They of course made me feel so welcomed &' trusting but they had no place selling a shit car to a 19 year old girl, who's father was just in an extreme accident. Literally explained how badly I needed a reliable car to see him while he was in the hospital. Check engine light kept coming on and I'd ask them to please fix whatever was wrong to which they replied it was the oil being low ‍‍‍ how in the hell those are twoooo different lights AND codes and they knew that. They are just so Careless and even when I asked to switch cars they kept declining . They wanted nothing to do with me and finally the car took a huge shit . I'll never go here I would never recommend them , Karmas a bitch . And god don't like ugly .

Do not buy anything off Moe's lot, unless you want a headache, stress and aggravation. Bought an…read moreolder car that I was specifically searching for and found one here. Called before I went to be sure it was still on lot bc it is a 40 min drive. Yes, it was there with 90,000 miles at a price of $3500. Drove down, looked at car and son fell in love. Didn't start, flat tires, no working ready but, for $3500, can afford to put money into it. Was told if we purchased, they would put a new battery in that day. Great, let's sign. All of a sudden,, the car is now $4000 and needs to be financed bc didn't have the extra money. Finance fees were close to $500, so now we are at $4500 and not including taxes and tags. No problem, we signed with guaranteed inspection for emissions. Get home and found paperwork in car from previous 4 owners dating back to 2006 and as recent as 2016. All were registered with 90,000 miles. Uh oh, odometer fraud. Call Moe to let him know they need to do something about price bc we purchased a car for 4000 that had 90,000 miles and that isn't what we got. Tells is he will take 500.00 off our balance and fix the odometer. Scheduled to take car down next day(day after I bought) but when I started to drive, all my coolant poured out from somewhere. Moe towed it and they had it for almost 10 days with no communication what do ever. Finally call them and Allen (Mies son) tells me they changed all hoses and flushed system bc it sat so long and car is finished and can be picked up. Drive all the way down there and car isnt ready. Was told it was the battery while there and they put a new one in. Um, you supposedly put one in the day I bought it. While picking up a car that wasn't finished, they did adjust our payments and took off the 500 they said they would. Wa feeling ok at this point. Go next day to pick car up bc now it is finished, or so we thought. When we got there, they redid all our loan paperwork to reflect the sale price as 500.00 less. After they processed paperwork, vthe total came to $4100.00. Before they redid the paperwork, I owed less then when they redid it, but supposedly got that $500.00 off. Definitely paid for it in other ways. Anyways, they needed me to bring car back after having it so long bc the price they needed for odometer wasnt in yet. Finally, a week later part is in. Driving down there, the gas gauge malfunctioned and is stuck on full. He offered to fix it bc I was there but they arent touching what I'm not there for. Get the odometer fixed to drive home and check engine light come on. Now I failed inspection, so I call to schedule appt. 2 days later, haven't heard anything, so I call. Brenda tells me the mechanics can't clear the code and car isn't ready. You do know you have to fix it to clear a code, not just cut corners and pretend. Picked car up 2 days ago and Moe refused to fill out my inspection repair form. Idgaf if you arent a nj certified place, I follow rules and just want the paperwork. He tells me to tell them I fixed it myself, and I flipped. His little dog tried attacking me on way out as well. Guess what, check engine light came on not even 5 miles down the road. It wont be going back to them, even though they are responsible and won't cost me anything other than gas. Nope, never touching any of my cars. This car has been in their shop 5x since we purchased in Sept and still isnt right. I know it's used but it was supposed to at least run. I dont care if they guarantee inspection, they gave no clue how to repair a car bc here it is still having all the same issues it went in for. Oh, and not 1 single repair receipts for anything they said they did. I have reached out to NJ Consumer affairs and now they can deal with them instead of me.

It is now 2/9/24 and I still have not received the title, despite calling New Wave Auto multiple times. I called this morning (2/9) and was informed that the title was out for delivery. I did not receive the title in the mail, called back the business, and was finally provided the tracking number after requesting it three times. Upon review of tracking information, the title was NOT out for delivery, as communicated by the manager. I am now stuck with expiring temporary plates, and the manager refused to provide any guidance. Additionally, the check engine line came on within hours of driving the vehicle off of the lot. Please proceed with caution if you choose to do business with New Wave Auto.

I paid $4,500 for car, taxes and fees. Almost 6 months later the transmission needs replaced, the gas tank has a leak, front axle needs replaced, both control arms are bad, oil pan gasket leaking, rear of head leaking, valve cover gasket leaking, possible cam and crank seal leak and left front brake holding. I called to get some help because five different mechanics told me it was not worth fixing and I still have 11/2 years of $200 payment left on the car. I was told since I only put 6,000 miles on it in 6 months they were going to help me. I called repeatedly with no response. i finally got to speak to Chris who was sympathetic but said he did not tell secretary he was going to help me. He said it was an old car and things go wrong. Not this many things in a 6 month period. He told me maybe I can fix transmission first and do the other things a little at a time. Also I asked if timing belt had been replaced because that is an expensive repair and was told yes there is a sticker stating that but the mechanic I paid to look at car said there was no sticker. I had to sell my car yesterday for $500. I am very sad.
