 and needed to be replaced soon and my front were 6. As well as my tires needed to be replaced. Tires I just bought last September so I was like I don't need tires but maybe brakes. Being that I drive for work a lot I wanted to make sure I get this taken care of. So I called to see what the price was and they said $500 flat. I questioned it so I called Triple AAA for their price and it's cheaper 390. So I went there. I get there and they check my brakes before doing any work. They said your rear at 5 and front are at 7. Why lie to your customers. I WILL NEVER TAKE MY VEHICLE TO MAZDA TURNERSVILLE. Lied about what was wrong with my car. Took my 2018 Mazda 3 in shop because of a blown transmission( warranty covered it). I was then told that my front right wheel bearing was bad with only 32k miles on the car.... ended up arguing with them a bit but he told me either pay $450 to fix right now while my car is in shop for warranty repairs or $650 after... I ended up taking it to a few local mechanic that told me that my car is in perfect shape after the warranty repairs.. except that they messed up my alignment. Long story short, they put defective wheel bearing on my car to show me that they need to be replaced but after I left and got them checked.. turned out my stuff is pretty much new still.. they lie through their teeth to get money out of you. read more

I took my car 4 different times because of a car shaking that had 20 miles on it and I get told it's because I put premium gas... then I put regular because I was told to and guess what the car still shakes then I get told I have to do 2 full fill ups and it should be fine guess what it still did it. When I bought my car. I did my research online. I wanted the car before I even got to the lot. It may not be the last Mazda I own, but it's the last Mazda from this dealership I will own. My salesman was very nice (I believe his name was Steve, I bought my car there a couple years ago) When I bought my car I had to take it back several times because the front driver's side tire kept losing air. I was given every excuse under-the-sun as to what it was. I fought with this stupid tire for over a year, going back and forth to the service department. Finally I took my car to a NISSAN dealer and have to have a valve replaced.... that I had been told was already replaced by Turnersville Mazda. Needless to say, AFTER I took my car to the Nissan dealer... my tire's been fine. Flash forward a couple months and I get a recall notice in the mail. I called to schedule my appointment to have my car fixed (you know nothing important - just the front rocker arms rust out... you know.. they just hold the weight of the car and what not). So I try and explain to the girl answering the phone I work on the other side of S-NJ and have a Dr appointment. I wanted to know if I could use a loner car to go 2.5 miles to a doctor appointment and come right back. Her reply was "No. You'll have to come in a different day. We don't do loner cars" So I wrote an email to them and a guy called me back and then proceeded to tell me he'd schedule my service and a loaner car for that day. So I go in on the scheduled day to have my car fixed and guess what?! I wasn't in the computer. After several minutes I told the guy exactly who I spoke to, what day and what time (I had the notes saved in my calendar) they got me set up with a loaner car. While I was waiting for my loaner I look down, and see the schedule because they leave the schedule on the counter, with names, addresses, phone numbers and what they're coming in for. There where about 4 people on the front page getting OIL CHANGES - that they were giving out loaner cars for. I had to fight to get a LOANER TO GO DOWN THE STREET!!!!!!!!! So after all this hulla-bah-loo with the loaner car.. turns out they had to keep my car anyway. Now I have a CX-9 (seats 7) with 2 car seats in the back and I was given a Mazda 3 hatchback. WTH?! Ok... I can deal with that for a couple of days like I was told. (brought it in on mon. was told my car would be ready by thurs. the latest) It's now monday and I'm told my car is not ready, because they don't even have the parts. I've already smacked my head on this tiny little car and now I'm going to have to deal with it for at least another week. They really couldn't have given me something comparable to what I had? TURNERSVILLE MAZDA was very disappointing. I went there for service (engine light) in May 2020. When I dropped the car off the mechanic spoke to me and began telling me how turbos can be costly and problematic. I Should have left then. When ppl begin talking about the repair costing a lot before they even see your vehicle it's not a good sign. Long story short. They charged me over $150 to tell me the the same thing I told them when I brought it in (random misfire). When I returned a few days later (light on again) they said it would cost me 144 to even look at it. Needless to say I left. I WAS a Mazda fan. I'm not so sure anymore. read more

