Me and my sister attended this place for classes as kids and at the time it felt so amazing. The instructors were the best and we had a great time, but I had to stop for a while and then I went back just for a trial class and it seems that things have changed drastically. The teachers were very harsh and judgmental. The place seemed to be a lot less colorful as it seemed when I was younger an overall the experience just wasn't that great. I do wish I could say that it was the same as it felt when I was younger, but those words just don't fit in place. I hope to see more improvement. read more

My sister came here to attend a trial class yesterday. The coach was super patient with her and gave her a lot of pointers which made a huge difference in her form. We will be coming back for regular lessons which my sister is super excited about! read more

My granddaughter has really improved her flexibility and technique under the guidance of Coach Renee There are also other exemplary and dedicated teachers with the upper levels . A couple of instructors that I have observe over the last year in a half and who are no longer there , were out of shape (they look like they have been out of the sport for a while or the gym) and on their phones more than into the class. The owners need to be careful with who they hire. Parents do watch snd assess.... at least I do. read more

My daughter loves it. She's on the rhythmic team. She has a hard time understanding some of the coaches accents, but if they show her, she understands. The coaches are stern, which they should be. There are many kids at one time and they have a limited time to get what they need to get done. If you don't like it, then obviously you've never done a competitive sport or just stick with rec. read more

I have made a big mistake enrolling my 4.5 year old in this centre . It's really expensive compared to what they are teaching to kids. It may be good for big kids classes but for preschoolers they teach nothing same movements in every class always and always repetition every day no new moves or tricks nothing at all. I'm really disappointed with it and they don't even give refund if u change your mind and don't want to continue so if u register u r stuck.im really disappointed that kids will learn nothing; wastage of money and time. read more

I participated in the Parent and Tot trial class for kids. I didn't get any assistance from Coach Jaime and was extremely discouraged because I didn't have any support from the Coach to at least have my toddler try to participate with the other kids. I realized that my tot was too young and decided to leave within 20 minutes of the trial. I was upset that my tot didn't want to participate but also a little upset that I couldn't at least have a minute of the coaches time to try to help my toddler participate and bond with her like she did with all the other kids who actually where participating. I expected to get a phone call or an email discussing how the trail didn't go as planned and to try again in a couple months if I was still interested. But I got the complete opposite saying my toddler "Qualified for the class based on the feedback given by the coaches".. that's when I got really upset and sent an email clarifying that my toddler didn't even participate and wasn't given the time of day not even a minute of this ladies time. As a business, who's dealing with children I don't know why she wasn't careful sending those emails. I'm giving a negative review because I care who I surround my kid around. And I wouldn't want Coaches like Jaime around my 2 year old if she unprofessionally neglected to acknowledge the only kid that wasn't participating. read more

My son has been going to Gymanstics World for about a year now. He loves it and his instructor is great. One downfall is that in one year, there have been 3 GM's or owners. I'm glad that we haven't had that problem with the instructors. I do notice that there are some high schoolers who teach, but my son has a gymnastics instructor who works really well. No offense to the HS students, I just feel that the other instructors are more knowledgeable and have better teaching skills. read more

My experience at this gym has been less than favorable. I am extremely disappointed in the teaching style of a few team coaches. This has have a negative impact on my daughter's love for the sport. They need to recognize that not all kids respond well to a verbally aggressive style of coaching. They also need to work on scheduling of classes and to be committed to the days and times they set at the beginning of the competition season. There are too many recreational classes going on a the same time and this causes over crowding in the gym. read more

I had a great experience at Gymnastics World, my child loved it and I thought the classes were pretty organized.

This has been an amazing experience with gymnastics! My son, age 9, started gymnastics in "beginner boys" at the end of summer and by December, Ibsen had him ready to compete in his very first competition! He even came home with medals! The coaching is serious and quite strict, but Ibsen's coaching style is helping us build character and discipline in our son, in addition to learning advanced athletic skills. I am happy our son found a passion at a young age and we wouldn't want to go anywhere else! read more

