I could write a book from dropping it off to picking it up from the disregard and disrespectful people in the office to the mechanic who got grease all over the interior/exterior of the car. Took my 2011 BMW for a battery change and Brake Fluid Flush. Battery change went well, abut after a few weeks of intermittent driving I got a Brake Pad Warning light. Had BMW dealer look at it and they found the brake pad wear sensor mount was damaged and allowed the wire to contact my rim, become frayed, and tripped the warning light. Called Ditmire, relayed the story, the woman (who answered the call) denied everything and then ignorantly said "Call a Lawyer". and hung up. Go at your own risk. After being referred to your shop by another repair facility that praised your specialization in Mercedes-Benz vehicles, I had high hopes for addressing the issue of a short that was draining my battery. Initially, evaluate $451.02 you charged me $451.02 for the replacement of the overhead module, and an additional $436.32 for repairing a power steering line leak. I agreed to proceed with the work, which totaled $1,307.21. However, upon picking up my vehicle, I discovered that the battery was dead after sitting outside my home for just two days.Furthermore, I reported that the radio, steering wheel controls, and phone were not functioning upon receiving the car back. However, I was informed that these issues were present when the vehicle was brought to your shop, which is simply untrue. Everything was operational prior to my visit, except for the battery drain problem.When I returned the car to your shop, I was charged an additional $251.00. I was then told that all I needed was a new battery. After nearly a week of waiting for updates, I was notified that my vehicle was ready for pickup. Unfortunately, when I sent someone to retrieve it, the battery was dead once again.Despite having paid a total of $1,500.00 for repairs, my vehicle continues to experience issues. After charging the new battery for 24 hours, it was dead once again after just two days of non-use.To add insult to injury, I received a text from your team today asking if I had a great experience. This service has been far from satisfactory, and I feel it is essential to address these ongoing problems.I kindly request your prompt attention to this matter. I brought my beloved Porsche for a simple wind screen replacement and alignment. I got a call form Joel sayin he had totaled it in an "accident " in his lot. All they did for me was get the insurance for it. They did nothing to help replace it when I pointed out that their deceased step father and my close friend Bill Ditmire would have helped me replace the car they bad mouthed him and said he was a terrible businessman. While traveling from Virginia to my second home in ventnor a check engine light came on to my 2014 Mercedes GLK250 BluTec. This shop told me to bring the car right over for an evaluation. I promptly drove the car to their shop. I could see that they were swamped but they literally stopped what they were doing to check out my problems. After about 30 minutes the service man shared with me the issues and felt that it was safe enough to get the car back to Virginia to my regular service center. I just can't believe how attentive, honest, and pleasant they were. No wonder my Mercedes dealer in Virginia recommended them OVER the local dealer. I have used this shop for 2 years. In those 2years I have had my oil changed 6 times. The second time they used the wrong washer for the drain plug. The next four times they changed the oil they made the same mistake twice. I am presently sitting in their shop 2 hours waiting for them to fix their mistake for the third time. Now they claim that they oveertightened the plug . The skills of jiffy lube. NOT HAPPY. Last time for me. Three strikes and you're OUT! Nice guys, bad mechanics. read more

If I could give less than 1 star, I would. I had Ditmire Motorworks fix my Mercedses wagon but every single thing he said he fixed was not in working condition when I got my car from his shop. He even failed at putting my air vents in properly. I finally sued Ditmire MW is Atlantic City and was awarded an appropriate sum. Mr. Ditmire has refused to pay the court ordered amount. If you want someone who won't do a good job, who won't stand behind his work, and who won't even comply with a court order, then do you really want him working on your car? He is a bad mechanic, a dishonest businessman, and he doesn't even have the deceny and respect to follow a simple court order to pay for his mistakes and the horrible job he did in attempting to fix my car. read more

Ditmire did me wrong. First fixed an oil leak on my BMW. 6 months later brought the car back for electrical problems, turned out to be an oil leak from previous repair. Quoted me a $2500 repair plus parts. I refused repairs and took my car back home. Left my car parked on driveways. a few weeks later I opened the hood cause battery had drained only to find out that ditmire had removed all engine covers and never put back. While I realize they can claim why did I waited so long to report, I have not reasons to lie... Poor service and not too trust worthy. read more

We have an older minivan that needed a master cylinder replaced ASAP. I wasn't sure if Ditmire serviced cars other than Mercedes, but called them based on their local reputation here in Absecon. Best customer service I've ever had at a repair shop, prices are very fair, and they were able to get me in quickly. I think the most impressive thing was that we had a 12:30 appointment, and the car literally was taken in at 12:30 on the dot! Brakes are now working perfectly and I couldn't be happier with the whole experience. Glad to give them 5 stars!! read more

On the advice of a friend I took my took my Mercedes there to fix the issue causing the service light to appear on my dash board. After I picked the car up the service light was still indicating the problem wasn't resolved. So I brought my car back which meant that is again be without it for several days. I incorrectly assumed that there wouldn't be a second bill, however instead of owning the fact that they misdiagnosed the problem, they presented me with a second bill which I had to pay if I wanted my card back. When I spoke to them about how unhappy I was they sort of shrugged their shoulders and said that they can't properly diagnose and service each car the first time. While that may be true, I was a few thousand dollars in for the first round of unnecessary repairs. Anyway, do yourself a favor and avoid this place poor technical skill and horrendous customer service from my experience. read more

I needed specific work done on a family car. After they had the car all day and over night I phoned twice to get an update.....I was told of numerous things that needed to be done and then given a price... After I disagreed with the price I told them I would be by to pick up my car...I was then told I owed over a hundred dollars just for them "looking" at my car... MIND you NO work was actually done.... When I went to retrieve my car and told them we would be going to court over the matter... I was then told I intentionally wasted their time.. I had no intentions on having work done... So when I disagreed and thought they were WAY OVER PRICED....the OWNER/MANAGER of the business told me to back my car out of his place and right up my a££! This is no lie... He did this in front of his employee and a customer sitting in the waiting room. I told him I was raised better to respond to that and left..... MY OPINION.... WAY OVERPRICED! And especially an OWNER/MANAGER who sets the example for his employees to follow to speak to a woman that way because I felt his prices were way to high and wanting to charge me $107 to "look over my car"....... read more