Please read to see how Mazda put my son's life in jeopardy: Turnersville Mazda sent my son home with his car after a scheduled maintenance appointment. 10 minutes after leaving the location while he was driving, the hood of his car flew open and smashed his windshield, destroying the front of his car and blinding him while driving on a highway. He had gotten into a fender bender a few days prior and Mazda deemed the car unsafe to drive and suggested that we have it repaired before driving. However, NONE of this information was shared with my son and Mazda let him drive away without a word about the car being UNSAFE to drive. When my husband called Mazda to explain the situation, the service manager admitted that it was "an oversight on [his] part." Luckily, my son was not injured, nor did anyone else get injured, but his car has thousands of dollars of damage because of the manager's negligence, or in his words: "oversight". For ten days, we have been calling Robert Dimmerman, the president of Maple Shade-Turnersville Mazda, on the matter and he has yet to return our calls. Today when I called, the receptionist told me that she just transferred another call to him, but could not transfer my call. I called an hour later and he was conveniently out of his office. I asked for him to call me back and he has not. We have been dealing with this situation for over 2 weeks, this is just a shortened version of them denying any responsibility. read more

I am so appalled by my experience here that I had to write this as soon as I left AND we told people pulling up not to waste their time! My friend is seriously looking to buy a car THIS weekend. She even took off of work to look! We pulled up, got out of the car and walked over to the 2015 Mazda3s. The sales came out, and weakly shook our hands. He told us the 2015s weren't even worth looking at and that we should go see the 2014s. Okay, thank you. My friend asked where the 2014s were, and his response was, "I don't know. Everywhere." Great, you work here and don't know where your cars are. And there aren't even many there. We walked over to the other side of the dealership, and my friend saw one she liked. She asked him if she could sit in it and he responded with, "If you come inside, I can get you information because you're just wasting your time." We're just wasting out time? Yeah, i guess we are talking to you. He was acting like we were interrupting his day and inconveniencing him the whole Time. So we looked at other ones while he was in there getting the keys and when he came out, we walked over to the car and my friend got in the driver's seat while I tried to get in the passenger's. He CLEARLY sees me trying to open the door and wasn't saying or doing anything, so I asked my friend to unlock the door and it still wasn't opening. He smirks and finally tells us something about the fuses and that the only way we could test drive the car is if we BUY the car. Literally, sign the papers and take it for a spin to "make sure" it's okay. WHAT?! You mean, after I buy the car and am locked in, THEN I can test it? We both got out of the car and said, "Nope, no thanks." He grabbed the keys and said, "Have a nice day." WOW! I can't even believe it. This is the third dealership we've been to and the WORST customer experience we've gotten. Actually, this is the worst customer service I've personally received EVER. EVER! I went to this dealer with interest in a Mazda Speed 3. I met with a salesman who's name I can not remember but he was incredibly nice. He answered all of my questions, was knowledgable about the car, let me take it for a test drive. When we got back to the dealership to talk about money, warranty and the like is when it all went down hill. The salesman informed me they do free oil changes if I buy the car there, which is great. This reminded me to ask about how the warranty would be affected if I were to change the oil myself. The reason I needed to know was I am a busy person with limited free time and with that little free time I can not spend it sitting at a car dealership waiting for them to do it, I do it myself. The salesman said he would find out. This is when the sales manager, Brian Golin got involved. He seemed really, lets call it "butt hurt" about the whole thing. He tries to wow me with "but it's free!" and I explained it's not a matter of cost, it's a matter of time. I said maybe I should have asked earlier, but when car shopping details are things you find out after you find a car you like. This is when it really hit the fan. The sales manager got more "butt hurt" that I test drove the vehicle and now I didn't want to buy it. He goes on about how it's the only one they have and I just took it for a ride, putting miles on it. I put five or six miles on it at best, and it already had twenty seven when I got in it. He offered to sell me at what he referred to as "basically at cost", which is great. I didn't beat on the car, I didn't speed. I asked if he'd like me to write him a check for $100 to cover the "major expense" of me test driving the vehicle, which he declined. Once they got my car in for service they kept saying there is no update for the car even though after going to another dealer there was. And when it came to my original issue which was vibration in steering they couldn't do anything cause he said his force road machine has been down for weeks. So without it they can't do there job or figure out how to trouble shoot without it. Sent me away with nothing fixed and they didn't care. Everyone there was like oh well. DO NOT USE THEIR BODY SHOP! I took my car once to get work done and it was great...Mazda was paying for that work. The second time I took the car was an insurance claim. They rushed through the work and the paint is a terrible mismatch. They claim it's not their fault because another body shop had used paint that was a shade too dark in an area close by the bumper. Regardless, a good body shop will match to the color that's on the car, not just paint the car with the formula they think it should be and hope it matches. Terrible quality, terrible customer service... and I would never recommend them to anyone. read more

