If you want to be treated with respect, do not walk into Auto Lenders of Voorhees. This was easily the worst, most unprofessional automotive experience of my life, which ironically pushed me to go have the best experience of my life at a completely different dealership. My girlfriend and I drove to the Voorhees location to look at a silver Honda Civic. We called ahead, and customer care assured us the car would be pulled up and ready. It wasn't. When we walked in, we met a salesman named Frank. I am a pleasant guy and like to make jokes, so I playfully teased him that they were "0 for 1" since the car wasn't out front. Instead of basic customer service, Frank immediately copped an attitude. He left to check his system, came back, and angrily told me the car was currently on a test drive (even though it was still parked right out front). He then loudly announced in front of the entire showroom and my girlfriend that they had run my credit and I "couldn't even afford the car." Here is the insane part: I never gave them my information to run a credit check. We were buying the car in cash with a certified check and didn't even need financing. Frank had mixed me up with another customer and was publicly humiliating me over someone else's credit score. When I realized his mistake, he offered zero apologies, called me a "cocky kid," and told me to leave. I demanded a manager, Lou, who switched us to a new salesman two cubicles down. While we waited, Frank actually called another salesman over, and they stood there whispering and pointing at us with a smirk on his face. It was so incredibly unwelcoming and childish that we got up and left. The regional director, Brian, called to apologize and set me up at their Williamstown location the next day to look at a black Civic instead. We agreed on a price of $29,382 (after I caught them trying to sneak in a $299 window-etching fee). I told the saleswoman, Nor, that I was driving back to PA to get the cashier's check and handle the insurance switch, and would be back by 4:00 PM. By 2:00 PM, she was texting and calling, trying to pressure me. When I told her not to rush me, she threatened to move the car to another location in Haverford Township just to force my hand. I was completely done with the high-pressure, disrespectful games at Auto Lenders. I took my family's advice and drove straight to Piazza Honda of Springfield. I worked with their sales manager, Frank Crinite, who treated us like absolute gold. The ultimate punchline for Auto Lenders? I walked out of Honda of Springfield with a BRAND NEW 2026 Honda Civic Sport for $30,005. I spent barely $630 more to get a brand-new car rather than dealing with the miserable, disrespectful staff at Auto Lenders trying to hustle me for a 3-year-old 2023 model. The experience not good at all. I was over priced, and than the bank this place use went up on my note after 6 month they broke the contract. If I would have broken contract they would have said you can't do that. Then got nurse to call me asking me to trade in I just purchased vehicle in 2023. AutoLenders Williamstown window etch scam We just bought a car from auto lenders I love the no haggle pricing... and the salesman was nice enough... But I'm just putting a warning out there for any of you buying a car To really question when they add on $199 for a VIN window etch - I was told by the finance manager it was mandatory and that it would provide me with a discount on my auto insurance . I just got off the phone with State Farm and they told me that is completely not true . A Google search tells me that The "window etch scam" by car dealers involves dealers adding a VIN etching service to a vehicle's price at a highly inflated cost, often claiming it is a mandatory theft deterrent or insurance discount. The service is often sold for hundreds of dollars, though the actual cost is minimal, and it may be added to the contract without the buyer's consent. To avoid this, be aware that window etching is optional, and you can refuse it or ask the dealer to remove it. read more

Great experience! My first salesperson was John R, and he was patient, kind, personable, and courteous, never pushy. I made several trips to the Williamstown location after seeing various vehicles on the website that I wanted to test drive. They would get them delivered from the other locations within the day. John was not working the day I wanted to make a purchase, so Derrick jumped in to assist. Like John, he was patient, kind, professional, etc. Never rushed me, never pushed me. My experience of the negligence & incompetence at Auto Lenders 7/30/24- Auto lenders of Williamstown had the exact make and model of a car I was looking for so I made an appointment to go see it. Ross was my sales person, who seemed to be good to work with at first, also I had a close family friend who was connected with him so I felt like I was in good trustworthy hands. Despite that, Ross became impatient and pushy when I was taking the time to go over the numbers and asking questions about certain fees. He even brought the finance manager over and rudely asked 'what don't you understand', while I was still rightfully taking my time to calculate and readjust numbers. I also noticed how Ross has a habit of talking over his clients in an overpowering tone of voice. I proceeded to make the purchase of a 2021 Toyota Sienna that same night and