I was leaving the area last Sunday around 12 when I hit a curb, resulting in a slice in my tire. we went to Mr. Tire in Absecon and met Rob. we explained that we had an appt in Annapolis Md at 5 pm. Rob took us in and replace the two front tires and had us back on the road quickly. service couldn't have been better. Rob is a great guy who did wonderful work quickly. 10/10 recommend. read more

Came here because our back tire started dropping air dramatically. They didn't have our tire in stock. They looked at the tires and suggested we get both rear tires fixed and get a wheel alignment And told us where we can go to get our situation fixed. They didn't charge us. That was very nice of them and it was very appreciated. read more

Mr. Tire Auto Service Centers - Tires Near Me - Absecon, New Jersey

Late on a Saturday afternoon I contacted three tire repair centers prior to deciding on Mr. Tire. I had a great experience at the Absecon Nj Mr Tire Auto Service Center. Rob Dodson, manager was very kind ,professional and customer service focused. The team tried to repair the tire but they were unable to due to where the damage was located. Rob ordered the tire and as promised I received a call from Rob at 9:15 am Monday. I was back on the road in no time! Thanks for the great service Rob and team! read more

Made an appointment to fix a slow leak on a tire. The guy tells me it's going to be 4 hours. I said 4 hours to fix a tire? He says well I'm not stopping my 5000 dollar job to fix a tire. You can come back or wait. I said neither. Got in my car and drove to the nearest pep boys literally within sight. Told them what I needed they said ok it will be an hour because you don't have an appointment. Reasonable. I'm not sure if it's because I'm a woman but that was ridiculous treatment especially with an appointment. Zero for customer treatment Mr.Tire! read more

First off DON'T go here when you call you get a call center probably in another country. What ever it's a big company so I made an appointment for an oil change he said it was 100$ but with rebate you save another 20. It never got that far because the owner or manager shouldn't be in customer service tells me it's 120 i don't know what you're talking about if you don't like it you can leave. I was leaving before he said that anyway. He should hang up his hang ups before he deals with customers. It's just better to deal with a company that answers their own calls and makes their own appointments. So DON'T go here there rude and customer service doesn't exist there. read more

I made an appointment for my vehicle 4 days before for engine maintenance light for today. I get to the Mr Tire before appointment time. I tell the the employee my car issue with my warning light. He berating me saying "You are here just a warning light, seriously?" He then refused to look at my vehicle. He said "He was alone and I have come back Monday." I said I am sorry you are alone. I stand there thinking he will make an appointment for Monday. He says " Why are you still here?" to me. I said, I thought going make an appointment for Monday. He gets more annoyed and I said "Forget it, I won't be doing business with you then." Unreal Horrible customer service. Sad man he was. read more

this is the 2nd time in two weeks I've tried to call and make an appointment for an oil change. I call their number make an appointment and they ask if I plan on staying with the car or leaving it. I tell the woman I'm staying with the car. I go to the the place the guy asks me if I plan on leaving the car and he goes I'm alone and probably won't be able to finish it til later that night. Literally happened twice exactly the same, I ask the guy why I'd make an appointment at 11am if you wont be able to see my car til later that night and he said it's because the call center is in India and they have no idea what is going on in the shop. I'm not mad at the shop, just mad at the terrible system they have in place read more

it is my opinion, based upon their treatment of my girlfriend, Sj,an attractive mature woman, that this Mr. Tire location uses predatory and scare tactics toward women. SJ went to get a cost estimate to budget the replacement of 4 tires in the near future. The manager told her that she should have the tires replaced that day because because they were dangerous to drive on. That she may not make it home if they weren't immediately replaced. He gave SJ a price of $1,400 dollars as well as making a pass at her. Being smart, SJ "smelled a rat" and knew she was being hustled. SJ went to another reputableprice $900 dollars less!! Woman, seniors and inexperienced persons should be aware of this Mr. Tire locations predatory sales approaches and up charging. RJC - Galloway read more

Back in February, I scheduled an oil change online and arrived on time to my appointment. The shop manager - little older man who like to complain a lot about how he works too hard - told me he was too busy and I would have to wait until hours later in the day. It was a huge inconvenience but I was leaving the next day to travel to a funeral, so I had no choice but to rearrange the whole day. When I came back, I also presented a coupon that I printed from online. The same guy refused to accept it, saying it was for the wrong oil, and instead of telling me to grab the other one that was for the correct one, says "if you could read, you'd see." I pulled up the correct one on my phone and dude wouldn't take it. Whatever. Figured it was a one off since they've been pretty great prior. I scheduled an appointment yesterday at 10:37AM. They called me at 6:47 AM TODAY and said we changed your time. When I call back at an acceptable time, they refused to let me talk to the person who changed my time and refused to give me the name of the store manager. I noticed they don't treat their male customers like this. I don't know what the deal is here, but if you're a woman, they will treat you like you're less. They're rude, they talk down to you, and this place is a joke. If I could give no stars, I would. read more