I recently visited Maple Shade Mazda in Turnersville and after showing interest in a particular vehicle, I asked the sales person to determine the best price based on paying cash. He consulted with the sales manager and came back with a rather unprofessional looking sheet of paper that had a price written in large green marker pen, followed by the words "today only". I explained to him that I was not in a position to make a commitment at that moment as I needed to consult with my wife, and to bring her back so that together we could take a test drive. I even asked this gentleman which days he worked so that I could coincide my return with him being there. At this point the sales manager (I did not get his name) approached and abruptly took over the conversation indicating that the price quoted was for that day only, and so to be sure I asked him if I came back the next day would he not consider giving me the same price and his answer was "absolutely not". Needless to say, I got up and walked out. I am glad I did because i subsequently found numerous websites with unhappy reviews from customers. In fairness I wrote an e-mail to Mr. Dimmerman to bring this issue to his attention and to this day he has not responded. This speaks volumes about the poor service they provide. read more

Turnersville Mazda was very rude to me. I'm 26 making $90,000 a year with a credit score of 700 and they told me up until their manager came out that my parents would have to cosign. When I test drove the week before my salesman told me they could do as well as 1.9% on my APR for 60 month financing if I qualified. When I came in to buy they started negotiations with an APR of 3.9% and the same salesman denied he would ever say such a thing!!! I brought a friend who's good at this kind of thing and we talked them down to 1.9% by threatening to walk (So yes, they can do it. Don't take no for an answer). I was there haggling for an excruciating 3.5 hours, and because of that I came away with a decent deal. The most awful part is that I was hit by another driver 10 days later and my new car was totaled. I wanted another 2014 Mazda3 because I was unharmed in that serious accident and considered myself very lucky. But I would NEVER deal with Turnersville/Maple Shade again. I got online quotes, and Faulkner Mazda beat their price by $500 and offered me 1.9% APR without argument just a few short weeks later. They couldn't believe I was ever offered anything else. (Plus, I am now a Mazda loyalty customer and got $750 off for that!) I was in and out in under 2 hours and they were ridiculously pleasant to deal with as far as salesman go! Plus, they mailed me my plates instead of making me come back to pick them up. And they had a bigger "buyer group" so they were able to get me the color I really wanted. I wouldn't waste your time at Turnersville. Get an online quote from a competing dealership. Save yourself the money, time, and aggravation. read more

In looking for a new vehicle I was very interested in the new CX-5. Went with my wife to look. The Salesperson I initially dealt with was very nice and explained all the features of the car and their free oil changes etc. that went with a purchase. A few days later I was going to be nearby and asked if sales person was there. I was interested in the car and wanted to know what they would give me in trade. Got another salesperson. He was all about what did I want to know about the car, had I driven it, repointed out many of the features. I expected to be there for about 15 minutes it was now about one hour and I was tired of listening to him. I asked how long it takes to appraise a car and he went to check. When he return he gave me the figure and asked when I wanted to pick it up. At this point I said what would be their best offer on the car, would they take any money of list price, raise the amount for my car. What I got was "If your not going to buy it now why should I make a better offer" that was it for me. I did buy another vehicle from a dealer who at least listened to me and offered information with no High Pressure. Really surprised that in this economy they treat customers in this manor. I went to Mazda Turnersville to see and test drive the CX-5 last Saturday. I had a great salesman Mukesh. My husband and I explained that I was the decision maker and he was along for the ride. Mukesh explained all the features of the car and talked to me about what I was looking for. I test drove the car and we talked about money. I said I needed to figure out my fiances. Mukesh said he wouldn't call me and if I wanted the car I should reach out to him. We left and talked about the car and I planned to return and purchase the car the following Saturday. A few days passed and Mark the customer service rep called twice to follow up. Both times he asked for my husband by name to ask about 'his' experience. My husband and I called Mazda Turnersville to complain about the sexist phone calls And John, the new car sales manager said it was nothing, just a mistake. I asked why they would ask for my husband when I had clearly stated I would be purchasing?. He said it was nothing.....maybe nothing to them, I'm looking for a different dealer. read more

