We had breakfast and coffee here a couple times while in Apalach . The food was great. Breakfast burrito we actually split the second day. It's a small place and we had a challenge finding it ... but the place is fine, the food is great , the people are nice. Thought it was a tad expensive for what it was... but happy to support a local small business.... Will def be back read more

What a mess. They messed up the order tried to double charge me claiming I did not order something. I did the math in my head and proved they had. Then when I went to get a water said the previous amount charged did not have part of our breakfast on it. Proceeded to charge me for the bagel and the water. The food was good but how disorganized can you get. Tried to argue it with me unless you want to pay for stuff twice maybe consider going somewhere else. read more

Super cool coffee shop with some f Great food in downtown Appalachicola. It's a little hard to find. It's right on the street across from the water/shrimp processing plant. Staff were very nice. There were several places to sit with some cold AC! Coffee was great. We also tried a Venezuelan arepa with beef. It was hot and of good size. The beef was very tender Overalls great place! read more

Amazingly delicious food! Great service! Farmer's Breakfast was incredible and the pork sand w mojo was fabulous!

Excellent oysters and shrimp. Service is. Very good. Eclectic furnishings. Very fair prices.

Cafe con Leche is a quirky must-visit while in Apalachicola. They serve the best arepas I've ever eaten. These light, crisp flatbreads made from ground maize are freshly prepared. I love the vegetarian made with freshly sauted Julienned zucchini, yellow squash and tomatoes with a lovely cilantro sauce. They offer locally produced pastries and a hibiscus iced cooler that must be imported directly from heaven. It's a family run establishment and, yes, it's not corporate-crisp service. But If you want a really delicious unique breakfast or lunch be Sure to stop in. read more

The people were amazing and friendly, so attentive. I had a great mocha with the best shredded beef arepa ever. It's placed close to the coast for a nice view and you can feel the breeze on the patio. Great spot read more

Nice breakfast spot near the bay. Spacious interior for seating. The front patio was a fun place to hang out, but unfortunately it's right across from the shrimp plant so when the machines get running, it's loud. Friendly staff. We got a delicious breakfast burrito (the cilantro sauce was amazing) but it was quite pricey for the small size. We also tried a smoothie which was good, but slightly syrupy. read more

Great breakfast spot with a beautiful view of the bay and docks if you sit outside. The food is really good and so are the pastries. I had the guava and cheese and the coffee was great too. Super friendly staff and whole place is dog friends !! read more

So good. Had been a minute since we had been here; hit the spot just as we had remembered. The smoothie was solid with a taste of berry blend. The cafe con leche was excellent. The croissant and breakfast burrito were excellent and a good portion size. The cookie was an impulse buy as it looked so good when ordering. It was not a disappointment and will be dreamt about the rest of the day. read more

This is a good spot in Apalachicola. They have several Latin American dishes, including tacos, arepas, burritos, etc. the pastries were nice and enjoyable (I love guava!). Staff were super friendly and I enjoyed the pork a lot! I get that they're catering to the surroundings but I would love to see a more specific focus with some of the dishes (like more arepas) instead of having options that seem to want to please everybody. read more

The freshness of the food was wonderful. The coffee was freshly done and what a kick. Sit outside and enjoy the weather. read more

Omggggg I am a meat lover but I absolutely loved the veggie quiche! I never order non-meat breakfasts, I like my protein, but I saw a picture of this quiche and had to try it. I was not disappointed. The coffee is always great here, cold or hot, it isn't my first time here so I've tried both. Very impressed. Plus they are one of the few places open as early as they were, they were pretty packed too. A solid choice for breakfast and probably lunch, or even just a quick coffee. read more

I love this establishment!!! Good service, coffee and arepas! I always visit when I'm in this area. read more

Food is good but the place is very disorganized. When I sat down and looked at my receipt, they charged me for a burrito I didn't order. And then when the food was brought out, they kept trying to give us someone else's order -- it happened three times. They need to get their act together. read more

Value. An English muffin with egg and ham for $9?? Get real. I stayed at the Gibson Inn and will eat their breakfast on future visits. This was not my first visit to Cafe Con Leche (always for breakfast) but at that price, it'll be my last. Nothing special about the food on any prior visit. read more

