It was on my last visit that I finally took home a few pieces and they are so beautiful, I am sure they won't be my last from here. The shop is a mix of works by several different students and even the owner. I am actually currently drinking my tea out of a mug I got here that I believe was made by the owner herself! It was a splurge gift to myself that I don't regret at all. On that trip I also picked up a beautiful bowl for my mom. It had a swirly almost scallopy rim and such a gorgeous blue glaze. And it was so affordable! This is why I pop in so frequently, there is always something new to admire or maybe even take home. Happy to have them in town to stop into and find incredible, handmade, unique pieces! And maybe eventually I will try my hand at another wheel class one day as well.

I was the only one taking the class so it went by pretty quickly. The instructor is so nice and really explains each topic well. She asks you questions to make sure you understand the content in order to apply it to the emergency situation. Her questions all help with the test at the end. She's friendly and approachable, so don't be afraid to ask questions! The mannequins have become more high tech from when I last did my BLS certification. There's an app that can measure the depth and rate you're performing your compressions. I think that's pretty cool! In terms of cleanliness/infection control, we were wearing masks. I only removed my mask momentarily when I was performing rescue breaths. All equipment was wiped down and disinfected after the course. Hand sanitizer was also available. I felt safe with the proper precautions taken. Overall, I highly recommend getting your certification done here! The whole experience was pleasant.

Second, I called the 800 number and was informed that the instructor had "car trouble" and the class was not going to be taught. Last, I was never contacted even though they had my cell number and email address. This organization is very unprofessional... go with the Red Cross or YMCA classes.
