This was convenient and honestly I like the personal touch. Bret is super knowledgable about Sportsters and overall motorcycle mechanical knowledge. I know enough to be dangerous but when it came to figuring out a tricky brake problem Bret opened up a can of worms but was able to track down the problem and fix it the RIGHT way. I am honestly thankful for people who are unwilling to do something wrong just because it's cheap or maybe even what you ask them to do. Bret gave me his best advice on the issue, we came up with a plan and I rode off into the sunset. I'll definitely be back and am really thankful for the help I got at TDC.

Brought my T120 Triumph in to be looked over at the 12,000 mile mark. Two issues I asked Sean to…read morelook at were the front brake and the clocks. For some reason the wiring to the clocks and the starter button was so constricted the clocks would randomly go dead while riding or would not set in order for the bike to start. I got lucky and was able to have the issue happen while Sean was looking at the bike. Sean reworked the wiring and put better quality brake pads on the front. Wiring issue solved and now I have an effective front break. Hats off to Sean for listening and taking care of business. Bike runs great now. I will be back!

Came here to get my dirtbikes front tire tube replaced. I…read moretook it off the bike so it'd be a bit cheaper. Called them up and they said they can do it today, sweet. Dropped it off and they said they will get to it. About 3 hours later I call then and ask about what time to expect it, they say head on in it will be done soon, okay. Get there 30 minutes later and was told it's on the rack give me 20 min. I got my tire and wheel back and immediately notice big scratches in the metal of my wheel, presumably from the tire spoons. This is a dirt bike tire so I dont care too much but it does look ugly, and just seems careless. I wouldnt bring my Harley here ever wouldn't want those wheels getting scratched. And holy hell be ready to pay out the azz for this place. Charged me 75$ for a FRONT TIRE TUBE REPLACE OFF BIKE. Most tire places charge 30-50$ max for this job. If it were still on the bike I'd understand but jeez But I was already too far in to back out. Oh well live and learn. 2 stars because they were nice and even after my scratched up wheel and empty pockets. The job was completed.

It was a busy area and their parking lot was completely empty with other spots available, so the confrontation felt unnecessary and added to an already stressful situation. I explained that I'd only be there for a moment and would be on my way, yet the response was still rude. It certainly doesn't inspire confidence in how they interact with customers!

I was so impressed when I rolled up and felt immediately safe as I saw approximately 20 motorcycles in varying degrees of improvement, none of which were less than roughly 40/50 years old? These guys know what they're doing. The owner Johnny came out along with Marine Corps Vet Dan and off we went. There were many small things to do but Dan also discovered my clutch was about to break! It was frayed and about poo! He went into Austin same-day and still managed to finish before end of day. Haven't dropped her off yet as they are settling into their new place....but soon, very soon I will take my little bike in. I am so happy I stopped by to look at the shop. Peggy & I got to talking about ramps to load/unload my mower/bike & she ordered me a great aluminum folding double wide for less than what I could find online for the quality & my needs. These guys are great people people. They've moved (not far) down the road & is still really close to where I work, which is a big plus.

Had it restored in Virginia over 10 years ago…read more Used to take it to a different shop, but eventually they refused to work on it for anything other than easy tune-ups. Had an oil leak at the cylinder head. Finally found Rathbone a couple of years ago. Trevor and the crew were able to diagnose the issue and told me what had to happen (engine had to come out to fix the seals in the head). Ordered a complete seal kit and replaced all the seals in the engine, cleaned and adjusted the carbs, tuned, etc. Great work. The bike has run like a watch. Starts right up, no leaks cold or hot.

Called 'em up and was assured that'd be easily doable. Had the bike towed there so they could assess it, determine what all would need to be done, and provide a cost estimate. The assessment took a little while (a couple of weeks), but once they'd determined that, they got the repairs/replacements done in under a week! Wow! The price was also incredibly fair. When I stopped in to pick her back up, I finally got to meet the folks and see the shop, and I gotta say, it's clear these folks like bikes and like working on bikes. This is their jam. The employees are friendly and helpful and their hands are stained with grease-- exactly who you want working on your vehicular baby! She's been purring perfectly ever since for all my zooming about town. The shop decor is fun too-- they've got a pinball machine on free play if you need to kill some time while you wait. On my way to the bathroom I saw they even have some arcade-style motorcycle SEGA games! They have merch for sale like t-shirts. Bathroom is immaculately clean for a shop toilet. Impressive. I walked in 10 mins before closing (unknowingly) after wrestling with my tires all day. They didn't hesitate and had them done in 10 mins. After a failed brake flush in my own I rode my bike up there. They had rear brakes replaced, front tire turned the right way (I'm not much of a mechanic lol), bled brakes, replaced axel nut that had stripped and let me know I needed a new brake fluid reservoir that had stripped. Took an hour to find all the problems and fix them. Seriously won't go anywhere else. Was expecting crazy prices but not the case. Wheels out on the rims under what I expected and one hour service a few days later was reasonably priced.
