Anthony and his guys, Joe and Joseph, arrived on time and ready to start loading. They were genuinely caring of my possessions. They worked quickly but with precision. They were a happy team and made my move very easy. I will highly recommend Motivated Movers. I will definitely be using them again for any future moves. read more

We have had an incredible experience with this company, and will use them for any services we need that they provide! My partner and I had to move out of a home that was not habitable, and contacted motivated movers with short notice. Chase was who I spoke to, and he was able to assist us to have movers come the next morning. I had called in the afternoon, and Chase said that they could come out as soon as the next morning. Amazing!!! Anthony and Brent were really helpful/skilled, and had everything moved into our storage so efficiently. They even went so far as to organize the storage so that when we moved into our new home it would be easier. That day has finally come, and as I write this they are assisting us with our move. Today Anthony and Mark are here, and we could not be more grateful. Thank you so much Motivated Movers! I highly recommend them as a moving company, and people over all. read more

I moved a few from a one bedroom and started to look around for a movers. Stumbled onto Motivated Movers. They showed up ontime - actually slightly early, did the quick inventory and started the move. Both people that shows up were polite and they worked diligently until the job was done. They didn't mind when I asked if they wanted help. When the elevator at the new apartment broke down they were not phased and kept the job moving along. I would hire them again. Good price and solid work. read more

Very slow. They waste time by walking around and moving things one by one in a very non efficient way compare to other moving companies.

Nothing fancy but that's what both me and my husband need. Both Anthony and Ricky are such nice people, very friendly and efficient. We didn't need to worry about any of our furnitures and their price is fair. They even invented their own way to move the mattress! Thumbs up for the two gentlemen! read more

Great team! Would highly recommend! I kept changing my mind on stuff to be moved 3 times and changes date twice and they worked with me the entire time! read more

They delivered..I highly recommend Motivated Movers!!!! You will never regret of their services ...will keep their card for a lifetime..great team effort !!!!a blessing indeed!!!!!!! Motivated Movers - Gina San Jose - Movers Near Me

Just horrible service. Never going with these guys again. Took way too long to move, for sure took their sweet tome because they were getting paid by the hour. I'd rather pay a little bit more for the job to be done in a more timely fashion and they don't break your hard earned possessions. read more

I have used them a handful of times, and they never disappoint. Today Anthony and Brent arrived on time, and are so great at what they do. Awesome guys, I had a good amount of stuff and they even put together a new bed frame for me, done in 3 hours. Would recommend them over and over, and will only trust them with any future moves :) read more

Once again, I am totally bummed by Yelp's inability to offer a zillion stars. Anthony and his crew at Motivated Movers SAVED MY BACON!!! Picture this: It is less than 24 hours before your move, and you can't get in touch with your movers, and then you realize they aren't coming! Panic sets in, and then you wonder where the heck will I find movers on less than 24 hours notice?!? #%@*!!!! My apartment complex manager was kind enough to tell me about Motivated Movers, and suggested that I give them a call. Anthony answered, and was kind, understanding and gave me an estimate right over the phone. He was booked up for the next day, but said he had a really flexible client, and asked if he could call me back after checking to see if the client would be ok pushing out a few hours. In less than an hour Anthony got back to me, and confirmed for 9am the next morning! At about 8:30am on Move Day, I received a text from Anthony that they were about to get rolling. I had most of my stuff packed and ready to go, and had my furniture disassembled, since I knew they only had a couple of hours to give me for my in-complex move. (In-complex means I just moved from one apartment to another inside the same complex...much harder because they had to haul all my stuff across the distance of a football field.) Right on time, Anthony and Gary (oh gosh...I think it was Gary, I didn't write it down!!) arrived ready to work at 9:00am. Those two worked quickly and smartly. There were furniture pads on my doors, the stairwells, and on the lawn, where they were staging items to be moved. They were so careful and methodical. It was truly a thing of beauty to watch them work. I knew time was tight, so I worked right alongside them, and they were communicative, and treated me with respect as we relocated all of my possessions. Now we've been at this for about 45 minutes, and I finally make my first trip over to the new apartment. Folks, this is where the pros rise to the top. Let me tell you, they stacked things along the walls in such a way that I could, at any time, access ANY box. Neat and orderly. And they continued in this way, such that when I needed to find a glass for water, it took all of about 2 minutes to find the box, get it open, and produce the drinking glass! They were so careful with my belongings..not one scratch, not one issue. Nothing broken. These guys were working so hard, and it was sunny and hot. At one point, they needed to take a break, but before they did, they asked if it would be ok to take a 5 minute break. Y'all, they ASKED!! I know moving stuff is hard work, and I'd have not batted an eye if they just took a break, but the fact that they respected my time and my money, and asked before taking a break, absolutely floored me. I refilled their water containers, and of course had no issue with them taking a breather. They kept it to just a few minutes, which is a totally new concept to me. The last movers I had took a "30 minute lunch" and were gone over an hour, so Anthony and Gary just blew my mind! Throughout the 3 hours that these two worked to move my home, they chatted with me, and were very positive and upbeat. When we were all finished, and I paid, there were gross, sweaty hugs...the best kind! I feel like I made friends! I know I'm never booking anyone but Motivated Movers for for future relocations! So, if you're still with me and have read this whole thing, you're clearly trying to find the right movers. Stop now. You're done. These are your guys! The price is better than all the other quotes I received - they didn't jack up the price for last minute, and they don't charge travel fees. The price they quote you per hour is the price you pay per hour, period. They are straight-shooting, hardworking, honest folks that will care for your stuff like it belongs to their granny. Call 'em now. And good luck with your move! "Thank you" seems too small a phrase to adequeately convey my gratitude, Anthony and Gary! read more

