The instructors were great and I would go there again. The basketball program was amazing. And the speed and agility was great.

Entertainment - 5/5 Facilities - 3/5…read more We signed my 4-year old daughter for swim lessons and this place has been great. Their staff is incredibly friendly. It only took my girl 3 lessons to go from being scared in the water to floating in the bathtub. The staff also do a great job giving parents updates and making the kids feel special when they move to the next level. The pool itself is also nice and big - with a large space for the young kids to learn while the older kids have three lanes to do real swimming in. They also offer affordable camps and have a shop with ample swim gear. I also like that parents have the option of sitting at the pool deck to really be up close and personal with their kids. That said, there are things to improve. They really jam a lot of people in there, so social distancing for the kids in COVID is basically impossible (especially those in the swimming lanes). It also often takes 20 minutes or more to get out because so many classes end at the exact same time and there simply isn't enough space to accommodate about 40 people trying to shower and change at once. The locker room in general could use a big upgrade as there are far too few changing stalls and toilets for the amount of people. At a bare minimum, it would be great if they had one or two of those swimsuit driers so we didn't have to cart wet gear home. But again, the main theme is that there is an awesome staff, nice pool, and great lessons. The service can't be beat!.

We have some of the best teachers I've ever seen. We do NOT do fast food, I bust my butt every day putting out homemade, healthy, well balanced meals. (Yes I am the chef). Of course, life happens and I might become ill and call out, but then and only then will PWA need to get something "fast". I personally take umbrage in what was written by "Martha J & A.J". These two are obviously out to trash PWA, and I say that it's a former employee because, there was information written that only the staff would know. They'd best be careful...untruths, and putting peoples last names our there is NOT cool. My experience at PWA for 5 years and counting is great. The staff work harder than ever to keep this place at the top out our game. All students here excel and none are bullied by staff. NONE, that's an out and out lie! I plan on being here until retire. Administration always has time to listen and fix any situation that arises. They expect us to go above and beyond, and I say, why not? Let's set a higher standard for education. All this being said, I am here defending the establishment that I have grown to love working for, and I appreciate them employing me!

Multiple complains to the principal resulted in NOTHING! Only a check mark talk with the offenders and the vicious cycle goes on. It's a disgrace that teachers only promote their favorites to win competitions like Science fair. The middle school drastically lacked any fun or engaging events, fundraisers or activities that encouraged team work and inclusion of parents. There was only one field trip throughout the year and no promised end of year concert that even public schools have. The end of year award ceremony was unfairly selective. Throughout the year we got Zero photos from any teacher showing a school day, so it feels like this year just fell out equation with no memories to look back to. There's no graduation ceremony for 5th graders either, which they truly deserve. Since the new owner took over, the school environment (especially in upped grades) is rapidly deteriorating. And it's not surprising, the owner lives outside the country and rarely shows up. My gut feeling was right when I checked the school website before we enrolled and it was generic. And that's how this year felt, generic! A generic website with no teacher names, stock photos of students, there's nothing there that shows actual student life or curriculum or shows any photos of the teachers. This place is about squeezing every dollar they can from paying parents, while failing on delivering the fair support and equal opportunities every student deserves.

They have a separate area for homework and transportation from the area schools. As far as TKD, much of the curriculum is focused on testing for the next color belt. This is where my review gets negative. As long as a student shows up to classes, they will get a belt. We paid $45 every 6 weeks for their promotion test. This is besides the monthly fee. Not every student will acquire the same level of skill, nor effort, but everyone is "encouraged" to take the test. No one "fails" the test. Hence, when the $450 fee for the black belt comes, and you wonder if you're just buying the belt... Be mindful that for a black belt, in other martial art disciplines a student needs many, many more years of experience and a certain level of maturity. Is a 10-yr old a true black belt? Not really. But consider that most TKD academies in the region follow a similar business model. The masters that have served this particular location have changed. Some are more skilled than others, but good and engaging overall. Not every parent can be happy though. I've had parents bring up situations of apathy and/or favoritism several times. Also, except with after-school sutdents (they pay more), if anything comes up, don't expect management communicate much with parents. We hardly received e-mails and then wondered what they just didn't reach out to us. My advice is to shop around and ask other parents.

From our first visit to the present day, Kelsey has delivered a fresh, fun, and challenging injury prevention and strength/conditioning routine that has allowed me to get back on the court AND stay on the court. Her thorough knowledge, expertise, and innate ability to adapt to my individualized needs has been a huge factor in my ability to bounce back from a history of injuries that were preventing me from competing in my favorite sport. Hands down, hiring Kelsey is one of the best decisions I made in 2025 and in the beginning of 2026! Thank you to Kelsey for her commitment to excellence and for all her help. There should be a clothing requirement as that is so unsanitary how she spreads her cheeks across that room and makes everyone leave. Members should not be subjected to this to use a OneLife gym. I've never experienced this at any other gym which is why i felt the need to write this. This gym could use better management and hours that are not so restricting giving the traffic in this area.
