Mold in bathroom

Stayed one night here on our way to Idaho. There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom, mold growing on upper walls, door was broken and didn't shut all the way, the towel bar was broken and kept coming off the wall, mildew in shower caulking, front door had light and air coming in around it, so we had to shove a towel against it. Went to Bi-Mart around the corner and realized we were in the seedy part of town, there was a place the homeless druggies were hanging out. Only giving two stars because we forgot something and they were nice enough to call to let us know and hold it for us until we came back through. Never again, yuck!

Gave up on that top blanket.

The only reason I don't give this place a one star is the old gentleman (forgot his name. Prob 70+ years old) at the front desk is very very friendly. Great guy to talk to. He deserves 5 stars. It was a last min decision to stay in Bend for one night and most places were full so we ended up here. I never expect much from motels, but regardless of the cost (and this place is also not cheap anyway), cleanliness should be very essential. Our room was not clean, and I was greeted by long hair on my bed. As I inspected closely, I found lots of stains (most likely body fluid or grease) on my bed sheet and blanket. Soon I realized there is a ghetto strip club right next to this motel, and I couldn't help but think people came to this place for ONS and made a big mess. My bed was totally disgusting and I wonder if they really change the bed when customers leave. I didn't use the top cover at all because it was too dirty, but I still felt like I was covered in cum sleeping in this bed. I literally didn't move my body at all the whole night, no joke. We still left tips as we left because we are good customers although our experience was not good. I'd give up on the TV, fridge and whatever hardware they offer in exchange for a clean room/bed.

Hair in shower

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at! checked in and the front desk lady was nothing but rude. Went to my room decided to get ready to take a shower looked in the shower and there were hairs from the previous person, he room smelled like dogs, and the floor was filthy . Went to the front desk to let her know and she acted like I was putting her out, I was eventually moved to another room. The next room as well again hairs in the shower from someone else, filthy floors, dirty toilet. Do not stay at this property.

Dog friendly!!! Maximum of two dogs, no weight restrictions or extra fees.

We drove all the way from the Bay Area (California), so we did a bit of looking around before we settled on staying here. I know that there are quite a few other options in Bend, but having one large and one medium dog in tow makes it especially complicated. We weren't looking to break the bank nor were we planning on spending a majority of our time in our room. With that said, I was extremely pleased with our stay here. I've never stayed at a motel 6 before and honestly, I didn't know what to expect before we arrived. The room looked recently renovated. On top of our two queen beds (at no extra charge from one King), there was a mini fridge, microwave, mounted TV, and even a small table and two chairs! This was our first time bringing our two dogs on an actual road trip. Despite all of the nuances that occurred during the trek to Bend, the room was the saving grace of the trip. The man behind the desk was very nice. We had reserved a room for two nights but after the extremely long day that we had coming up, we didn't want to stay the extra night. After calling the front desk, they issued us a refund once we stopped by there. I was so relieved and we ended up picking up dinner and eating in our room to spare ourselves any more issues with the dogs. I also really appreciated the fact that he set us up in a room right in front of a patch of grass so that we didn't have to venture far to let our dogs do their business and pick up after them. In short, despite the trials and tribulations that our dogs put us through, motel 6 made the trip much more pleasant. I know that the area can look a bit questionable with the businesses across the street, but we didn't run into any issues with any people staying at the motel or otherwise. For the price, I feel that you're definitely getting your money's worth. So if you're traveling with two dogs, consider staying here because it's a nice place to recharge your batteries for a long road trip. The only thing that I was bummed about was that there were no toiletries or hair dryer.

Aaron at the front desk went above and beyond to make sure my stay with my kids was excellent, after a scheduling error he was able to fix the error and give us an even better room at no extra charge! Highly recommend! Customer service!

Rooms look newly remodeled

Cheap and clean. 5 stars for what it is. If you want all the bells and whistles you have to pay more for it. Clean newly remodeled rooms. New paint, new flooring. Smells clean. Plenty of pillows and towels. Free coffee in the lobby, Internet, tiny soaps... There is a pool. Nice flat screen TV. No continental breakfast, no coffee maker in your room, no shampoos or lotions. Ect... No extras. This seems to be the best hotel in Bend in this price range.

Very friendly and clean. I love that the floors are not carpeted so you know they are clean. Pets are welcomed.

Traveling with a pet can sometimes feel like a hassle, but here, it felt like my dog was just as welcomed and pampered as I was. From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted my dog with genuine warmth, offering treats, a cozy dog bed, and even special amenities that made the stay feel thoughtful and personalized. It wasn't just "pet-tolerant"--it was truly pet-celebrating. The attention to detail made a huge difference, and it was clear they go above and beyond for guests with furry companions. Beyond that, the hotel itself is beautiful--modern, clean, and incredibly comfortable. The rooms are spacious, the beds are luxurious, and everything feels high-end without being pretentious. If you're traveling with your dog and want a place that treats both of you like VIPs, the Oxford Hotel is hands down one of the best choices out there. I wouldn't stay anywhere else when visiting Bend again! Also, the coffee in the room was excellent!!

