Plug not in the hole in my tire

I came in on April 29, 2023, with one of my tires leaking air. I explained that I had purchased a contract when I purchased my vehicle that would cover the cost of any repair to my tire. I had come to this dealership before for this same reason, two years ago, and they replaced my tire without a problem. This time, I got the impression that they did not want to help me or accept the contract. I wouldn't have minded since the contract was several years old and purchased from another dealership. But, they told me they would do the work regardless and tried to convince me to get work done on my car that I did not need. Instead of turning me away or not accepting the contract, they accepted the contract. I waited at the dealership for just over an hour while they worked on my car. During my wait, I was working in the service waiting room and I saw the mechanic with my car keys talking to the man behind the service desk and they were giving me weird looks. I ignored this and assumed that they were just frustrated that I was not going to be paying for my service and the contract company was paying instead (which I am assuming is less money than I would have to pay them). When my car was finished, I was handed my keys and told that my one tire did have a leak and was "fixed" and then the man condescendingly explained how tire pressure fluctuates with the temperature outside so I really shouldn't worry if my car tire pressure changes. I was not told what was done to "fix" my tire, but I was handed my keys and got the impression that they wanted me to leave. When I went outside to my car, my girl scout cookies that I had left in the front were eaten!!! I know that the dealership is not responsible for items left in the vehicle, but eating my cookies was seriously unnecessary. I know this review is already long, but the WORST is yet to come. THE VERY NEXT MORNING THE TIRE THAT THEY "FIXED" WAS FLAT AND I HAD TO CALL AAA TO COME AND CHANGE MY TIRE. I THEN WENT TO A DIFFERENT CHEVROLET DEALERSHIP TO GET MY TIRE REPLACED. The tire was "fixed" less than 12 hours prior. When AAA came, I looked at the tire. They told the contract company that they internally patched the tire, but they did not. They put a plug into it and the plug was NEXT TO the hole NOT in the hole. I have pictures and videos of the tire. The guy who took my tire off said "This is the worst plug job that I have ever seen. They put a second hole in your tire instead of fixing the first". This led to me needing to leave work early to get my tire fixed and spending more time and money on this situation than would have been necessary if they had just actually fixed my tire or replaced it to begin with. SO. Needless to say, I will never go back to this dealership. And I highly suggest that you don't either.

Let's be realistic in saying that buying a new car sucks. The whole process takes forever, and no…read moreone truly looks forward to it. Well, Adrianna took the whole BS process out of it. From the start, working with her was super pleasant. She listened and heard what I wanted and what I needed. She worked with their team, and I ended up with exactly what I wanted at the price I felt comfortable with. There was no sales tactics or shady S**T going on and felt she was on my side from the minute I told her what I wanted. 5 stars and would give more if I could.

I have never been more disgusted with a dealership experience than I have been with Johnson Dodge…read more I brought my 2022 Jeep Grand Wagoneer in for a suspension issue and what followed was months of frustration, excuses, and wasted time. My vehicle spent over three months at the dealership, and despite multiple repair attempts, it was returned to me with the exact same issue it was originally brought in for. Even worse, it now has additional warning messages and problems that were not present before. As a customer, I was repeatedly assured that the problem had been diagnosed and repaired, only to find out that nothing had actually been resolved. After being without my vehicle for months, rearranging family plans, and dealing with constant inconvenience, I expected accountability and a genuine effort to make things right. Instead, I was met with poor communication and what felt like complete indifference to the hardship this situation caused. I am a father of four. Reliable transportation is not a luxury for my family--it is a necessity. The amount of stress and disruption this experience created was completely unacceptable. To add insult to injury, after all of this time and inconvenience, the dealership's offer to resolve the situation showed little regard for what my family and I had endured. What disgusts me most is that after months in their possession and countless opportunities to correct the problem, I was handed back a vehicle with the same unresolved issue and expected to accept it. That is not customer service. That is not standing behind your work. I trusted Johnson Dodge to do the right thing. Unfortunately, they completely failed to meet even the most basic expectations. Based on my experience, I would strongly caution anyone considering doing business with this dealership.

I will start this review by noting that I would rate the Service Department as a 4/5.... That's…read morewhere my rating changes. I went into the dealership to buyout a vehicle coming off lease. The vehicle was not originally leased at this dealership. I brought a bank check to cover the residual and state taxes. The sales person was preparing the final paperwork and then the GM and Finance MGR got involved. The Finance manager walked over and said that we will need to pay them an additional $7000+ to purchase an extended warranty, new plates and registration. I was prepared in advance with the price of a warranty. The GM and Finance mgr were trying to tell us that they need to make a profit and they have liability selling us our own car. This is not a true statement, I checked the internet and the dealership does not have any liability selling us our own vehicle. At one point we actually walked out and told them we were going to the dealer we leased the car from to finalize the deal. The GM came out after us to try and save the transaction. How desperate and pathetic can they be... He promised us that he would work with us to make us happy. He then brought us into his office to show his computer screen. The documentation fee was $999. I asked him how come it was so high considering they have spent 20 minutes with us. He told us that its customary for the industry. He said its even higher in NY. At that point he actually told us to leave since he knew that his payday with us was going nowhere. The end of the month is Saturday and a typical dealership would be busy finalizing transactions. This place was empty, no action. Seems as if they were hoping to hit a home run with us. I would NEVER recommend this dealership to buy or lease a car. Drive 25-50 miles and go to one of the larger dealers.

Don't bring your car here…read more We had our Nissan Rogue in for major front-end work starting on Friday morning. The repair itself was large, and we understood that -- but the communication throughout the 6-day process was extremely poor. We received very few updates unless we reached out, and when we asked about a loaner we were only offered a paid rental (first at $30/day, then "discounted" to $20/day). For almost a week without a car, no complimentary accommodations were offered. At one point I was told the repair couldn't be completed because our service advisor was out for a day and she was the only person who could finish the paperwork. The repair itself seems fine now that we finally have the car back, but the customer service and communication were way below expectations, especially for a multi-day, nearly $4,000 repair. Hopefully management improves the process for future customers.

Be careful what tires are on your vehicle when you purchase a vehicle here. I bought a brand new…read more2023 Rogue SV Sport here for close to $40,000. This rogue has a governor on the accelerator, so you can't go too fast really quickly. I do not speed around or beat up my car. I drive for amazon. After 20,000 miles, my factory tires are not even 14 months old after purchase. I need new tires already. I spoke to my sales rep, the service rep, and the service manager. They told me there was no warranty on the factory tires and told me to call consumer affairs for nissan. I shouldn't have to do this on a brand new car. The bottom line is if you're going to buy a car here, I guess you should be expecting them to take advantage of you, because that's how I feel about my experience. Needless to say, I won't be buying another vehicle here after feeling like this. It's ridiculous to need new tires and spending 1,000 dollars on tires after 1 year on a brand new car and only 20,000 miles. Nissan was aware of this situation being a problem and them giving you poor tires on new factory tires. Unfortunately, they pretty much told me that was my problem. I had a great experience with my sales re the woman that sold me the car "Rhee". When I purchased the vehicle, everything was smooth and enjoyable and also a fast experience. So that made me comfortable with Nissan and was hoping to build a relationship here for future purchases. Unfortunately, this tire experience has changed my thoughts. If they are willing to practice poor standards on tires service knowing this, then what else would they be willing to not stand behind?