My first concern was when I asked what Steve Taylor's email was (this was when I initially contacted them). His response was "why do you need my email?" Eventually he gave me a generic dealer email "ads@..." Against my better judgment, I went in without negotiating the car upfront via email. Since I had a trade, I needed to find out what numbers we were talking about on that first. Now I did my research and had a spreadsheet with the average across seven online trade-in calculators. Additionally, I had taken the vehicle for the 20,000 mile service the night before and gotten a trade-in value from them also. So I was very in-tune with what was reasonable. He pressed me for the amount that I owed and while I didn't provide it immediately, eventually I conceded and gave it to him. So everything was going reasonably, UNTIL he came back with the pricing worksheet. First, the car was above invoice which he justified as "we're only a few hundred more than invoice, the cost we pay for the car." I dismissed that with "you may be able to tell that to someone who doesn't understand how you make money, but that isn't me." I was less concerned with that though, as you have to start somewhere when you are negotiating on price. The BIG issue was this, they only offered $15,500 for my trade, a 2013 Toyota Camry XLE in excellent condition (Toyota dealer's words) with 22,000 miles. As mentioned, my research online indicated an average of $18,000-$19,000 trade-in and Toyota confirmed that they would offer in that neighborhood should I trade-in on a new vehicle. So that is what I focused on, "why is your trade-in cost so low?" He said we checked the auctions and we can get your vehicle for $15,500 all day long with less miles. Anyway, my response was, "well this is a deal breaker because even if you had a great price on the new vehicle, you are so far away on the trade that there is no way we are going to be able to get to a reasonable number." His response, "well I'm sure I can get a few hundred dollars more." I chuckled and said, "I'm sorry time was wasted, but we are not going to be able to make a deal." When I tried to take the sell sheet he had prepared, he jumped at me and said "you can't take that, that's ours. You can't use our sheet to negotiate with another dealer." Honestly, that was not the intent. I wanted to have proof to show others how pathetic of an offer they had made. At the end of the day, I will buy the car and not from them. They lost the sale, which was all but guaranteed. I'm in sales myself and you have to be pretty pathetic to lose a slam dunk. Given the foregoing, I cannot recommend these folks. I know every circumstance is different but it seems the commonality is trade-ins. If you have a trade, perhaps there is a better Mazda dealer out there. If you are just negotiating the price for the vehicle, you may still have success. In my situation, there was just no way to make up for the low trade-in offer, so I walked out - a bit perturbed too because I expected to drive out with a new car. Quite a disappointment that could have easily been a great deal for both of us had the salesperson come to the table up-front with workable numbers. I was annoyed that the trade amount they offered plus the $750 trade-in offer Mazda was running was strikingly similar to how much I owed. Coincide? You decide. I've already been in contact with another Mazda dealer and they are procuring the vehicle for me with reasonable terms, so all is not lost, but I did have to waste a couple hours of my life (45 mins there, 30 mins sitting there, 45 minutes home). the WORST ever customer service. called in for an appt and a loaner car and they were very rude. Couldn't get me in until a week from today for a loaner car. this is the second time I am bringing my car in for a wheel bearing problem. I asked them how I would get to work because my car is not drivable...the lady proceeds to tell me that I'm a grown woman and I can figure that out for myself...do I want the appt or not...nice....very nice....I booked the appt and she hung up on me.....sweet as apple pie!!!!! read more
