Even though we wanted something more higher end the food was great! I definitely would recommend if you are looking for a fast food place with many options.

Henderson's restaurant is located on Smith Avenue in Thomasville, Georgia. It is not far from the…read moredowntown shopping area. Parking is plentiful and the restaurant has a homestyle feel that makes you feel it's been there for decades. The menu is large, but not so large that it takes more than a single sheet of paper. Henderson's offers breakfast, as well as lunch and dinner. They're open from 6 am - 7:30 pm, and are closed on Sunday, as is most of Thomasville. The breakfast offerings include sandwiches, breakfast in a cup and plated meals. The prices range from $3 - 7, with a few higher priced offerings that include steak. Lunch and dinner options include burgers, sandwiches, salads, soups, chicken tenders, quesadillas and wings. Most options range between $5 - 8, with a few options up to $16. Henderson's is very budget friendly. Service is pleasant and swift. The dining area is fairly a no-frills interior including long tables, stackable type padded chairs and pastel-colored beadboard walls decorated with some large Grateful Dead framed posters. We ordered a burger and a Philly style Cheesesteak. You order at the counter and they call you when your meal is ready to be picked up. Both were served with crinkle cut fries. The food was fast and filling. I preferred the Philly style Cheesesteak, which was juicy and deliicous! The burger bun was a little dried out. The fries were crispy and hot. If you want a budget meal, you cannot beat Henderson's! Next time, we plan to try a couple breakfast options.

(Five for hers, three for mine). We called ahead and had our meals prepared for takeout service. When we arrived, we had a little trouble communicating with the staff at first and by the time we got our food, paid for it, and walked the two blocks back to where we were staying, my meal was lukewarm at best. Since it was relatively cold out, I'd give them the benefit of a doubt that our meals started out hot enough, but between the delay in getting them from the kitchen and the walk outside and the fact that my Chili was packaged in a plastic container, it was pretty cold by the time we ate. My wife's chicken and vegetables was much warmer and tastier too.

I had a great first time experience at this establishment a few weeks ago on a Wednesday afternoon…read more It was not that crowded and people were allowed to seat themselves. There were about three women working the restaurant at the time. It was dimly lit and had a down home field to the establishment. I got the manga special and it was very tasty the green beans were great, and the hush puppies were good as well. For the price I was pleased. The staff was very patient and kind. I was in a rush so I ordered my meal to go and it took about 15 minutes to come out. I wouldn't hesitate to return.

Rock Bottom in Thomasville -- Unfortunately, the Name Says It All…read more My mother was craving crab legs, so we decided to give Rock Bottom in Thomasville a try. Unfortunately, our experience was truly rock bottom. The one positive thing I can say is that our waitress was extremely friendly and pleasant. She was the highlight of an otherwise disappointing experience. From the moment we walked through the front door, the disorganization was obvious. Several people were waiting to be seated, while another customer was standing at the hostess stand placing a to-go order. Rather than directing him to the appropriate area, the situation held up the line even further. As first-time visitors, we were immediately left wondering how this place was being managed. The staff's appearance and professionalism were also concerning. Employees were wearing random, mismatched shirts, had unkempt hairstyles, and were standing around the drink station on their cell phones. It did not create the impression of a well-managed restaurant that takes pride in its operation. Unfortunately, the food was just as disappointing. My mother ordered crab legs, but she has certainly had much better elsewhere. I ordered the catfish, which had a strong muddy taste, and the tartar sauce tasted more like plain mayonnaise. Others in our party ordered popcorn shrimp and a hamburger, and those meals were disappointing as well. To make matters worse, the portions were served on what looked like children's plates, and the beans came in a small Styrofoam takeout container. The overall presentation did nothing to improve the experience. We went in hoping to enjoy a good meal together, especially since my mother was looking forward to her crab legs. Instead, we left disappointed with nearly every aspect of our visit. Unfortunately, I would not recommend Rock Bottom in Thomasville. Aside from our friendly waitress, the organization, professionalism, food quality, and presentation all fell far below our expectations. We won't be returning

We visited early on a Saturday when they first opened. The music was blasting and we had to ask…read morethem to turn it down. This is an upscale looking restaurant so it is great for a date night. The chips were thick and not served warm. Their salsa was very mild and not too flavorful. I ordered and enchilada plate that came with rice and beans and a choice of red or green sauce. The beans were more liquid like a smooth process for a dip. The enchiladas came with a lot of meat and were OK. My dining companion ordered the El Presidente burrito stuffed with beef, rice, guacamole, and sour cream. All of the guacamole was at one end of the burrito. For my foodie friends, this food is very Americanized - not Tex Mex and definitely not Mexican. (For the real Mexican flavors go to Taco 'N Madre.) However, for the ambience and view with very mild food with pretty good service, this could be your place. Restrooms and establishment were very clean!