I had a reservation I made online for 4 tires with a quoted price. When I got there, I was told that the online pricing for tires was for the entire company, not that location. "Those tires at that price might be in Los Angeles." So obviously call and do not rely on their online reservations. I was then told he could order the tires and have them in a few days. I was good with this. But after checking, the tires I ordered were "discontinued." Only ones they could get in that size were $30 more each and it would be a few days. I said I'd shop around. I did and didn't deal with anything like this at my next stop. read more

Poor customer service and communication. I cannot comment on the work, since I walked out before any could be done. Good prices though it appears. read more

I spent $1200 as my front end was shaking and very loud. I said that I thought my wheel bearings might be bad As tires and brakes were recently done elsewhere. Picked up my car which was still making noise and shaking. I called and got a rude response to my complaint stating "you only said it was loud"! WTH??? Your Mechanics are supposed to be the experts, your business reputation depends on it. Never coming back to this business!!!! read more

Our family has been going to this garage for over 40 years, since pervious owners, Mr Vergata. My daughter was told over the phone when getting prices, the charge for an oil change was $65.00 for her Kia, Sonoma. When she picked her car up, price changed to $126 or $128. I don't have the receipt in front of me. Not acceptable!! She's 9 months pregnant and would have went to a cheaper place, hence why she called around prior! $65 was the same about price as Jiffy Lube. They didn't have any openings so she went to Mr Tire. She was leaving for the poconos the following morning. Needed to be done asap. Anyway, she was told it cost so much cause she had synthetic oil and needed an extra quart. Why? With an oil change the oil is included, where did the one extra court come from? my husband works at AutoZone. The top of the top of synthetic oils for a complete oil change is, $45.00. That's not included the 20% off he would get as an employee. This was very disgusting what this place did. This garage is down the street from me and I am now letting family and friends know in town, the disgusting trick they pulled on our family. They doubled the price from the phone call to doing the work. Nobody called my daughter to tell her it would be more than $65. They never even called my daughter to let her know her car was done. My daughter had to call and say, hi is my car done? The manager tried to use the excuse that there were a bunch of phone numbers and on our receipt was clearly three phone numbers. One was our house number, still in use. One was my old phone number and the other was my daughter's actual phone number. Very disappointed that they did this dirty trick to us and will never go to this garage again. They just lost 11 people from our family and not counting the amount of friends, that used to go there on a regular basis however, not anymore. read more

Dave and his crew saved the day! We ended up with a flat tire the day we were leaving to head back from a weekend trip. Called ahead, they had our tire in stock in case they couldn't fix the one we had. Luckily it was just a quick fix for the tire we had. So happy with our experience :) read more

I commonly take my car to Mr. Tire in Absecon for oil changes and general maintenance! I've always had such great quick service and there's never a time where I'm being sold something I don't need! Had the engine shield come loose while on the Parkway. Stopped here with no appointment and they had me back on the road in 15 minutes, and very reasonably priced. Great job! read more

I am not the person to go writing negative reviews but by all means this is NECESSARY! I repeat do NOT go here! They will rip you off and take you for all your money. I am a hard working female student athlete at Stockton University and unfortunately the other day my car had an emergency and I regretfully brought it to these assholes. They charged me almost 1k for something that could have costed a couple hundred dollars. Of course I could have been smarter but once again it was an emergency. When my dad called to find out exactly what was wrong with my car they were very rude and ignorant. Long story short, I told those assholes off and they are never ever getting mine or anyone I know's business. Don't let these assholes take your hard earned money, go literally anywhere else! read more

Very fair pricing. Fast service. Very happy with them. Will definitely recommend them.

This was my second time there. Oil changes, tire rotations, and sadly, a tire repair from a nail. Services were completed very quickly. Although I brought a coupon I found, an "even better" one was found and applied. read more

I have been coming to Mr. Tire ever since it was Vespia's, every bit of 8 years now. The shop is manned by the man himself, Walt, who's customer service and knowledge allows you to feel comfortable and at rest, knowing your vehicle is in the best hands around. I would not take my car anywhere else. From new tires, to brakes, to wheel bearings, to engine work--they do it all. The end result is always quality work that is done right, quick, and at competitive price. Do yourself a favor and go see Walt at Mr. Tire in Absecon. read more

I had a flat tire last minute and I called the shop near closing time. Walt was super friendly and happy to help out. Very reasonable, too!