I have a 4 year old at gymnastics world and we are coming up on our 6-month mark and I am not impressed, unfortunately I signed up during one of the "special offers" and locked into 2-years. She is on her 3rd instructor, we find out the instructor is gone when we show up for her saturday class and it's someone new. One of the main reasons I signed up was from the brochure "the coaching team focuses on developing your child's strength, balance, flexibility, coordination and self-discipline" This is not what we have experienced. When coaches change each new person has to evaluate the childs skill level and that takes time away from the learning process. While there are only 3 kids in my daughters class the coach (who is really young) may be a great gymnast, but she doesn't show the children how to do things and they do them wrong over and over again. She asked my daughter to show the other 2 boys how to do something that my daughter was clearly doing wrong and she sat on the side and said arms up. Parent's are not allowed on the mat area, which is great I am not the expert, but the coach should take charge of the class and insist the kids follow their lead. I'm disappointed and stuck for another 18 months, but it is a bargain and will give her something to do on Saturday's with bad weather. While I see older kids with excellent gymnastics skills the coaches seem more hands on and will show students what they are doing wrong. My daughters coach in swim lessons (who also instructs 3 students) will show them over and over again until they get it and the classes are only 30-minutes long. read more

I have had my 4 1/2 year old at Youth Sports and Apollo. We've finally found a home at gymnastics world. Ibsen Noguera is a terrific coach. He is very stern with kids, insisting that they pay attention and work hard but he is endlessly patient and has a natural ability to work with children. I'm amazed at what my daughter has learned and at her enthusiasm for her classes. In the rest of the gym there is a lot of gymnastics training going on and not much drama. If your a diva parent this is not the place for you. If your interested in your kids learning something check it out. read more

I love this place! Wonderful facility, instructors, and staff! My daughter is blossoming here and I couldn't be happier with her progress. The instructors are knowledgeable, invested, and stern, but caring. They genuinely want to see your children succeed. There are multiple classes to choose from and they evaluate each child's progress roughly every quarter to ensure that they're receiving the proper level of attention and instruction. Lastly, they don't lock you into any type of contract. You pay monthly depending on your child's class type and level (number of classes they attend per week and length of the class). Therefore, if they move up a level, their class length and number of times they attend per week will increase, as will the monthly fee. However, if they don't want to move up, or if the parent doesn't want them to move up, they don't have to. And they're not forced to join team if they don't want to,either. There's a ton of flexibility! I highly recommend this gym! read more

I initially gave this place 5 stars... and now it is down to 1. I had my daughter in the rhythmic program and it was wonderful for a while. Then the coach left and all sorts of random people, including the lady "volunteer" who answers the phone was teaching the class. Then we tried the pre-team... and there the newly imported Ukrainian coach was working mainly with the children of the lady who answers the phone. Also, the ages of the so called pre-team were all over the map, from 5 to 15 so the younger ones mainly sat around. The cherry on the cake was when I was told I would need to start paying a team fee if my kid goes to pre-team. Yeah, right... my kid was nowhere close to being able to compete so why would I pay the fee? Over all, I am sadly disappointed. The trainer of the rhythmic team is great but if your daughter is anything below that level, then save your money or try a different type of gymnastics. read more

Me and my daughter LOVE this place!! We have been at this gym for almost 2 years now and I am just truly amazed at how much my daughter has learned from her coaches. The whole staff is just wonderful and really go above and beyond to help the girls achieve and surpass their goals. Also I could ask for a better administration team, they really help go above the call of duty not only with the gymnast but also the parents. read more

My child trained at this gym for several years in the aerobic gymnastics program, and I could not be more pleased with the instructors and the training received. What a remarkable improvement in strength, aerobic conditioning, flexibility and agility! We received training from world class instructors and became part of a wonderful team in which the kids really enjoyed and supported each other. I was sad to leave, but my child decided to participate in another sport, and I could not support both. The training received at this gym provided a wonderful base for success in the next sport (competitive cheer). This gym also has an incredible rhythmic gymnastics program. read more

My 6 year old and 10 year old went to a week long gymnastics camp. It was VERY disappointing. They did not learn ANY gymnastics. They would warm up and stretch forever, play group games, eat snack, play board games, and sit around waiting to do something. When they finally did a little "gymnastics", most of the time was spent waiting in line for your turn as there were ~18 kids and two instructors. The "gymnastics" consisted of jumping down the tumble track, hanging on the bars, walking on the low beam, and doing forward rolls. It was so ridiculous and infuriating to watch my athletic 6 year old and 10 year old standing in line with a bunch of 4 year olds waiting for their turn to do a forward roll. I specifically asked when I signed up if they would be grouped by ages/ability and was assured yes they would be. When we get there (one week after I signed up), I asked about it and was told that they don't separate by age anymore because the younger ones didn't like being in the "baby" group. If you want a day care for your 4-5 year old, this is your place. If you actually want your child to learn gymnastics, look elsewhere! read more
