My husband and I had been on the water for twenty hours and were tired and hungry! The service was fast, the food was good and decor was old school like it should be in a diner. This place is a perfect example of opening a spot where you know you'll be guaranteed customers just because nothing else is even around for miles. Ordered a Ruben sandwich and I've definitely had better. The coffee was really good though. But the overall vibe in their is very this is 'our' place and if you're visiting who cares feel. Between being stared down by hateful old folks and battling the feeling of wanting to run out screaming- I will most likely never go back. Even if I visit Carrabelle again I'll go elsewhere. The Carabelle Junction is truly a great place, one of those places you are so happy you stumble across. While it looks like a lot of places that you pass in your travels (maybe a bit more colorful), rather nondescript and easy to drive past without a second glance, if you were to do so, that would truly be your loss. It would be your loss because friendly service and good food await inside. As for the ambiance, I guess they are shooting for a beach type vibe, though done a bit on the cheap. I my no means mean this in a negative way, diners are usually set in a humble environment and I think that is how it works best for them. The service here is friendly and good and the food here is good. I will say that the menu is a bit basic and some of the sandwiches would have that old lady in those retro Wendy's commercials screaming "where's the beef" (if you are too young to know this reference, go to YouTube and/or google it it, classic commercial). But, all in all, Carrabelle Junction serves the community of Carrabelle, Florida quite well. Ultimately, I will give it my recommendation and will go with four stars. If you find yourself in the community of Carrabelle, Florida and are in need of a meal, stop by and give this place a shot. Nothing fancy nor anything complex, but you will find friendly service served with a smile and the food is good. read more

Came in with friends from the area for lunch yesterday. Very cute and unusual decor with many Coke antique items and fun antique toys. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. I had the special which was a French Dip and it was perfect. The chocolate chip mint milkshake was also delicious. They included banana pudding with the special which was a nice surprise. I had fresh squeezed orange juice (yum!) and the everything bagel special hich was toasted, open faced with bacon slices, tomato slices, sprouts, cream cheese...). Hubby had ham & cheese croissant. This is a typical small town icecream and sandwich shop. My family and I came in for an ice cream cone right before closing time and they were quite generous with their scoop size. I got a cone with moose tracks and it was only 2.50$. Very good icecream and a neat atmosphere, definitely recommend stopping by if you are in the area. read more

I stopped here on our Forgotten Coast Roadtrip because my parents recommended this place to me when they came to visit. They're from Germany, so they're kind of spoiled but they told me I HAVE to visit this cute little Cafe! So I did - and I'm glad I for once listened to my parents.
