At Most of the Tee-boxes I needed a hammer just to get my tee in the ground deep enough to hold a ball. The greens were very rough and most had large patches of dirt in the middle of them. My husband and I stayed at this motel in June. We had an absolutely horrendous experience. The…read moremattress was infested with bed bugs. We did not realize it until the next morning. I had multiple bites, my husband was completely ravaged and had an allergic reaction to the bites. I went back to the room and checked the mattress and found that they had a bedbug cover on the mattress that clearly was compromised in some way. We spoke with the front desk and manager, Harry. They were apologetic at the time and assured us we would receive a refund. We booked through priceline and were told to request the refund through them and that they would approve it. We requested the refund through priceline, who have tried multiple times to reach out to the manager, Harry for approval. He has not responded or honored our refund. We are requesting a refund of our night's stay, and warning other guests, DO NOT stay at this location. They have an infestation issue and are clearly unwilling to address it with their victims/guests.

This time I had some elders that wanted to go but the trip out of town was hard enough, let alone a boat ride, and the drive home. well after looking on line I found Rawhide boat Rental in Arthur City. Bill and his wife are a great team. Now I have to say without "getting mushy" how Bill went out of his way to insure us a good time... I told yall I was in the company of some elders, well one of our passengers( my 78 year old mom) had a difficult time getting on the boat so there was Bill and my Husband lifting her on board!! talk about helpful, without his assistance she probably wouldn't have gotten to go on the boat!!! The area Pat Mayes Lake is beautiful. water was perfect plenty of shade but the boat ride was magical. our passengers were age range 1yr-78yrs. and all in between everyone had a blast. thank you Bill and Rawhide Boat Rental at Pat Mayes Lake in Authur City Texas. Minutes away from Hugo Oklahoma . That's where we were so how convenient.
