Bought a Nissan Rogue there 6 years ago. The Rogue was totaled by insurance company last month. Went to 3 other places, the first place I was sure I wanted that 2014 car for $6000 cash with way too many miles. I was so sure I gave $100 deposit never to return. Second place, a beautiful 2014 ford fusion titanium , needless to say never returned there either, I just wasn't feeling it. My agent from insurance company recommended a place in Sewell, I ask him if it was Apollos ? Great for sales, pretty terrible service department though. Dropped my car off and they called me with an update the next day saying what needed to be fixed and the price. I gave the OK. Few days pass and I call them for a status, and it turns out they never even started because whoever called me forgot to put down my response! Arranged to pick my car up after normal business hours since I work late, and when I got it, the check engine light was now on and the issue I took it in for wasn't fixed either. On top of that, I asked them to replace my in-cabin air filter and they did not. Paid $250 and wasted three days without my car for nothing. Insane that they would even return it to me with the check engine light on! This place is a . Initially, the experience started out great. Vinnie went above and beyond to send me pictures and video of the car, in the rain, before I could get there to look at it. His communication was excellent and he consistently got back to me within minutes. Once I got to the dealership, the games started. I caught him in multiple lies and he made promises he couldn't keep. One lie was the old dealership line "we don't make any money off our sales, we take a loss". I replied that no business is in business to lose money. It was insulting to me for him to think I'd believe such an obvious lie. He also told me over the phone that I could get a loan for 84 months. When I got there, he changed the story to the car being too old to qualify for an 84 month term. He knew how old the car was when we talked before I got there. It was manipulative behavior to mislead me before the sale. Another thing he did to mislead was promised me the floor mats that go with the car, before the sale. Once he made the sale, he tried to back out of it along with his manager, but eventually agreed to include that in the sale. He sent pics of the car getting aligned and getting new tires before the sale. I thought that was great that they were trying to sell a quality car. That is, until I drove the car home. On the test drive, he took me on roads that didn't reach the speed at which the car shakes violently. When I drove the car home and reached highway speeds, I noticed it shake, but thought it was the terrible northern roads. When I got to smoother roads at highway speeds, I realized it was the car. I had the car looked at by my mechanic for the violent shaking and he said it has a bad tire. I contacted the dealership to let them know they put on a bad tire. Any shop that puts tires on will replace a bad tire and return the old tire for a refund. Bad tires happen and likely this one was stored improperly. The communication after the sale changed entirely. Vinnie was no longer responsive to emails about the bad tire, he has been "too busy" to take calls. However, before the sale, he was easy to reach by phone and returned emails almost immediately. That change in behavior is a red flag that games are being played. All they have to do is replace a bad tire and they'd rather play games than do the right thing. In addition to that, they would only offer the price they advertised if I financed with them. Their interest rate is double what I was offered with other banks. How a business treats a customer after the sale says a lot more than how they treat you before the sale. Read that last sentence again. Additional things to mention, their detailers did a poor job detailing the car. I have had to detail it myself after getting it home. Madison, my first contact with them, wasn't honest on the first call. I directly asked her if she was a sales person and I was led by her to believe that she would be my sales person. She is a receptionist and Vinnie ended up being the sales guy. She should have been honest and up front that she wasn't a salesman when she was asked directly. She also told me the car had been in one accident and it turned out that it had been in 2. Again, misleading. People that can't answer a direct question honestly are red flags in my book and can't be trusted. Vinnie went to eat lunch while I waited on their finance guy to "come up with numbers". It was rude to make me wait with a lie while he ate lunch. They did give me a ride from Enterprise back to the dealership to drop off the rental, so that was nice of them. I'm trying here to share the good with the bad, but the bad greatly outweighed the good. I gave this dealership every opportunity to make things right before leaving this review. I truly wanted to leave a good review. But since they have handled this so poorly, I have been left with no choice but to leave this review. I guess them leaving me with a bad tire is better to them than doing the right thing and earning a positive review and a loyal customer. I have also shared this with my family and friends and have made it clear to hold Apollo and Vinnie responsible if anything happens to me because of the bad tire they are responsible for. They have the instructions to access the emails and recorded calls I have with this company, as I record everything because of people like this. Remember, how a business treats its customers after the sale says a lot more than how they treat you before the sale. So do you really want to do business with someone that will screw you over after the sale? Or do you want to choose another business that will take care of you after the sale to ensure they have a chance at your repeat business in the future? They also overcharged me for state taxes and then didn't pay them to the state. The state is asking me for their taxes. I strongly recommend that everyone report this business to the news, consumer protection, the attorney general, etc. read more

