We were looking for breakfast and wanted anything better than Denny's. Found Mo's and we were seated quickly into a comfy window booth with shields between them. It was crowded with what I guessed were happy return customers, and the place seemed to have some history. I wanted something vegetarian (not vegan) and ordered these amazing quesadillas. The tortilla was soft and flakey and fresh- not greasy and stale. The cheese was melted to a perfect gooey-ness and I loved every bite. Fresh home style potatoes plus sour cream and salsa. A tad slow on service when it wasn't peak breakfast hours, but this was a good find in general. The prices are fantastic. The location is easy to maneuver in and out of. Servers were friendly. It's not bad for the money you pay. It took a while for a server to take our drink orders, but she handed us the complimentary coffee cake. I was grateful to get a free slice, but it seems to be a "love it" or "hate it" deal. I can understand the negatives: dry, too sweet, and too crumbly. The icing was good though, and the coffee cake is delicious with a nice, hot cup of black coffee. Sadly, this place doesn't offer mimosas though, and on our visit- they were out of orange juice, at a breakfast establishment... yikes. My boyfriend ordered the 8 oz. NY steak that arrived with over-medium eggs, potatoes, and super delicious toast. I went with an early riser special with corned beef hash, potatoes, and an over-medium egg. The steak was just okay. Nothing to wow about. It at least arrived medium, as ordered. The flavor was just meh. The eggs were cooked and seasoned perfectly. The potatoes were delicious up until a point where we both started tasting peas... though there were no peas in the potatoes. My corned beef hash was good, tasted like Hormel out of the can. No complaints though. It was crispy! The breakfast food is decent. Many people definitely dine here and most likely enjoy the fair pricing. The service is good but slow. What a gem! The menu is giant so there is something for everyone. My husband got a breakfast sandwich and I got the Swedish pancakes with ligonberries on top. My wife likes the Golden Fried Chicken and Waffles. I have never had chicken and waffles but my wife said hers were really good. Definitely a staple of me and my wife when we want to grab brunch. I went here for brunch with friends this past weekend. I ordered the chicken and waffles. My friend had a burger and fries and the kids had various pancakes dishes. Pros: we had a party of 8 and they were able to accommodate us quickly with outdoor dining on a busy Sunday. That is awesome when you have one toddler and a bunch of hungry teenagers lol! They give you a warm coffee type cake as an appetizer. My friend and her kids enjoyed their food. They give you four large pieces of fried chicken with the chicken and waffle dish. The service was very good. Con: the appetizer cake they cave was a bit bland. Most of it was left on the table. My fried chicken was okay. But it was the only enjoyable think on my plate. The waffle had absolutely no flavor. Very bland. Could have used some vanilla, or some type of flavoring but it was not good. I drowned it in syrup but I just couldn't eat it. I only ate the chicken. I made everyone try it and my friend said she would rather an eggo waffle. Maybe waffles just aren't their specialty. I would visit again to try one of their other dishes. My husband and I stopped here for breakfast on our way home to LA. We sat outside and Amber was our server. She was super friendly and brought us complimentary house coffee cake while we prepared to order; what a nice touch! Amber recommended the chicken enchilada omelette so we split that and fruit. My pictures are from different times I've come here. My boyfriend and I like coming here for chicken and waffles. I think it's the best in Temecula. It is not as consistent as I would like but I still like it. The waffles are usually soft but I have had dry and hard waffles. Same with the chicken, usually they are juicy but I've had dry ones as well. They still taste good so I am a bit forgiving... also because I like the setting and the service is fantastic. I also like the complementary coffee cake. We never had to wait and we get seated right away and we come around brunch time on weekends. Went here on a Sunday morning and got seated within 30 minutes, which is fantastic! The waitress was super friendly and the complimentary coffee cake was really good. Although my husband had wished it was sweeter. That's what the 3 stars are for, the waitress! The food: My husband ordered the classic French toast, over medium eggs, and sausage. He was not a fan of the French toast. He thought it was very bland! He didn't even finish the whole thing. He did love the eggs!!! I ordered a cheese and sausage omelette with potatoes, and a biscuit with gravy on the side. The omelette was not great. It was very cheesy, but the eggs themselves were not fluffy, it was more like an egg patty from McDonald's texture. The potatoes were cooked great and the biscuit was good. Food was meh, a little bit pricey for normal breakfast food but that could have also been the location. I wish there was more the crab cake Benedict, a garnish or something. Potatoes were bland to me but to each their own preference. We also got pancakes, eggs, and sausage and it was just another meh moment. Could have just been what we ordered or a busy Sunday!
