This was a listing for a scooter. As you can see, there are a ton of bikes unrelated. This is deception.

These guys use a very deceptive marketing technique on Craigslist. They flood their ads with every conceivable brand and model. So when you try to set up a CL alert for a specific bike (the whole idea behind setting up an alert) every bike they list gets sent to your email. It's really irritating to get flooded with 2 or 3 emails a day from these guys, thinking the bike you're looking for may have come on the market. I've asked them to stop and just market legitimately, but it's fallen on deaf ears. My experience tells me if they market deceptively, they likely do other things deceptively. Don't buy from these guys.

Have now bought 2 bikes from Mike & Ben, can't recommend them enough. Fair & honest prices, quick to respond to questions, no hassle. Thanks for the help, bike is incredible.

Bought a Yamaha V-Star 650! 10/10 would recommend MotoJava. Owners MotoMike and Lucy are the very best in the business.

MotoMike and Lucy are the very best in the business. I am glad I get to start my journey into motorcycling with them because I know that they're good for their word, are friendly and super knowledgeable. All bikes in their shop are top quality and MotoMike spends 10s of minutes understanding your experience and preference before recommending you any bike. You will gain a wealth of knowledge and confidence by just talking to them. Thanks MotoMike and Lucy for selling me an amazing first bike! (Purchased a Yamaha V-Star 650)

Every visit has been smooth, clear, and surprisingly stress-free. They explain things in a way that makes sense, keep you in the loop, and never make you feel like you are being upsold or brushed off. There is a level of professionalism there that is hard to find, especially when it comes to something as important as your bike. You can tell they take pride in what they do, and it shows in the results. At this point, they have completely set the bar for us. It is rare to trust a shop this much, but we do. The bike always comes back exactly how it should, and we leave feeling confident every time. That kind of customer service sticks with you, and it is the reason we would not think twice about recommending them.

Nini at the front desk was absolutely perfect for the job imo: compassionate, reassuring, and exactly what a first-timer needs before throwing a leg over a bike for the first time for real. Freddie and Henry were great too, really easy dudes to talk to and very helpful with sharing tips and other pointers for me. I'll be honest, I dropped the bike an equal number of times on both sides over the weekend, all at zero mph (embarassing af). Symmetrically bruised ego, perfectly balanced. Returning it felt intimidating, but the whole team handled it with zero judgment and genuine professionalism. I didn't try to hide anything and they made the whole process painless, albeit with some monetary penalties caused by my inexperience (I own up to this though). I'm leaving with my wallet lighter but with my heart genuinely fuller for the experience. The environment this shop creates for nervous beginners like me is genuinely rare, and it made me feel supported and motivated to come back and do better next time. Will absolutely be back for my next rental and keep getting ride time in, because real experience gained like I did is priceless. The human element of the shop is just cherry on top, and makes me feel good I'm supporting a local business. Shoutout to Nini, Freddie, and Henry. You made a squid feel welcome.

I Do NOT recommend . First off I went in because I needed tires, I had a blow out in my rear tire and decided to just get both replaced. So, the tires were a little pricey and the labor charge was insane. But I value quality over price so I went for it. The tires are terrible (Michelin) it doesn't seem balanced and it just doesn't feel right. Usually with new tires I get this secure sensation when I ride ( not this time) Secondly, they were pitching me on other services that I found strange because I just had them done at a school with an instructor. Thirdly, on my way home, my storage box fell off my bike on the freeway, when I went back, they claimed they hadn't touched it, it was odd to me because, I ride everyday and had no issues. Lastly, instead of apologizing, I get a mechanic yelling at me saying i was at fault. When I asked to speak to the owner, I was told that he lives out of state. After all this mess I spent hours reading past reviews and found that others had similar experiences, but my biggest takeaway was how the owner/s replied to some of the commentators. I found it defensive, rude and never taking accountability, always deflecting the bad service or work they've done. Truth is truth, my review is based on my horrendous experience I had at this place of so called business.

