I was highly impressed that when I asked about additional work, that David indicated my request was beyond the scope of the work his company specializes in. A pleasant surprise in a world where companies promise anything irrespective of their ability to deliver! For me, it was evidence of David's honesty and integrity. Our project proceeded within the timeframe that was promised. David's crew were polite and worked in a manner that would be least disruptive to those in house. After completing the job, the crew power washed the walkway and the driveway before they departed -on their own accord. Photos of the restored roof were sent to me and the work looks FANTASTIC! RoofTek & Waterproofing Systems was recommended to me by my next-door neighbor who had them do his roof. My neighbor told me that about a year after his roof was done, he thought there might be a new leak and RoofTek was at his house within hours. We had an old water stain we recently found on a closet ceiling as well as an old water stain on our kitchen ceiling that we wanted to get checked for a roof leak. Jesse came out to take a look for us - he was kind, honest, professional and knowledgeable! He reassured us that the old water stain from the closet was not likely to be from a roof leak and suggested potential causes for the stain on the kitchen ceiling (stucco or chimney)- all part of the free estimate. He took pictures and told us to call him if we noticed any new water stains so he could better pinpoint the problem and he would come take care of us. Solid company! As mentioned, I am the type to obtain multiple quotes, so I expected that after he did the inspection, we would go over his findings and a few days later I would receive a quote. After he did the inspection, he showed me a video of something the other roofers didn't, which was nice as I like a thorough job, but then said he would be in touch with a quote. I received a phone call a few days later asking to discuss findings, but when I called back, I got an AI bot which was then followed up by a call back from a real person. Oddly enough, when they called, they literally said nothing. They asked if it was a good time to talk and I said yes but they wanted to talk when "my husband was around." Even though I said it was a good time, they said they would call back. I followed up via Yelp message. It has been over a week and I have yet to receive any quote from them. I was particularly impressed with the project manager, John Gonzales. He was onsite, communicative about the process and provided updates along the way. More importantly, he was punctual and kept his timeline promises. For the first inspection, he arrived 30 minutes before the window of when the inspector was scheduled to arrive and waited in his car until the inspector came. The crew was very thorough and careful to ensure everything looked clean and sealed tight at every critical spot. They even resurfaced the rooftop AC return to ensure it was not only sealed properly, but to make it look nicer than it did previously. There were no surprise charges or questionable change orders. They spent a good amount of time on the clean up as well, going as far as to thoroughly clean the rain gutters and running magnets over the grounds to catch any loose nails. I had 3 separate bids for this project and Rescue Roofer came in as the most competitive with premium materials (they will give you options to suit your preferences and needs). This company kept changing names, but is the name they're using now I had them out five times…read moretrying to fix a leak in my roof with no success three years of having them come out over and over before I finally gave up and quit calling them probably should've sued them to get the money back for the job they did they replaced a quarter of my roof which is flat. They used too thin of plywood and I had a big sag that had a constant pool every time it rained and it continue to leak. They also installed the worst drains ever I kept trying to have Darin come back, but he kept sending his son and even his son would not go up on the roof. They kept getting some guys who seemed like they didn't know what they were doing after the fifth time of them coming out the roof actually started leaking in places. It had never leaked before. Leaving me wondering if there was actual sabotage to the rest of the roof they had not touched. Whatever you do don't hire these guys. It's a clown show.