Finally a 5 star moving service that doesn't pressure you to write a review! These guys helped me move my Mom from Campbell this week and were phenomenal! They arrived right on time and helped us for 7 whole hours! They were extremely polite, careful and put us at ease throughout our whole moving process. I will absolutely be using them again and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a stress-free moving experience! Fernando, Danny and Luther were fantastic! read more

I used Motivated Movers recently when I had to quickly move my mom into an Assisted Living home. They were able to come the very next day, and they arrived promptly at 10:00 am. After transporting the items to my mom's new home, they set everything up how we wanted it. I was very pleased with their service and will definitely used them again. read more

Anthony and Danny were our movers. They were amazing. They were supportive of my high-functioning autistic girlfriend who had to manage the move while i was at work, and got everything done fast. Yesterday I was calling around to find a mover after I had been cancelled on. Motivated movers offered service today, but had no time yesterday. I originally said no, because I wanted to manage the move and let my girlfriend relax during the stress of a move. They called me back at close on Sunday to see if I still needed movers. I still declined, I thought I had movers coming that night (they cancelled). My girlfriend Lina called them this morning, and they got us scheduled right away. They were on-time and kept us apprised of their expected arrival. They got everything out quickly and Professionally. Anthony and Danny formed an excellent report with Lina, and worked to calm Lina down when the move caused an anxiety attack. She loves these movers, and insists that the next time we move we endeavor to get these two again. There are no words that can adequately express how much I recommend Motivated Movers read more

I highly recommend this moving company. From the get go, I spoke to Mr Fernando. He was very friendly and a consummate professional. He made the stressful moving easy. He had deal with my tons of questions, my changes starting with dates to location. Throughout it all, he still maintained his friendliness and professionalism. Eventually, I has to cancel the move altogether after wasting a lot of his time. This is how great he is. He still wished me good luck and did not make an issue if my cancelling. With those who are moving, you know it's a stressful time and when you have people like Mr Fernando on your side, you know you are truly blessed. If you are moving, please give them a call. I know you will not be disappointed. God Bless. read more

It was a Saturday afternoon, and I needed to get a mover for that Monday morning. I found Motivated Movers on Craigslist and had no idea what to expect. I figured I was throwing a dart at a board. But I was immediately impressed by the professionalism and responsiveness of the other person on the phone to my urgency. That was Anthony. He was pleasant and diligent. Anthony showed up as promised and the move went smoothly. My faith in good outcomes from last minute choices is restored. read more

