First timer at Chicken n' pickle tonight. This location is more about pickleball than it is about…read morethe food. Really great facility and the ambience is fun! We came Saturday night (10 - midnight) and reserved the indoor court via the website. We initially reserved an hour and had so much fun that we stayed for two. We were a party of six - mix of older and young adults and teenagers. Facility provides paddles and balls at extra cost, however you can bring your own if have them. The courts were all full and it didn't feel overcrowded; it's spacious. Music selection and volume was great and the temp in the facility is just right. You can work up a sweat and it's not hot inside. They also have water available in coolers and refill stations at no additional cost. The outdoor area is cool with lounge chairs, turf grass, covered outdoor courts, bean bag games, and oversized games like jenga and connect 4. However, like the prior reviews, the food is mediocre. We ordered the cheeseburger with fries, fried pickles, and two specialty drinks. Staff was friendly and refunded a non alcoholic beverage that someone in my party didn't like without hassle. I will definitely come back. Cool spot to bring family from out of town especially if the group is looking for an activity.

I cannot believe this is my first time coming here…read more Atmosphere/Ambiance - 5/5 - This area is very close to the Hub, where I think most people up north know that area. This place has 2 open area courts and then a few that are covered (in a building). It has a large play area for the kids, and also have plenty of seating both indoor and outdoor. Staff - 5/5 - Very Friendly. They explained the process regarding both Pickleball court reservations and the main reason why we were there (V day event). Food/Drink - We came on Sunday, which is their Sunday brunch $26 from 10 am - 2 pm). We had the following (at the buffet): - The kid's 'table' had cheese pizza and HUGE tenders. Both were great. - Mini Salmon Avocado Toast - 5/5 - These get refilled, but go by fast. - Omelet station - Plenty of toppings to choose from. - Smoked Salmon - 5/5 - This is where you get your money's worth. - Waffles - Great for the kids. - There are additional stations in the back that had scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, fruits and pastries (along with ice cream) Last but not least, they have $1 mimosas. However, you must purchase the buffet before indulging. Overall, this place has everything from pickleball to great food and drinks. Will definitely be back.

We ordered all the types of fries- truffle, sweet potato, and regular. They were so delicious and perfectly cooked to a crisp. We also ordered the queso/pico/chips plate. The queso was creamy, spicy, and delicious. It pairs perfectly with the fries. They also offered great NA options. We downed our drinks and ate some fries and took the rest to go. I would come back next time I have more time in town!

Rebecca the hostess was awesome and introducing us to everything and making sure we got set up for our night. The food and drinks were excellent! Highly recommend making a reservation for a table! It's $15 a person for 90 minutes...we had 11 people and time flew, but it was the perfect amount of game play time for all of us! The entire vibe of this place was so cool! We were amazed at how much space there is. The back room got pretty tight when we first arrived since there was a group of 12 there already....they had taken over the tall tables in the middle and the couch. We slowly spread out and then their time was up about half way through ours so it wasn't as cramped. But it's still such an awesome set up we couldn't stop talking about it the next day!

Top to bottom one of the best restaurants in Dallas. For starters we had the Ceviche Chincharron,…read morewhich was amazing! I also got to try a chicken empanada which was very well done too. For entrees I ordered their braised short rib. I am a short rib snob, so believe me when I tell you that this was the best short rib I ever had. For dessert, I had the Tres Leches, which was amazing! The service was also on point, and the interior decorations were quite beautiful. An amazing restaurant that deserves more than only five stars! I can't recommend it highly enough!!!

We decided to check this place out for date night and the menu had us excited…read more When we arrived on a Tuesday it was empty, but we didn't mind, and we chose to sit outside since it was a nice day. We only saw 2 workers the whole time we were there which made sense with how slow it was. Ordered some drinks and they were not the best. My partner did not enjoy his at all since it was basically just margarita mix. We quickly noticed that the prices on the menu were modified, handwritten new prices with pen on paper than was then taped over the old prices, with many dishes having increased by $5 compared to the prices shown on their website. We get it, inflation has been crazy, but that seemed drastic. The food was fine but in our opinion definitely not worth the increased prices. My dish (Rib Eye) was a good portion size and the flavor was fine, but it didn't blow my mind. The Arroz Poblano was a very sad portion size. Service was very slow throughout our whole visit, which is wild because we were the only ones there. An explanation on the delay between drop ins would've been nice. Sadly it just didn't meet our expectations and I'm not sure we will return. Maybe it was an off day for them, because many other reviews are filled with praise, but as of now we'll just opt for other Latin food spots we know.