Really great guys here who will give you an honest insight into services and will never force you to throw your money away. Walt & Bill are fantastic and definitely ask for them! read more

Walt greeted me at the door and was very helpful. He asked me what time I needed to be out for my oil change and he was able to get me out in a timely manner. He even turned the TV off to accommodate me while I was working in the waiting room. Thanks so much! read more

They overcharge and rip you off! Replaced two break hoses and flushed breaks, charged $600. Didn't replace breaks but said I would need new ones within a month. I went to Mavis next day for new breaks and They said the hoses should have only cost $100. Never go to Mr. Tire! read more

Had to get my car fixed, its been shaking at 50mph or more since October. I thought it only needed balance and rotation and wheel balance. The guys here really care about their customers, they showed me that my tie rods were shot and me and my daughter could of been in a horrible accident if they didn't show me and state it needed to be taken care of. All of them kept me laughing during my time there and took good care of me and my car. Thank you both for being up front and personable. Professional and friendly. read more

Was vacationing in the area and needed a tire balanced. It's always nerve wrecking when you're in an unfamiliar area and having work done to your car by people you don't know. However, the guys at this shop were very friendly and accommodating. The service was quick and the price was great. I would highly recommend them. read more

Hello, Let me tell you about my experience at Mr. Tire, I had made an Appointment to have 2 tire Replaced. The issues started upon arrival when i found out the the Total amount I was quoted was not correct. It was explained to me by the manager Bill that the reason was due to a New employee who did not know how to access the program for a proper total! I was then Up-sold to buy 2-more tires for a set of 4 and get a $120 rebate from Goodyear by Mail! I had a feeling that this was a Terrible Idea but I did it anyway, to my disappointment the Rebate was submitted improperly by Mr. Tire!! The corporate offices at Goodyear asked for more documentation (of Course) and stated that the Rebate would be $40 instead of the $120 that was Promised to me!! More that 3 weeks now and several hours of Email and Phone Conversations I still have nothing to show for it! So Buyer Beware! at Mr. Tire you can expect a Constant Up-Sell and Don't ever do any type of Rebate by Mail! I will NEVER do business with Mr. Tire again, the money was not the issue it's all the Aggravation that is involved... Regretfully, RJR read more

Friendly staff and good service. They're always willing to take time to explain in detail what is needed to get my car back on the road safely. I really like that I can make an appointment for little things like an oil change. Today I needed an oil change and a mysterious noise checked out. The kids and I sat and did schoolwork in the waiting area while the problem was identified. Upon learning it would take a couple hours to get parts and complete the necessary repair, we got lunch at a nearby restaurant and finished right around when the car was ready. Walt called to say the car was ready and said he'd send someone to pick us up. So glad we were directed here for repair work when we moved to the area 11 years ago! read more

I live in North Jersey and brought my car in for an issue with the radiator. The guy Bill quoted me a ridiculous price of $700 for the radiator replacement and then tried to charge me another $900 for new brake pads and calipers for the front. $1,600 total. My mechanic up north charged me half! What a ripoff! read more

I needed two tires, a gas tank, and my back rear window fixed. Everything went smoothly, I was walked through everything they would be charging me for and everything that they were doing. Walt was the employee there taking care of me, making sure I was completely filled in and worked to find cheaper parts in cost to keep my price down. I was never pressured to buy anything extra or spend more money on anything unwanted or unneeded. Walt made this experience as pleasant as it could be. read more

Wish I could give it five stars. I waited an hour and forty or more for a tire patch. They told me an hour which is still crazy for 41 dollars. UPDATE: I have kindly contacted the women from customer service who has commented on my reviews. I have left her messages and she has yet to return any of the phone calls. I went for a simple oil change from Mr. Tire in Absecon. It took nearly two hours for them to complete the oil change but other then that I didn't have any complaints. They asked me if I wanted to purchase a new air filter and I politely declined. After the long wait they finally came out and said everything in the car was perfect and I was ready to go. Two days after the oil change the check engine light came on in my car. My car wasn't driving right and was bucking upon accelerating. I took the car back home to my home mechanic and they looked at the car and ran the diagnostic test. The mechanics at Mr.Tire had left the air intake hose off which led to $500 worth of damage to my car. Mr.Tire refused to do anything about it. I am very disappointed in the customer service and service at Mr.Tire. They do not stand by there customers. Save yourself the time and don't give these people your money. read more