Good coffee, pastries were gone when I arrived. Good lunch menu, more than I expected. Great location near River with a sitting porch

Cozy, funky cafe with outdoor seating overlooking the water. Breakfast classics with a Venezuelan flair. The veggie quiche was delicious. Unique and flavorful pulled pork sandwich. A great spot for brunch, lunch or for a special coffee drink read more

DELICIOUS! You get a lot of food for your money. The first day I tried their iced latte, very tasty. And I got the Arepa Carne Mechada. So filling and flavorful! I couldn't believe how tender the meat was . Second day I tried their coffee and it tasted fresh. I got the Pulled Pork Sandwhich. The bread was crispy but not tough. The pork was tender and packed with flavor. I LOVE this place. I wish I had this place in my town. I highly recommend! read more

Very overpriced. $12.80 for a small coffee and bacon egg cheese McMuffin. See photo for details. I understand inflation but this is outrageous. For them to use a Cuban name for their business, they should at least have Cuban bread. No bread actually, just English muffins. read more

Stopped in this morning for pastries and coffee in the car. We are tourists and this place is decidedly not a touristy place. It seems local, affordable, and good. We had banana bread, a blueberry muffin, coffee cake, and 2 other items. Everything was tasty and the coffee was great. Good Yelp find ! read more

Today I went back to Cafe con Leche, I have been there 2 other times... the owner was there and the food was good....NOT TODAY...we ordered huevos rancheros.... the sauce was can sauce.. the tortillas not warmed right.... the coffee nothing like the few other times.....we drove from Tallahassee just to go eat there....unfortunately the food wasn't good or the coffee....it was 3cof us and we all agreed. I hope the owner takes time to teach the employees to cook the way she does. read more

Excellent food. Off the charts good. We had breakfast and also to go lunch wraps. All very good.

If only there was one of these cafes in every town they would put Starbucks and Dunkin donuts out of business. The breakfast, lunches and baked goods are fresh and are made on location. My chai came out first and wowed me: creamy with a nice touch of cinnamon. Next was my ham, egg and cheese croissant with a spread. Last was the tart that I could only take a bite of since I was stuffed. The locals truly are lucky to have a place like this in town. My total bill was $13 and with the free wifi I was able to hang around a bit. There are other eclectic goodies for sale from hats to artwork. I found a piece of art that I couldn't stop staring at, that is until I looked at the price tag. I think I'll skip on buying that special treat! read more

We had breakfast this morning and it was delicious. The coffee was perfect and we all left satisfied with our meals. I had the Veggie Quiche and my hubby had the breakfast burrito which was the best one he'd ever had! We definitely give this Internet cafe the rating of 5 Stars! read more

We were here a year ago and nothing has changed except that I had the arepas for myself for the first time. My wife once again had the egg, bacon, and cheese arepa, while I had the veggie arepa with black beans and more. As a Southerner raised on cornbread, it amazed me how different and how special an arepa really was. It's really very special, and the good folks at Cafe Con Leche know how to do it right. We had lattes and espressos on 3 separate occasions while we were staying on SGI, and we both agreed that their coffees are better than any we get anywhere. Great vibe. Inexpensive. staff is eager to please. read more

If you're ever in Apalachicola around breakfast time, don't miss out on Cafe Con Leche!! I've been saying I was going to stop in for the last couple months. Now I'm bummed I didn't do it sooner!! They have a regular menu as well as a daily special menu on the side wall by the register. Of course I ordered the namesake as well as a breakfast burrito. They make it to order so expect to wait a few minutes, but it is so worth it! You can find several local artisans work as well. The service and food was great! I would show you a picture of the burrito but it's gone now They made the appropriate changes in order to provide for social distancing as well as mask requirements. You can eat inside, outside or take it to go .. whichever makes you more comfortable. Just don't miss out on this place! Monday thru Saturday 8a - 2p read more

Amazing cafe. Fantastic food, great coffee, incredible atmosphere, fast service. I wish I lived here to come more often!

Really great place for a good cup of coffee and breakfast. Such a cute place with a great location. If you are looking for something different than your typical breakfast, you should come here! The only reason I docked one star is because the price is a little steep. But that's just my opinion. Still very good food, i just wouldn't have it every morning due to the price. read more
