We didn't get offered the coffee cake and the waitress was giving too much PDA to a customer or boyfriend. The management must not have been there because I would have not let my staff behave that way while a table or two were watching because it was right in front of the bar area. My biggest complaint is the service, Megan our waitress was rude. She got visibly annoyed after having to remake my meal because she incorrectly took down my order. The eggs came back overcooked. She forgot to bring us an extra fork and bring my toast (received about 15min into everyone eating their food). As I'm leaving she gave me a nasty look, made me feel uncomfortable. An attitude adjustment is necessary to succeed in the customer service industry. The first time I went to Mo's it was awesome, service was a little slow, but the restaurant was packed, so it was to be expected. First time the coffee cake and food was fantastic... Fast forward to today. Went there with my dad, the coffee cake was ok... tasted a little under cooked. One server came over and took our drink order, she asked if we were ready to order, we said yes and then she walked away. She walked back by and dropped off the drinks we had ordered in such a hurry that she splashed water from my drink on the table and didn't even stop to see it. When my dad stopped her and asked for more plain creamer (he doesn't like the flavored stuff), she snatched the bowl off the table and dug through it, grabbing all of the flavored creamers and putting them on the table, then handing the bowl with a few plain creamers to my dad. We placed our food order with someone else, and it came out promptly, and tasted fine. During the meal I had to ask twice to have my water refilled, and 3 times before anyone refilled my dad's coffee, the worse part was it wasn't even busy. We discovered Mo's when we moved here two years ago. I love it because it's consistent - exactly the same every time, the hallmark of a good dining establishment. We always go very early, to avoid long wait times. The service is warm and friendly, too. I always get the same thing: Veggie omelette with house potatoes - so big, I get 3 meals out of it. Sometimes I splurge and also order the Peaches & Cream French Toast - unbelievably delicious!!! Hubby loves their eggs benedict, and we enjoy their coffee, too. We recommend Mo's to all of our out-of-town guests, and they rave as well. Hint: Don't sit near the door leading to the outside dining patio, because it's very loud and annoying every time it slams shut (and that's often)! This place is trash sorry, just went there with my boyfriend on Wednesday got a cinnamon roll French toast and it didn't taste like either cinnamon rolls or French toast I couldn't put my finger on it so I sent it back and my waiter had such an attitude on going to the kitchen and giving it back. Went here after checking out of our resort & needed a meal to get us on the road. We had to wait about 25 minutes for a table for 5 which wasn't too bad for 10am on a Sunday morning. Staff was very nice. Food was good. My husband had Chicken Enchilada Omelet which was good but it needed more sauce, I would just ask for more & would be fine. We always stop at this restaurant when we are in Temecula. I love it. Weekends are crowded with other fans, but the weekdays are wonderful. Ok-for right now I am just doing 3 stars because there are some issues but nothing major. They are new and getting the kinks worked out. We have been here twice. The first time I ordered the Eggs Benedict Florentine and a salad. First the eggs benedict tasted great. Spinach was fresh, hollandaise is really nice, smooth and tangy. One of my poached eggs was a little under done-some clear whites still which kind of grossed me out but other than that it was really good. The salad was another story! The dressing was awful-found out it was from a bottle from the owner-yuck! She was great though and promised she would start doing homemade and that she started with the bottled on recommendation from someone but everyone was complaining about it. She comped us the salads. We just went for breakfast again today and the dressing is now homemade and tastes great! She definately took care of that problem. Only prob was the salad was to wet ( I mean a big puddle of water in the bottom of the bowl!) and the server took forever to get it to us and then not even 5 mins after getting our salad the food was already on the table. My bf was really PO'd and told the owner and the server to make sure they give people enough time to eat the salad- the owner was really gracious, talked with her server and ultimately comped us our salads again! I ordered their seafood omelet /eggwhites only and I have to say it was pretty darn good! Real crab and real lobster-quite a bit of the crab too-not lump of course but was tasty-fresh spinach and tomatoes with a little cheese and once again a nice hollandaise. My daughter got a burger that was pretty good. Very fresh tasting meat-tasted like a homemade burger not some frozen thing! The owner is very sweet, eager to please her customers and very gracious. Even when my bf raised his voice (which I was not happy about) she was calm and I think appreciates the feedback-at least I hope she does! Give it a try. Oh, and the place is very clean and cute.