They were pleasant, systematic and efficiently fast. They secured our furniture and we found no significant damage on any of our belongings, even the boxes were carefully loaded and unloaded. From initial contact with Anthony, to the last box this team was professional and responsive. Nothing was damaged, nothing was lost, and the pricing was competitive. We responded to a sign on Almaden expressway and we were not disappointed. They called to confirm days prior, showed up on time, and worked smart and hard. The packing of the truck was fantastic, saving time and money. I would definitely hire them again and feel fortunate to have made a cold call. read more

Last week we had Motivated Movers move us from Mountain View to San Jose. Anthony contacted me the day before our move to confirm and then reached out the morning of the move to tell me they were on their way. The team took care with our belongings while also working efficiently. We were moving from a two bedroom house with a garage and yard filled with outdoor furniture, a smoker, a grill, a washing machine, a dryer, bicycles and other large items. The move took seven hours which was great considering how much there was to move and the drive included. We would definitely use Motivated Movers again! read more

I had a great experience with Motivated Movers. I've moved many times in my life and it's never fun. But this team did things I'd never seen done before--like wrap all the door jambs so that there was no damage to doors or furniture. They were presented with a pretty nasty challenge in my new place, narrow stairs, difficult to access, and then with a sharp turn to the left or right at the top, and they carefully negotiated all those twists and turns with large pieces of furniture I wasn't sure would even make it up there at all. Polite, pleasant, thorough; they reassembled everything they had disassembled, wrapped absolutely every piece for protection--no corners were cut. Really a great service. read more

Moved from my old home to a new one within Milpitas. Called motivated movers and they gave me a competitive quote. The crew came on time. Took an inventory of everything, had me go over it and signed the paperwork. They wrapped all the pieces of furniture to avoid damage. After 7-8 hours nothing was broken and no damage to either of the homes. Would definitely recommend these guys. read more

These guys are great. I have called them twice and had a friend use them as well. The come exactly at the time they promised to show up and stayed until every last thing was moved - even though it was longer than planned. Their truck holds a ton and they have plenty of moving pads and use them. They will also let you keep them if you need them with a deposit. On top that, Anthony and Gene are super nice guys that make the move pleasant. I will use these guys again for sure. read more

Great experience, no hassles . They gave us an estimate of 6 hours and we were done in 4 hours for a 2 bedroom move. My roommate and I were extremely happy with the service. Everything was wrapped in blankets and nothing was damaged . Great Job guys ! read more

I saw their signs on the street and with only 4 reviews on Yelp to go by, I was taking a shot in the dark with them, but they didn't give me any reason to regret it. We hired them to move from our apartment to a 3-storied townhome. They were punctual and finished the job in reasonable time. Their prices are very competitive with most movers in the SF bay area. You can tell they have been doing this for a while seeing how efficiently they worked. Even though it seemed overkill to me, they took care in padding everything well. A lot of heavy suitcases and boxes needed to go all the way to the third floor and these guys did it with a smile, without any complaints. I would definitely recommend them! read more

Awesome job , the two guys that came to help us move were friendly and fast, nothing damaged and it was a pleasure working them I recommend anyone moving to have these guys help you out ! read more

I manage a storage facility in San Jose. From time to time, I have tenants ask me if I can recommend someone to help them move in or out of our facility. Because I've seen them work on so many different occasions, I feel confident recommending Motivated Movers. Just yesterday, one of my tenants had called them to move his belongings into our facility. When they arrived, I learned that there was a small delay due to a minor issue with their truck. They really stepped up, so that they didn't let our customer down, they ran down and rented a truck for the day. I wanted to share this with you, because to me this is a true sign of a business owner who cares and goes the extra mile to get the job done. Thank You Anthony and Crew! read more

Thanks so much to Mark and Joey ! They were punctual, polite, and most of all professional. Prompt, polite, conscientious, hard-working, and professional. Could not ask for more. Will definitely use them again.

Spoke to Anthony over the phone to schedule a move. The rate he quoted sounded reasonable. He gave us a reminder call the night before. Fernando and Sebastian helped us with the move. Both of them were very efficient and we were done with a 2 bedroom apartment move in 4 hours. There were four of us helping them, but they did all of the heavy lifting. They took great care to wrap our furniture in blankets whenever necessary. We were very satisfied with how smooth the move was! Hire these guys if you are moving, and don't break you back! read more
