I'm so sad to have to rate it average. Dr. Perry is an amazing optometrist that gives you that tough love but shows that your eyes and vision matter to him. Usually there is no wait times. I loved coming here except for one thing. The receptionist. The older lady (possibly his wife) is so rude and she answers with such an attitude as if she's the doctor. I called about ordering new contacts and about the price and she responds with " ok? Does it matter how much it costs? Does it?!" And I was like well yes cause my insurance won't pay for it. And she proceeded to reply with "no! It doesn't matter honestly!" Other times she always lost my paper work and my patient file I would have to wait about 20 min for her to find it. Sometimes she wouldn't update files and tell me I still owed from previous times until I had to prove I didn't owe anything. Dr Perry is such a great optometrist but he needs to get a new receptionist who doesn't give so much attitude and acts professionally and loves their job. Won't be coming back here until the receptionist is replaced. read more

My husband wasn't too impressed with our last eye doctor so this year when our yearly exam time came around my husband did some research to find a new local doctor. We ran across Dr. Perry and between his great yelp reviews and his hilarious bio on his website, we were intrigued to give him a try. We were not disappointed. Dr. Perry was great. He took his time and made sure that our prescriptions were right. It was especially helpful for my husband who's current prescription has been giving him issues. Dr. Perry is amazing. After having a horrible experience at another well known office, Dr. Perry took his time and made sure my eyes were taken care of. He listened to my concerns and was very professional. I will be returning! He may not be the most chatty or updated office in the area but he will do his job very well. Great experience my first time there a few months back. Going back now for glasses. I went to high tech place prior in Corona ( In my reviews if you want to see who) and they couldnt get my contacts right in 3 trips. 1 time here and they got it right. They treat you like a customer and not like a number and take the time to do it right. I highly recommend. read more

Dr Perry was a great optometrist. However, he retired. It is now run by new owners. Just wanted to give a heads up to others. They did not inform us of this information when we scheduled our appointment and confirmed our appointment. I feel they should have been more honest about the fact that Dr. Perry is no longer there. read more

Dr Perry was very informative and very accommodated with getting a walk in . My husband got his eye scratched at work and we needed some on ASAP we called his front office and she got use in right away. His price was also good for no insurance . He check his eye and he was good to go with an rx . He did a few test and still the same price no individual price like other eye doctors . I am still a patient of Dr. Perry's and Dr. Perry is still the best! He found a wonderful pair of contacts for me that stay hydrated for long hours at a time. My first visit to him, he discovered a huge error in my eyeglass prescription from another eye doctor (and I knew it had to be wrong because I was having dizziness and headaches) and the first day I put on the new ones he ordered... they felt great and still feel great. And he also helped me to pick out frames that fit the bridge of my nose correctly. Granted, he is not big on shooting the breeze, but he is courteous. And I found him to be extremely patient and thorough during my exam. He is also very understanding (he let me come in on a Sunday!) Dr. Perry is great. It is a no frills office without any high tech gadgets. But the exam was thorough and he took his time ensuring an accurate prescription. While he did not offer a written prescription, his selection of glasses was ok and his prices cannot be beat. I will be using Dr. Perry for many years to come. read more

I have been a client of Dr. Perry's for almost 10 years and even though I have moved to Orange County I still make the trek down to Norco for my optometry appointments. Dr. Perry truly seems to love what he does. He is patient during exams when you're having a difficult time choosing between lenses and is helpful and never pushy when deciding frames. read more

Me. Perry is great at what he does. He really takes his time to make sure your eyesight is 20/20. If you need glasses like I do, he makes sure your comfortable getting the right Eyeware. Dr Perry was very accommodating. He saw me and my wife on short notice. He doesn't have a large selection of glasses but he did a very thorough exam and found an error in my wife's current prescription. I would definitely recommend him. read more

Just took my kids, 17 and 14, to have their eye exams. Dr. Perry was thorough and very kind. Love the laid back vibe of his office. He was not pushy AT ALL. He told me that a low prescription may help but was not required. We ended up getting both kids glasses (mostly because they wanted, not needed, them). All we will end up paying is the exam copay. His prices are incredibly reasonable. I was prepared to pay and was told I can just pay when the glasses come in. We will definitely return for future appointments and highly recommend Dr. Perry. read more