They claim everything else looked good on my car. Thank god! My Powertrain warranty is good till 10/22. Or 60,000 miles. I feel they're very dishonest & snakes in the grass! And don't know how they're still in business ripping people off. Cars might look good on outside, but mechanical problems for sure. I purchased a car from there in September and it was honestly, one of the worst mistakes I have ever made in life. They posted an electric car that intrigued me and they told me a string of lies to get me to buy it. I pulled it off the lot with bad brakes and a nail in the tire. So exactly what inspection was done?? When I tried to return it, after having them test the battery which isn't functioning even at 70%, they told me my only option was to trade it and I needed an extra $1000. Needless to say I am having to go through leaps and bounds to keep this disaster and they colluded/scammed/collaborated to get it off the lot. I found a car at Apollo for $9000. I gave them $1000. down. The salesman told they would throw in a warranty . They told me it would cost $234.37 for 60 months. Then they turn around and add $1400. for a warranty plus a bunch of other fees like $370. document fee. After the finance charge at 10.89% the total came out to $17,874. That's $9000. more then the price of the car. They can repossess it at that rate. Then they blamed the bank. My late father sold cars for 30 years and never ripped anyone off like that. I saw a car that I was interested in online. I sent an email in reference to the vehicle and was immediately contacted back by Rachel I gave her my information for financing and she said she would call me back. She called me back, the same day, and we set up an appointment for me. She told me to ask for her when I arrive. When I arrived I was greeted outside by a gentleman who escorted me inside the facility. The facility was very clean and the staff was amazingly friendly. Rachel greeted me and told me someone would be with me shortly. A few moments later I was greeted by Moses. He was amazing!! Very friendly, down to earth and easy to talk to. We found out afterwards and had a 5 star body shop take the car apart and hired an attorney and contacted the owner and all I wanted was for him to do the honest thing and take the car back. On June the 8th a Monday. I Made what I thought was a sound decision. I was mistaken. Having picked out a vehical and paid in full $50,000.00 I asked a few seamingly minor repairs be done. At the time the sales person told me I should expect to be able to pick up this truck in that weeks end five day's later. Today is June 29th a Monday but now three weeks later. I have called and sent a text to the sales person. That was hours ago and as yet now 4:30 P.M. still no word. I see now paying in full in cash was not a good idea. Unfortunatly the old adage watch who you trust does matter espicaly in the used car business. This experence began with what appeared to be a dealership I felt good about and initally trusted. What has transpired has been anything but a endless list of excuses and no, I don't yet have the truck. At 63 years of age this has taught this old dog a lesson. Never pay in full and expect to be treated with respect. These guy's take the money and run. In truth the service manager seemed to do what he could to rectify much of the miss handeling of my purchase. The sales person, a woman named Gigi was the real start of all this trouble. She was driving my truck off the lot saying she and a young trainee were off to the body shop to get a spot of rust fixed. They weren't. More likely off to lunch as weeks later it still hadn't been to any body shop. Rust on a 2017 GMC Denali? This made no sense at all. I told Gigi I could buy from South and North Datoa. There's salt on the roads almost all year. As it turned out this truck was purchased by the city of Quebec Canada!! now we know how the rust through occurred. She knew this but to close the sale was all that mattered to her! Another very odd thing was I called GMC direct and they told me that truck was sent to be delivered with Michelin tires and all six were the same. The front were the correct size but the four rear were not but much narrower. The rims are steal and chrome plated. These are all beat to heck and none were Michelin as @ 37,000 miles should have been. Gmc stated it would be imposible for three or four year old rims could possibly show the damage that they did and the orignal Michelin tires should have still been on the truck and not some budget brand tires of the wrong size. So here I am now in July and still no truck and replacing the rims by GMC is over $4000.00 dollars U.S.. I will have to replace them and must buy OEM rather than orignal equipment as the cost is just too much. Thats my bad as I thought they could be resurfaced and plated but almost no one does rims and they cost more than new. In my life I've always bought new high end cars. This has been my first experence with a "used car dealer". NEVER AGAIN. I will be trading this in once manufacturing resumes. They have no intrest in making sure I or perhaps You if you don't heed this, that their customers are pleased with what they deliberately miss lead to sell. There are many places to buy a used truck or car. Just don't go here for your own peace of mind. This place is ridiculous! We bought a truck on a Friday night and were told we would be able to pick it up on Monday because it needed to be detailed and they don't do that on Saturday. TWO WEEKS later, I'm writing this because we still have NO TRUCK! everyday you call and you're told oh it will be ready tomorrow and when tomorrow comes they jerk you around again. After I got my car done the same issue came on the other side of the vehicle so I took it back a few days later another 4 hours for them to put on a totally different part just to tell me my car was still messed up and they will order the right part and that it will be in the next day.. said they will call me to make a appointment to come back... 3 weeks later I ended havin to call them to try to make the appointment... i was transfer it to the service department and was on hold so long the phone sent me back to the main desk Smh this happened 3 times!! When they finally did answer no one knew what part I needed!! the same part they claim will be in the very next day 3 weeks ago! A complete JOKE!! This is the reason why I only take my vehicle to the brand dealership to get any kind of service! Figured I'll let them do it cause I paid all that money for this car they can fix what's wrong especially since it was still in warranty... come to think of it my car supposedly had a 110 Multi point inspection done on it before I came to pick it up so why am I making service appointments a month after my purchase?!?!