Fantastic stay, from start to finish, top to bottom. Thank you, Oxford Bend!…read more Exceptional service by all: valet, bells, front desk, housekeeping, operator. So helpful, always friendly and with a smile. Our king room on the top floor was very well appointed and squeaky clean. Huge TV, big soaking tub plus separate shower and WC (having the toilet in its own room is so nice). Loved the soap menu(!) as well as the stainless steel French press and not one or two but three different roast options for morning coffee. Enjoyed the sauna and hot tub in the fitness center. They also have a steam room and various exercise machines and weights in the space with an expansive view of downtown Bend. I would love to return to this fine hotel whenever I find myself back in Bend. It was a most wonderful home away from home for a few days.

Campfire Hotel - Lack off black out curtains sucked.

Summary: Cons: bad…read moreinternet, cleanish, outdated bathroom fixtures, can be loud, few convenient outlets, limited breakfast options Pros: fridge and microwave in room, spacious room, cute decor details Details: The Campfire Hotel is right in town. It's not a hotel but a MOTEL, as the doors to the rooms face the outside. The big "campfire" centerpiece of the hotel is a fire pit in the parking lot. They seem to spend more money on decoration than the infrustructure, trying to appeal to a hipster crowd. I felt bad for the front desk staff trying to check in a long line of guests because the computer system was very slow and we all waited a long time. I am writing this review on my phone while waiting for my computer to load because the internet keeps going in and out, and when it is working, it is VERY slow. Also, the bathroom area is outdated. My sink is cracked, the toilet seat is peeling, and the shower is dripping all night. The cleaning is suspect, as I found old contacts on the bedside lamp. The furniture choices are uncomfortable: a fuzzy stool for the desk and metal chairs for the table. The desk and fridge are full of snacks and beer for purchase (not my thing but maybe others appreciate?). The outlets by the bed and desk are used up by the lamps. No extra towels in room. I haven't tried the pool area yet.

I did go to my car and there were 4 younger guys still hanging outside drinking and smoking at 11:30pm at night but my unit has a great fan and I didn't hear them. Another con which sucked was their shades aren't black out curtains. They need to upgrade those. I couldn't even bring them to fully cover my window. Also the wall paper has some cowboys staining me to bed all night and watching the bedroom magic happenings.... Or lack there of

First the good. The location can't be beat if you're coming for a concert. We also had one of the…read morenicest and most helpful people at check-in (didn't get her name). The common areas seem well kept, my daughter also really enjoyed the pool. The bad: Parking: Charging $20 a night for parking when they don't actually regulate the parking is criminal. While I did know about the fee we witnessed people parking and walking down to the concert. When I told the front desk they didn't care. So if I'm actually paying for a room why should I pay to park?! They should be paying to park for the event. The Room: One bedroom "suite" w balcony. The balcony was DISGUSTING. Dirt all over (from what? There weren't any plants anywhere nearby. )Bird feathers and also garbage. We ended up not even using the balcony. This should be cleaned when rooms are cleaned- period. The pull out sofa our daughter used was soooo pitiful. When making the bed for her the mattress was so gross looking. It was also paper thin, the noise of coils every-time she moved was so annoying. The couches look and sound worn out. Now we figured hers looked like that but surely ours wouldn't, this is a one bedroom "suite". Our mattress was also so uncomfortable, coil noises anytime we moved. Cheap, cheap, cheap. Now mind you this room wasn't cheap. You also don't get any sort of housekeeping. Nobody refreshing towels or emptying garbage. Is this some sort of "green" scam? The bathroom shower also needed some major love, massive cracks where there shouldn't be any. The fridge in the room would make the most horrendous noises. Overall, you charge a lot because you can, but you need to reinvest into the property. Things need to be updated and replaced. We can't wait to come back to Bend for another show, but we won't be staying here, this property misses the mark.

Negative 5 star…read more Highly recommend staying here if you want to find yourself locked out with a keycard that doesn't work (which happened to other guest before based on reviews) and with no after hours phone number to call. Add: hotel never reached out after incident. EVER.

Have stayed here once before and dismissed some of the quirks that time (an older room, 1st edition…read moreflat screen tv, etc) to the benefit of a larger room, and getting the free drink when you check in. However this time when checking in my keycards worked so went to dinner but when returning neither of them worked anymore so couldn't access my room and the hotel wasnt staffed after 8pm (I got back around 930). The main entrance door lock didnt work (security issue for an unstaffed hotel) so at least I was able to stay in the lobby while trying to figure out what to do. They have an emergency assistance number of the front desk to call but no one answers it so after multiple unanswered calls and voicemails to that resorted to calling misc numbers on post it notes behind the counter. One of those ended up in being maintenance who was able to get a hold of his manager who then got a 3rd party security to let me in. During all this another mom and daughter returned to also find their keys no longer worked as well. Once back in the room there was sounded like running water from the unit above all night long. Their is a counter over the back of toilet so the lid only stays up if you are seated holding it up with your back. One of the bedroom lamps hasnt been cleaned in a long time with the amount of bugs on the inside. When checking out in the morning noted the keycard issue which staff was very dismissive of me being locked out and them not answering their phone saying yeah they deactivate then with a list of items that will deactivate them such as phone, credit cards, etc. The keycards I had always kept in a separate pocket from those items as when checking in they mentioned to not keep by wallet or phone. Continental breakfast is subpar in comparison to the other hotels of a similar price point. Free parking with a parking lot is nice.
