Awful food and service!!…read more I would absolutely recommend that anyone looking forward to good Mexican food and good service should NOT come to this restaurant. It is hard to mess up Mexican food in my opinion and they did a great job at doing just that. They weren't even busy yet the service was atrocious.. Brought out the wrong food.. Didn't seem to care.. And the food was unedible.. The service honestly could not have been worse. Please do not come to this restaurant if you want to enjoy a family meal You have been warned. Shame on east point el jalisco. Will NEVER COME BACK

While staying near Apalach I had driven by this colorful restaurant several times noticing all the…read morehispanic workers there and filed it away as a place to check out. We are glad we did. It's a small place with equal amounts of take out and sit down traffic. The theme is nice mexican/central american, with a dozen or so tables and a small grocery catering to the hispanic community. The carne asada I had was full of flavor and came with homemade tortillas (be sure to take a dozen with you for fish tacos), my wife had the carnitas in green chile, which was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Nice homemade chips and salsa made for a great meal. The only thing missing was a cold cervaza, which they don't have a license to serve. We came back several times and were not disappointed.

What an absolute gem of a place to find for a weary traveler. Decided to drive down to Alligator…read morePoint as I made my way down from Tallahassee and eventually over to Panama City. Wanted to see the beach here at Alligator Point and was ending my drive when I came this hidden oasis. At first I thought it was a little hut for local home owners, but then realized it was open to the public. Plopped a seat and had the best time for a couple hours. The Tiki Hut is spacious and wide open with both views of the water. Had the local Oyster City Brew and talked to the bartender that I unfortunately forgot his name, yet have his business card where he started the Alligator Point Gift Shop. Everyone was nice and pleasant and really made my trip. Stoked to eventually come back here again one day. Thanks for being so friendly and welcoming!

Everything is always flavorful and fresh and the margaritas are always good, not watery like they are down the street. While this is based around a food truck, they do offer outside seating and there is a cover over it. The menu is pretty similar, but the menu here also offers pupusas and I believe it is a bit cheaper. The girl working here was friendly. I went with two tacos (one asada and one chorizo) and two pupusaa (I had the pork and cheese). The food did take a bit, i am assuming it was the pupusas. When my food came, I found it good.I will say that i think i prefer the Tallahassee location (though it could be just an off night or my imagination). It was still good. I would definitely recommend here.

Very attentive staff and accommodating when asked for the "house made" hot salsa, which was great!!! The vegetable quesadilla was good and flavorful but the spinach enchiladas, I'm pretty sure they were just spinach wrapped in a tortilla with no cheese or other flavoring inside so those were sort of boring.