Ross proceeded to move some of my belongings (without my permission) from my old car into my new car. I felt rushed as it was after hours at that point and ended up forgetting a pair of $500 sunglasses in the holder of my old car. My car left for auction less than a day before I realized this and they did nothing to try to get these back. It doesn't stop there, the very next day I notice that the van is filthy, cup holders have drink stains and there is dog hair and coffee stains between the seats, clearly they didn't clean the car. I wasn't going to even mention any of this until I stumbled upon what appeared to be a dead bed bug behind the drivers seat on the floor. I immediately called them and complained, this was on a Saturday afternoon and it was just past the 3-day cancellation as a bought the car Tuesday evening. At the time, Ross was very responsive and said they will do whatever it takes to get this issue resolved such as bomb the car and detail it as well. He even said the guys are professional exterminators and they do this all the time and he has seen it all. I'm thinking, ok great! Ross said the managers were away but he is going to work something out to make up for the inconvenience of all of this and also now me being without a car from Saturday - Tuesday. Tuesday comes and my car is finally ready, I'm excited and ready to pick up my bug-free clean car. I go and grab my keys from Ross, he rudely shakes my hand and look the other way. Then I discover that they didn't clean anything! Everything was exactly how it appeared when I dropped it off, filthy!!! I showed Ross and he said they cleaned it but they are not professional detailers. Excuse me???? This is a car dealership and you're telling me that they don't have the tools to properly clean a car but they have the tools to exterminate it. The entire time he's talking to me he's basically looking away and offers for me to bring the car back for them to clean it again. At this point, I'm not even sure if I can believe they've done anything to the car as it appears nothing was even done. Since leaving that evening, not only have I heard a word from anyone at Auto Lenders, On top of everything, my temp tags EXPIRED 8/28/24 - I called on 8/30/24 and spoke with Derek, I expressed how unhappy with my experience I was and now I'm driving around illegally, he checked on my tags and said that they are not ready but he would reach out to the title department and call me right back. Derek never called me back, nor have I heard from anyone regarding my tags and it's now late afternoon on September 3rd. read more

Had a great experience purchasing a pre-owned car recently. Mike D. was our sales rep. There was no pressure by Mike or the staff. We looked at 2 cars at the Williamstown location, but also had interested in two others at the Princeton location. AutoLenders said they could transport, at no cost, the other two from Princeton to Williamstown so we could take a look at them the next day. By the time my wife and I came back the next day, one of the two was sold (which makes sense since my research showed it was listed at a "great price" by KBB...only 1.8% over the Fair Market Range min price). We test drove all three. Mike was right up front that one had a dead battery because it had not been test driven in a few days during the recent cold snap (he gave us a heads up as not to stop somewhere and turn off the engine, otherwise, we might come back to an undriveable car). We appreciated the heads up. He then went on to explain if we chose to purchase this vehicle and there was an issue with the battery, they would replace it at no cost. We had no issues with the battery. In showing my researched pricing, there was some room for negotiation and we ended up making a purchase within the KBB FairMarketRange. Mike explained all the purchase options in easy to understand terms ("cash", loan, combo of down payment and loan, option to put some down on a credit card). We ran into a snag when I forgot to unfreeze my credit with the three major credit agencies prior to coming in, and Mike came up with an alternative solution that worked for my wife and me. The finance rep explained all "out the door" documents including title/registration, base warranty (including what is, and what is not, covered), extended warranty option (they offer it, but do not push it) and the terms of the loan. Their monthly payment was within $1 of my calculations so I had another level of confidence we were NOT being taken advantage of. The dealership finance rate was a little high compared to other loan options (and why I gave a "good" rating instead of a "great rating", but we most likely will be paying off the loan early (with no penalty) so that will not matter. More than likely, we will be using AutoLenders again in the future. read more

