He is a unique mechanic, as he has one of the cleanest shops Ive ever seen. Everything is a well oiled operation. Pun intended. He never repairs anything without a phone call explaining what is wrong and I appreciate the warning of short and long term repairs in the future. He always lets us know if a repair can wait or in need of immediate repair. He also gives you the removed part and shows you where the breakdown occurred. Butch makes you feel that when you leave his shop...your car has been thoroughly checked so you are safe to drive away. At time of payment, you receive a computer readout of each item that was checked and repaired and any fluids refilled or topped off. There is no question what was done and how long it took. It is all documented on a list to take home. We drive our cars until they die, and have had our cars over 17 years each with Butch as our mechanic. How often does someone also consider their mechanic a good honest friend. Please don't all rush to Butch's because we need our mechanic to be able to fit us in when things go wrong. From the moment we arrived to look at the cars, Hanna was there to answer every question and show us anything we were interested in. She was very polite, educated, well trained, and had everything covered. She did not pressure us on any vehicle and understood exactly what we were looking for. We did a few test drives with her and she demonstrated all the car features. She was very pleasant and listened to our feedback. A few weeks back, Hanna was with us for several hours as well and never made us feel like we were taking up her time. She assured us she gave us all the rebates and discount available for that model. There was no hidden fees and the numbers were accurate. She handle all the insurance changes and then set up all the apps online to use as one of the benefits of owning a Chevy. Disclaimer: not trying to bash a business or any specific employee but bring awareness to other…read morecustomers, as the same may happen to them due to a decline in service and skill provided by Valvoline. My dad got an oil change from Valvoline in EHT and unfortunately whoever performed the oil change did not properly change it. This resulted in a large amount of oil being spilled in the engine bay and subsequently soaking his alternator, causing it to fail the day after the service. When contacted and informed about the situation, they stated we should've initially brought in the car as is for them to further assess and assist. However, the car was not in a drivable condition and if we had not gone in ourselves to discover the large amount of spewed oil and soaked alternator, we could have not known the damage was from their oil change. We were offered an amount of free oil changes to rectify the situation, so a solution was presented, but obviously mistrust has grown and we will unfortunately no longer be using their services even after being long time customers. Please be aware when getting your car serviced there! One again this is not to bash the business or employees but bring awareness to customers, especially those who may not be car savvy and do not have the resources to fact check a business they instill their full trust in to provide quality service to their vehicles.
