Well, all 3 of those sites had dirty rooms, dirty linens, or other issues with cleanliness. 2 of them had bedbugs in my room which caused me to have to change rooms. That's why my experience was 0 (good hotel) for 3 (bad hotel). What about the Days Inn by Wyndham Paris? Well, my 5 star rating should give you some clue. The staff could not have been friendlier, but most importantly, the hotel is clean and well-maintained. I had an end room on the first floor and along with it being a nice and spacious room, it was clean and modern. There is a sizable parking lot and I was able to park my rental car in front of my room for convenience. On the side, there are large parking spaces that are big enough to park big rigs and trucks with trailers. There is a gas station next door and also a Subway on the other side of the parking lot which is within convenient walking distance of my hotel room. I had no issues with this hotel like I described earlier. If my previous experiences were as good as this location, then I wouldn't have had such a bitter taste in my mouth when it comes to a Days Inn. I almost feel like they should call this a "Days Inn Premiere" or something like that. It was that good. My weeklong experience here was such a pleasant one and it just goes to show what happens when management and ownership actually care about hotel guests as people and not as a source of revenue. Way to go Days Inn team! I would absolutely recommend this location if you need to stay in a hotel in Paris, TX. It is modern, clean, and a nice hotel with awesome staff. You won't be disappointed.