Horrible experience. Still waiting for a price for 2 rear tires from "Scott." It has been 1 week now. I called 4 times looking for Scott, left message for Scott, "Tiffany" called me back not Scott. Scott sent me a text previously to call him. Scott is not in. "Gretchen" told me I need to call back bc Scott is not in today. WOW The price is outrageous if indeed it is the correct price. Over $350. for 2 rear tires??? I have bumper to bumper coverage. No one EVER called me to tell me the price before they replaced the tires. Not a good business plan. It is all over the place. No point of contact. They smile and then serve you a huge bill without ever communicating what the cost will be, through the entire process. I never agreed to $350 + for 2 rear tires!!!! I purchased a car in April 2019 - between April and Aug my battery died 4 times. My wipers on the front and back both needed to be replaced shortly after purchase (failed inspection - bought in NJ needed to pay for a PA inspection just after purchase) battery in key died within 3 months. In addition to all of this, I had contacted their offices multiple times. I would get a response, promising "xyz" but nothing would happen unless I sent a follow up email each and every time, with each and every issue - reimbursement for the battery, new batteries for the key, reimbursement for the wipers (note they only gave me $20 for front wipers only!) Communication went from April 2019-Feb 2020 to finally get resolved and would have never gotten resolved if I did not follow up on their promises. I've always done certified pre-owned through dealerships in the past and will go back to that on my next purchase. Even when finally receiving a call in Dec I kept getting the scripted sounding answer of "I understand, but..." and he blamed it on the holidays.... that doesn't work when the problem started in April. Absolutely terrible - don't care about their customers - and are selling cars with issues and they know it and ignore you when you bring it up. read more

Purchased a vehicle from Colin in September. Came and test drove a sedan one day but decided I wanted a hatchback so I called an auto lenders in PA to set an appointment. Within 5 minutes of making the appointment in PA, I get a call that they will deliver the car from PA to NJ. I thought that was great. I asked for some minor repairs be done to the vehicle and it was agreed that the repairs would be done at the auto lenders service center about 40 minutes from my house. A bit annoying but okay. For a simple fender adjustment it took me multiple visits for them to complete the job. They tried to pass it off the first time and nothing had been done. On the second trip to the dealer they lost my keys. Yes, you read that correctly. I had to drive 40 minutes just to get them the extra key in order to complete the repair. When I went to pick the vehicle up, the battery was dead and I had to wait another 30 minutes for that to be corrected. I was annoyed but decided to move on from it. What happens today takes the cake. While driving on route 55 I had a tire blow out. I pulled over to put on the spare to discover that the rims had lug nut locks on them that require a special key. I ripped the entire car apart to realize these idiots sold me a $23k car without checking to make sure they had the lug nug key in. Their solution to the dilemma that THEY caused was for me to wait 90 minutes for a tow provided by the insurance I paid for. The "manager" from the Williamstown dealership accused me of misplacing the key. And he later simply said "you're lucky you got the insurance, this has happened to other people and they have had to pay." In short, AutoLenders has been incompetent in every step of the way since purchasing my vehicle from then. From trying to pass off an incomplete repair as complete, losing my keys at the service center and neglecting to do something so simple as to make sure a lug nut key was included in their sale. They offered no solution or attempt to even apologize. I will simply never purchase from them again and tell everyone I had about this awful (ongoing) experience. The salesman and assistant manager refused to negotiate in good faith and insisted that I MUST finance the vehicle. After visiting the typical used car lot, I purposely went to Auto Lenders last because I knew from my husband that buying a previously owned vehicle at this establishment would be different, and I was right. Even my son noticed the difference because they spoke to him (not just me) as a buyer, let him test drive the vehicles, and we're interested in what he had to say. Good - Sales rep Manny Fernandez was a no pressure sales agent. He was very easy to deal with when buying our vehicle. Bad - As part of the sales agreement, AutoLenders agreed to install a rear entertainment system with DVD player. We wanted the rear entertainment, but did advise them that we live close to an hour away from the closest service center. The manager agreed to do a pick-up and drop-off of the vehicle so that I did not have to waste our own time. When the rear entertainment system was ready to be installed, the service center would only offer me a loaner car. I finally gave in and took the loaner car as I did not feel like fighting over it. The install took two days and Auto Lenders ended up only covering the some of the rental car and not the insurance. Now, I am out close to $30. I called and asked to be reimbursed and they said no. For a company that prides itself on the customer experience, my experience was nothing special. Update: After writing my review, I am happy to report that Mike from the corporate office reached out to make right on this situation. I appreciate his promptness in handling everything. While I wish everything was completed as promised the first time, I do know that Auto Lenders cares about their reputation and wants to do right for their customers which I can appreciate. Firstly, I'd like