I brought my vintage motorcycle in for three specific issues: to have the carburetor checked because it was coughing under load going uphill, small oil leak, and to have the rear tire replaced because it was slowly losing air. When I picked the bike up, I was told the work was complete after inspection. At no point was I told the clutch was worn out or that it needed replacement, nor was there any mention of it on my invoice. The very first ride home, I immediately noticed the motorcycle wasn't riding the same. Downshifting became difficult, the shifter would stick, and it became much harder to find neutral. None of these issues existed before the service. I reached out simply to understand what had changed. I asked whether the oil or any adjustments could be contributing to the difference. Rather than answering my questions, I was repeatedly told I needed a new clutch and to "learn how to live with it" because the bike is 45 years old. What concerns me is that the clutch only became an issue after I reported the bike wasn't operating the same. If the clutch was truly worn to the point that it required replacement whether cable or complete system, I would have expected that to be identified during the service, discussed with me when I picked up the motorcycle, and documented on my work order. It wasn't. As a woman, I left feeling dismissed rather than listened to. I wasn't accusing anyone of causing the problem, I was asking reasonable questions to understand why my motorcycle behaved differently immediately after the service. Instead of a professional discussion, I was met with defensive responses and told to accept it. I understand that vintage motorcycles require maintenance and that components wear out. What I expect from any reputable shop is clear communication, transparency about anything discovered during the inspection, and respectful treatment when a customer has legitimate concerns. It's disappointing because my first experience here earned my trust. Unfortunately, this second experience lost it.

Also, I am new to the Vespa world in general and didn't know much about anything. However, I am a quick study and have been educating myself since my interest to purchase arise. The staff has been good for the most part. Dean is a professional that will go over the models, pricing, service, and any questions about the product. Dean has been extremely helpful and patient when answering my questions. Scott is a good guy, that doesn't always respond to emails, which bothers me as a paying customer. Pros: This location will provides a great selection of vintage Vespas on this side of the Mississippi! They acquire Vespas locally or have them shipped from Italy. You will get a quality product from Bello Moto. Cons: The prices are top tier. In a market where finding a vintage Vespa of your choosing is few and far in between, perhaps this is a good problem. There were many little problems Bello Moto should share with customers that are not local since they ship the products nationwide. The clutch did not have the gear numbers stamped in. This made guessing the gears hard for this new rider. The kick stand leaned to one side. The throttle did not snap back, making that a very dangerous to ride! Truth be told, I still would have purchased it, but I would have appreciated a heads up especially if I am paying top dollar. The description said it was a 1974 Vespa with "factory holes for turn signals". When I got the title, I learned it was actually a 1976 model. The factory holes for turn signals led me to believe that I could have someone install the turn signals at some point. I was told I couldn't add the turn signals because the aftermarket compression brake took up all the conduit space, making it impossible as it is. Here is one of my biggest problems, It was more than that. The whole wiring harness, including the switchers, have been ripped out. I didn't learn that until I had the product shipped to me. These items are not found on the market! Luckily I found a competent mechanic in Orange County that made a customer electrical harness and was able to get my front and rear turn signals operational in tandem with the aftermarket brake. I had Bello Moto install a right hand side mirror because I am blind in my right eye. This was a crucial must for me. They said that a handlebar mount (to match the left one) was impossible due to the aftermarket front brake so they installed an overcharged mirror onto the shield. Turns out that a matching mirror could be ordered and installed despite Bello Moto saying it was impossible to. Bello Moto needs to be transparent with their clientele. Vintage Vespas sell themselves! Inform your potential cliental of any and all issues. Setting the proper expectations to someone that can't walk up in person is crucial for a great customer experience. I wish I knew about the electrical system being compromised for turn signals. Also, all the little problems should be discussed. Your mechanics gave bad advice for mirror solutions.

As a new classic enthusiast, Bello Moto helped me navigate that barrier. Their shop is one of the few in the Bay that you can go to and have a selection of amazing classics to choose from. I can't think of another place that you can walk in and choose a vintage Lambretta or Vespa and ride away with it that day. They have up to date stock on their website. And the turn around time for getting it on the road is lightning quick. Granted, these scooters are not cheap. But the Lamby 1967 Li150 series 3 I chose is pristine. The few little issues it had were taken care of immediately. Tim was fantastic. I flooded the engine in my garage and was having shifting issues after I got it home. He came to my place and got me on the road again. It had to go back in for some clutch adjustments and Tim made sure everything was running great even weeks after the purchase. The day I drove off the lot I got about 5 min away and ran out of gas..Tim came through again with the save and I was so grateful. He taught me so much about my new scoot..how to unflood the engine, change the spark plug, adjust my clutch cables etc. he was very patient and really wanted me to ride away happy. All the men I know in the scene said I'd never get my hands on a Lambretta..and now because of Bello I'm a proud owner. I did some light mods on it today and am so happy to have a new wrenching project. Thank you so much to Tim and Jeff for all your help and my new baby :)
