    Chicken cutlet sandwich

Morton Williams is a good stop to get packaged goods or like a bottled drink and maybe even cold cuts. I wouldn't get the chicken cutlet sandwich again as it has no flavor and the chicken empanada I tried was okay (better places to get an empanada in the city). I would pick up small items here while passing by to cook at home or if I needed to get something quick from the store.

Love this Market, everything is fresh, good organic produce/fruits selection, deli is my fav here. Sandwich, wrap, salad, pasta, soup, even sushi are all making it fresh daily. Love the Chicken Matzo Ball soup, the turkey sandwich, Cherry pie and the spicy chicken wrap, all was solid. Jam packed during peak hour, especially the Che input area, it's rough here! Especially during this pandemic, so if you are not comfortable with the crowd, shop when it's off-peak.

    dogs in the grocery store

I do not like to see all the dogs in a grocery store all the time. Do not try to say these are service dogs.

I came here today for their Hot/Cold Buffet at $8.49lb. I asked one of the staff members where I can get one of those containers. Damn, it was hidden on the sides of the buffet table...very convenient! I made two rounds on the hot buffet. Holy moly mmmm Grilled Steak not like other spots was they cut them up....at Morton's you get a whole one. I lined up by the cashiers till someone calls next. I was shocked that my food cost under $7 along with my whole Grilled Steak...mmmm come to mama *carnivore mode* haha. Spacious upstairs seating and leather chairs. They got fully stocked utensils if you forgot to grab from the buffet table and also a microwave. I love the Grilled Steak so flavorful but the Fish dishes were bland. Note: Avoid sitting at those two-seaters because it's right by the restrooms so you won't vomit from the smell unless you like the smell haha

    dessert anyone?

Just ok. Always well stocked but the prices are outrageously high. Conveniently located in midtown though which is good.

Friendly staff, lots of selection, well maintained grocery store. The 24 hour schedule is great to pick up some after midnight munchies.

I'm kind of mad at myself for not eating every meal here at the hot bar during our stay.

There are more cashiers than I've seen in any other Trader Joe's. Accounting for what they knew would be a high-trafficked store, the aisles are wide. Plenty of merchandise. Clean, well-stocked. Same prices I paid when I shopped at Trader Joe's in Roswell GA though -- and it may be my imagination -- the bag of frozen Gyoza Potstickers (something I always buy) seems to have shrunk. The First Avenue bus is right outside. Convenient! I would avoid rush hour and weekends when the store could get super busy. I don't want to struggle with purchases on a crowded bus. But I'll surely be back, mid-week, mid-day.

Unfortunately, the experience was heavily overshadowed by an uncomfortable situation with a security guard who followed us around the store. It was very off-putting and honestly diminished the entire visit. If I hadn't been in a rush, I would have left my items right where I stood and walked out. Security should be focused on individuals who are actually stealing, not hovering over someone carrying a tiny bag where nothing could even be hidden. Because of that experience, it's unlikely I'll return to this location. I may consider trying a different Trader Joe's someday, but this visit left a very sour impression.

We have developed a congenial friendship which was founded on La Fermière yogurts. Emre knows that I price shop so invariably I know when the time is right to buy these delicious yogurts at Eden. I often buy Siggi yogurts as here they are $1.99 each. The ladies - Dolores, Affou, Mamata, Savita, Tofu - at the checkout are friendly, kind and remember customers. A few speak French which I practice with them. Being originally Greek, the Dolmas in the prepared food section, are plump and particularly tasty. It's worth buying a few to take home. Adam looks taciturn but always is kind to me. He is behind the deli counter preparing sandwiches and always gives me a quarter pound of the Jambon de Paris. Miguel and Medina are also here. A loyalty card is worth having and once having accumulated many points I paid the princely sum of $1.61 for a pretty bouquet of roses in assorted colors that cost $11.99. Now that's a steal! Eden Gourmet is the sister supermarket to my beloved sadly closed Eden Gourmet of 14th street. This too is packed to the brim with fresh vegetables, fruits, cheeses, dairy, chicken and meats. A large variety of sparkling waters, frozen entrees, ice creams and assorted temptations are here too. A small bakery has cakes and pastries available. I pop in often to get milk or to see what's new and always to say hello to everyone. I always feel happy coming to Eden Gourmet Marketplace!