to say a HUGE thank you to Ross, Craig and the owner for making my experience comfortable, very informative, hassle free and right to the point of business. This is my first car purchase and I had a TON of questions and fear from my month long experience in searching for my desired vehicle. They taught me knew information that I never was aware of and they went ABOVE and BEYOND to make me satisfied as a new customer and the vehicle that I chose (2014 Ford Focus Titanium hatchback) was under the Kelly Blue Book pricing. I got a genuine from all of the guys and they wanted to see me stress-free and excited for this experience. It truly meant a lot to me that they didn't show agitation and I spent a total of about 7-8 hours with the guys in 2 days and they followed up with me through email without hassling me but to just see how my decision making is going and if I had any questions for them or just information about how to go about purchasing a new car and what to look for. Ross set me up going over the basic information and common questions. Craig took care of the finances and an extended warranty that was just simply unbeatable. He also went of extensive information about the All-State packages and what it was that I was seeking. Reserved a car for a test drive for 08/14/18 on 08/11/18. As much as I wanted to test drive the car and possibly purchase it on 08/11/18, I was stuck at work during a 12-hour shift taking care of patients. One day before my scheduled test drive, I was informed that the car I was interested in was sold to one of their employees. I guess their own employees get priority over other customers. It took me a long time to find this specific car only to be disappointed and felt there was bias in selling the car to an employee. read more

Auto Lenders sold me a car with a weak battery that they would not replace, I had to do it after spending $11,000 on the car. Also the 6 cd changer does work, that would have been nice to know. You can't find out everything on a test drive so somethings should be noted. I didn't even ask them to fix that problem, thier policy on "safe and value" cars sucks, and they should call it "as is". I bought a Jeep Compass here which has no other problems but one, a bad tire. It make a loud noise over 40 mph. I called to get it replaced but I was told I would have to take it to Berlin Service and leave the car all day. (ALL DAY?) For one tire this is too much time and travel for me. I sent an email to the owner of Auto Lenders an never even got a response back. I rotated the tires and the noise followed the tire, proving it is a bad tire. The tread is good on the tire but it probably has a shifted belt. So now I just put up with the noise even if I can't hear anyone talking in the car. Thanks Auto Lenders for caring. read more

We bought 2 cars from them in maybe a month's time. All cash. I loved my Nissan Rogue..at first. But it's had so many problems since I bought it in October. Little things/big things that just shouldn't happen when you buy a CPO vehicle for $25,000+. Oil change, new air filter, new wipers needed IMMEDIATELY. A NEW BATTERY which caused time off work and 3 hours stranded. New rotors and breaks because the rotors were destroyed. They just called to remind me I'm due for an oil change. What? I've already had 2 since I got the car. So shady and sketchy. The buying experience isn't bad, but it's because they are masking their jenky cars. Service center is NO help. I shouldn't have had to pay for a dime of any of that. It literally makes my blood boil. Save yourself the aggravation in the months after and go somewhere else! I bought a car here in November 2015. I am still as in love with it today as I was the day that I bought it. Very pleasant experience. Any concern that I had even AFTER buying the car was addressed and taken care of-- no questions asked! (I noticed a few dents on the outside that I was not happy with-- and they were fixed by them at my convenience... my USED car now looks as good as NEW!). I was continuously told that they want me, the customer, to be satisfied and if there is anything that I am not happy with they will take care it. Unfortunately, I've had a few really bad experiences with Auto Lenders. When I bought my car, I felt like I was recommended a good car but it has depreciated quicker than I could have ever expected. It's been 3 years and I still owe $17,000 on a car that trades in for $9,000. I don't have the $8,000 difference to get out of it so I guess I'm stuck with this car for a while. I know that's not the fault of the dealership but there's nothing they can do to help me in a new car without extremely high payment and I was given poor guidance from the sales hungry rep. Also adding to this poor review is the fact that the car has had several problems leaking fluid and overheating as well as brakes locking up and other problems. For a newer car with less than 50,000 miles, I have way too many problems and it's no surprise that Auto Lenders makes great effort to make sure nothing is covered by their warranty some way or another. The day I get into a new car will be a great one and it won't be from Auto Lenders. I give them 2 stars over 1 star simply because if you get the right manager on the phone, past all the B.S., you can get them to take care of what's wrong with your car, just expect a headache to get that far. read more
