Before ordering the $15 country fried steak, I asked whether it was frozen or hand-breaded in-house. She told me, to my face, that it was hand-breaded in-house. It was a frozen patty with terrible gravy. My son's steak was burnt underneath, with a bitter taste like a dirty grill. My four-year-old's buttered noodles arrived with three cups of melted butter on the side. I set my barely touched plate where she could see it. She said nothing, only offered a refill. She never asked about the food, disappeared for 15 to 20 minutes, then dropped the check while I was in the restroom with my daughter. The bread and potato soup were good. That doesn't make up for being misled about the food and ignored when it was obvious something was wrong. I left a 10% tip and $60 poorer. Lesson learned.
