Five stars, no hesitation. Mornin' Bite in Carabelle is exactly what you want a small coastal-town breakfast spot to be -- friendly, unhurried, and cooking food that actually tastes like somebody cared about it. The Hook Line & Sinker hit the spot: eggs over easy done right, good crisp bacon, and country potatoes with real color on them. The French Toast was the other standout -- made on thick-cut Italian baguette, so you get a genuine crust and a custardy center instead of the limp sandwich bread a lot of places try to pass off. And the Pineapple Mimosa was bright and cold and made a Saturday morning feel like a small vacation. Service was warm, the pace was easy, and we left happy. Amazing place now open for dinner! Such a treasure in Carrabelle. Tried the steak and shrimp dinner and it was incredible. My sisters visiting from Seattle and Atlanta and daughter all ordered different things so we could try four different menu options and all were equally wonderful. My daughter and I live nearby so will be back on a regular basis. Lovely decor and great cocktails. Service friendly and helpful. So happy to have this lovely eatery in our small town. read more
