Cassie was able to create one of the most beautiful plaque designs ever seen. She first edited the photo to perfection, picked out the perfect background and placed acrylic on top of the photo. Incredible masterpiece. Not to mention, we needed to add a plaque at the last minute and Cassie was able to do that without hesitation. Excellent customer service and professionalism. Hope to do ALL of our business with Vista Awards in the future. A huge thank you to Cassie!!! This place is a must for plaques, awards, trophies etc. No need to go anywhere else in the Reno/Sparks area.

The owner's name is Guy and he is a very friendly and knowledgeable person when it comes to the awards industry. At my first visit, I explained what I needed and Guy took me for a tour around his shop where scores of samples are on display. We arrived at the trophies I needed and then Guy made some great suggestions as to how I could develop the plates for each. I wasn't asked for a deposit and he called me with news that my trophies could be picked up two days before the date he'd promised the trophies would be ready. This was a very pleasant experience to work with Guy and I'd recommend this business to anyone in need of high-quality sports and business awards.

I had an extremely negative experience with Engravers of Reno due to unprofessional and hostile…read morecustomer service. I initially called to ask about engraving metal business cards. After confirming that I already had the cards, I was told to come by for assistance and a quote. I drove about 15 minutes across town expecting a basic consultation. The same woman who answered the phone was at the front desk. From the beginning, her tone was sarcastic and condescending. When I showed her a sample of my design and mentioned it was made in Canva, she immediately dismissed it as "sh*t software" and made a point of saying they "use REAL software." When she learned the file wasn't vectorized, she told me I was wasting her time... despite never mentioning this requirement during the phone call. Had I been told upfront that a vector file was required, I would have come prepared. Instead, I was spoken to rudely and made to feel unwelcome. When I asked for a rough quote anyway, I was quoted $2,500 to engrave 100 business cards!!! (with me providing the materials). At that point it was clear the price was either punitive or they simply didn't want the job, so I left. This is the first 1-star review I've ever felt compelled to write on Yelp. While other reviews suggest they may do decent work, the customer service alone is reason enough to look elsewhere. At a minimum, get quotes from other engravers in town before wasting your time and gas. $2,500 for 100 business cards, materials provided, paired with outright disrespect? Hard pass.
