I had been experiencing eye pain for the last 2 weeks and she wanted me to wait until she came back from her vacation to get results. I called them today around 4pm, told them my symptoms and they immediately got me within 30 mins. I went in for a routine eye exam and simply asked for my prescription at the end. I did not report any problems with my current contacts. Despite this, I was encouraged to try one-day contact lenses instead. When I asked for my prescription, I was told they needed to order trial lenses for my current brand, which meant I had to come back again just to receive what I already use. When I returned for that follow-up, even though my appointment was on time, it still took about 10 minutes for someone to take me to the back. I had already clearly stated that I was not planning on purchasing contact lenses through the office so there wouldn't be any pressure, yet they still attempted to place an order at the end of my second appointment, and were reluctant to release my prescription until I firmly told them I was going to buy elsewhere. This was frustrating, especially since I'm paying for the eye exam and prescription and should not feel like it's being held back. To add to the frustration, I had a separate upcoming appointment scheduled for Monday that I canceled over the phone, yet I still received a text asking me to confirm that appointment after the fact. Overall, the experience felt pushy and disorganized compared to previous years. Because of these new tactics, I'll be switching to a different eye care office.

There are physicians who prioritize the quality of their care rather than taking on as many patients as possible in pursuit of greater profit.
