Tiremaxx said that reducing from freeway speeds down to the side of the road and stopping immediately wasn't enough to protect my warranty. When I  asked what was I supposed to do apparently I was supposed to slam on my brakes and stop in the middle of 94 the second it blew. I had the tire changed professionally and the guy said the side wall blew out. I brought it to them right away to fix it or replace it and Tiremaxx fed me more lines of crap about my warranty being voided. They said repeatedly that something had punctured the tire that wasn't there anymore and heavily implied that I had removed it. I did nothing of the sort. The sidewall had completely severred from the rim. Before I even got home from paying for the 5th tire the sensor light was back on. Then Tiremaxx claimed that it was because the car needed to reset the tire sensors when a tire was changed. So I went back and let them reset the sensor. TURNS OUT THEY WERE JUST TRYING TO COVER ANOTHER PROBLEM. By morning the sensor was back. I called a different mechanic and they said the tires were probably installed incorrectly and now that its getting cold they are separating from the rim. He thought I'd need ALL NEW TIRES because left uncorrected they will continue to blow out. I don't know when the next one's going to blow but I need them to fix it and they haven't called me back.  I can't believe that it's this difficult for a tire store to install tires correctly. While I was sitting in there waiting for my new tire yesterday, they said the exact same thing to the customer behind me about their warranty. Do not shop here if you want to be able to drive safely.

Every spring I have Curt and his crew provide me with a safety check. They go thru my 2008 Edge with a fine tooth comb. They'll repair what needs to be fixed, and at a reasonable price. Having Victory Tire and Auto regularly service our vehicles gives us peace of mind as we head down the road. We rate their service a 10+.

Once it was finally complete, it broke before I even got home. They had to fix it again. After that, I immediately had an oil leak and had to have that fixed. Next visit, they said I had another oil leak but I had already paid over $5000 to them for the other repairs and could not afford it at that time. I then started to have a large pool of oil on my garage floor so I had to borrow money to get the second oil leak fixed. When I bought it in, they said they couldn't find a leak and argued with me because I was somehow stupid for thinking a large pool of oil on my garage floor would be from a leak and they had already told me on a previous visit there in fact was a leak. Brought it back a week later and then they said there in fact was a leak. More money for those visits. I spent over $3000 to have oil leaks fixed which I am pretty sure were related to their terrible work on the timing chain. I no longer go there after years of service. Better off going to a dealer since they charge the same amount. When I spoke to the manager, he did not care. Just writes to me "Have a good day."

Called FRIEDRICH's AUTO, Rice MN and was quoted nearly $200 CHEAPER... when I asked Granite City Tire and Auto if they could reduce the price a little just to make it comparable... They said, "NO".... it's amazing that Granite City tire and auto is NOT willing to take even $50 off a bill in order To be competitive in the area... Can tell you that they have lost a customer for LIFE! And I will NEVER refer anyone to this establishment again. I've been very pleased with the service I've received from this Tires Plus. On numerous occasions I've had to bring my vehicle there simply because my low tire pressure indicator light kept going off. No problem. Pull it up outside of door #2 and they'll check the pressure and fill the tires. No questions asked! How great is that? I recently purchased a set of tires for my sedan and the process went well. It took a bit longer than I had hoped, but all went well. This has been my experience in recent years and it keeps me coming back. They do have free wi-fi, and it's also close to a lot of retailers and restaurants so that you have something to do while you wait.

The printed estimate listed a few items like brake pads but no inspection fee. When my friend's car was towed in she asked them to check the starter, brake pads, and a couple smaller items. Later she got a call saying it was not the starter but the battery. She agreed to replace the battery parts and labor only. She was never asked to approve any inspection fees. When we came to pick up the car there were two inspection charges added, one for $9.99 and one for about $40. My friend reminded Joe he had said there would be no charge. I confirmed I had heard him say this. Instead of simply addressing it, Joe said things like "you guys are looking for free stuff," cut my friend off several times by putting his hand in the air, and even took a phone call while speaking with us. He removed the charges only after we pressed him. When we came back later because my friend had dropped her chapstick, Joe looked at us and said to another employee, "They're probably here to say something's wrong," while staring. We had not even spoken yet. We are two Black women in St. Cloud and the way we were treated was mean, dismissive, and unprofessional. This is not about wanting something for free. It is about being charged only for what was agreed to and being treated with basic respect. I hope management addresses this so no one else has to experience it.
