Thank you for your response. However, I want to clarify that my concerns are based on my direct…read moreexperience, not a misunderstanding. At no point did I have meaningful interaction with professional staff. The individuals receiving my child each class appeared to be students themselves, and I was never introduced to or engaged by an instructor. That lack of visibility and communication contributed significantly to my concerns. Additionally, describing my child as "sassy" felt both inaccurate and inappropriate. If there were any behavioral concerns, I would have expected clear, timely, and constructive communication rather than a label that does not reflect her character or our experience. More importantly, programs like yours should have experienced instructors who are equipped to teach, guide, and help shape children--not label them and write them off. I also want to emphasize that while I understand programs may prioritize competitive tracks, recreational participants still deserve structure, engagement, and a pathway for growth. A better balance--and a more intentional onboarding or orientation process--would go a long way in helping families feel informed and supported from the start. My intention in sharing this feedback is not to dispute for the sake of it, but to highlight areas that could be improved for future families. There are so many programs that we could consider. I wrote so that it brings light to you that there could be some improvements.

Students learn moves and techniques but add their own twists putting them together in combinations. They can adapt moves to their strengths, abilities, and styles. Each coach we've tried has brought something unique and positive. They are great breakers but are also good at teaching those skills to others with positive, patient, and supportive attitudes. My kid and the students I've watched have developed strength, stamina, quick thinking, and resilience. Participating in things like the jams (events) and open practices ("the Zone") has also given a wonderful sense of community. I've watched students from age 5 through adult start out tentative but begin to develop confidence by the third class or so. For my kid, the quiet confidence and persistence developed through breaking at All10 has spread to other activities and academic settings, too, which has been pretty awesome to watch as a parent. A lace system based on learning and mastering specific moves gives some structure and visible progress. As students progress, this is not an "instant gratification" activity. Once they get to more advanced "power" moves, it takes time to build up the strength and stamina for them. When they persist and finally nail something, others cheer their successes. If they are consistent, the results I've seen among my kids' breaking peers are impressive. They develop great mental and physical skills, but best of all, they just have fun doing so.

This is a word-class studio without peer and unquestionably the best place you can go for dance…read morelessons of any kind and at any level. DCDA is a new ballroom dance studio in Fairfax that's the home of the best dance coaches in the D.C. area. As a new facility, DCDA is incredibly bright, clean, and inviting. DCDA has a huge schedule packed with group classes for beginners through high-level competitive dancers in virtually every style under the sun - Standard (e.g. Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Quickstep), Latin (e.g. Cha Cha, Rumba, Jive, Samba), social dancing (e.g. Salsa), and even exercise dances like Zumba. Wedding dance lessons are also offered. Prices here are always extremely reasonable across the board, particularly given the quality of dance instruction and the reasonable size of the group classes. Unlike many other dance studios, DCDA makes dance fun and accessible. The classes here are detailed without being overwhelming and invigorating without being exhausting. As such, beginners can learn a lot without being intimidated, and experienced dancers can be challenged without becoming bored. Because everyone here is - without exception - friendly and talented, there are no awkward moments. Rather, there's a sort of intoxicating accessibility to classes here that I've never seen at any other studio: even the most relatively complicated topics are made understandable, fun, and useful. As amazing as the group classes here are, the private lessons are also amazing. The current instructors at DCDA - Lydia Petrigova and Anna Mikhed - are world-renowned competitors with a keen eye in virtually every aspect of ballroom dancing, which has led them to coach some truly amazing competitive couples. Bluntly put, their insight is worth its weight in gold. I've been working with Lydia for years now, and it's been the best thing that's ever happened to my dance career. If you have even a scintilla of interest in dance, you owe it to yourself to go to DCDA!

I was fearful that sometimes good dancers don't always make good teachers, especially for kids, who have unique needs. but Nikita and Vlad have both been amazing, and it's really always a pleasure dealing with Travis who runs the business/front desk side of things, and the director lydia is also so kind and helpful. now I've started taking group class too and it's a blast. not only are the teachers good at dancing and teaching, they make the entire process enjoyable. no matter what kind of mood we enter this place with, we always leave happy and energized.

A bus is offered to pick up our children and take them to Enshin, which in itself is relief enough, but the care they get once they're there makes us extremely happy to have Enshin in our lives. Even my kindergartener picked up the routine extremely quickly. The kids get a snack after school, can do homework or play games to decompress. Before it is time for parents to pick up, classes are held. I was happy to find out that children who attend the after-school program have the ability to progress through their belts just as someone who attended an evening class would. The first few weeks were difficult for my daughter, who was just getting used to not taking naps and now additional physical activity was thrown into the mix, but she survived and now acclimated to the change in schedule. My children have also attended one of their camps for days where the school is closed and they couldn't have been happier. They were excited to go, happy to be there when I was dropping them up, and wanted to stay more once I got there. Is there more a parent could ask for? I don't think so. The price is only slightly higher than Fairfax County SACC for two children but when you factor in that this is both childcare and a sports activity, it far surpasses SACC in value. You can sign-up for a yearly or month-to-month contract. The yearly contract gives you the best rates for days where schools are closed. It is also great to know that they pick up the children at the required time for early releases, scheduled or unscheduled caused by weather. I know my children are happy and safe with Enshin, and I'm happy with Enshin.

It checked all my boxes of being clean, diverse, and a learning environment but it also was organized. I appreciated that each room had a picture and description of each teacher including their background and how long they have worked there. I also loved that there was a dry erase board with information on next diaper and next bottle. As any new parents, we were nervous about the care anyone would provide that wasn't us. Now being at Chesterbrook for over 6 months with our son, I would absolutely recommend it to anyone! The cleanliness and organization continue to stand out, along with the teachers and principals kindness and love to not only our son but the other children there. They use an app called Links2Home and we get 4-6 pictures on average of our son throughout the day. Communication through the app with the teachers and principals have been quick and responsive to our requests. Recently we had asked them to switch the order in which he eats, bottles first then solids and they adapted within the next feeding time for our son. This past Friday they had a petting zoo and give us monthly finger paintings our son has done. It's difficult to allow someone else to watch your only child but I will say I have seen him blossom and become so social with others as well as seeing his natural joy be nourished with the same love that my partner and I give. Love this place!!
