Stopped in for a coffee. Staff was friendly. I ordered an iced coffee w sugar free white chocolate and oat milk. It was $10.69 very expensive for 16oz. When I asked about it she stated it was the "oat milk"......coffee was nothing fancy. They serve food. Restroom was clean. The price was just too high for what I received. read more

I recently popped into Caribbean Coffee for a coffee and breakfast pastry. I got a regular drip coffee & scone, my daughter had a small hot chocolate & muffin. The coffee and hot chocolate were both delicious; however the pastries were cold as ice and tasted like your standard grocery pastries. Not to mention I thought it was little too pricey, at over $20! Service was great. The two baristas working were super friendly and were doing a good job serving us and the other patrons in the business. read more

The ambience and vibe is amazing. It feels like the perfect beachside coffee shop. But the coffee quality is just alright. I got a flat white, and it came out just warm and very weak. My dad got a regular black coffee and it did not taste like a good black coffee should. The service is not bad, but not great. They took far longer than it should to make a few cups of coffee. We decided to grab some coffee here this morning and picked up two 16oz coffee of the day "Caribbean Coffee Nicaragua by Cafe Campesino". The employees were all nice and said hello as I entered. I was a little surprised that two 16 oz coffees were around $9.50 but there did not seem to be any prices anywhere to compare. We visited on a Sunday morning on our way out of town. We ordered two frappes and a couple of pastries. The service was excellent. The two young ladies working were friendly and efficient in their work and our drinks and pastries were as expected. I didn't give 5 stars simply because I feel the prices were a little higher than average. read more

My husband ran in for a quick breakfast to go. We got the quiche and a sausage egg muffin. The quiche was delicious but the portion size was pitiful. The breakfast sandwich definitely was not made in house - seems like a frozen Jimmy Dean sausage sandwich. The apple fritter was yummy as were the other pastries we purchased. Pretty good! We went here all 3 mornings we were in Mexico Beach. On our first visit, we made the mistake of ordering the Bacon Egg and Cheese Biscuits, which are $6 but are just microwaved Jimmy Dean's biscuits and are not good. The White Chocolate frapp was amazing, though. So were the Pineapple and Berry Smoothies, the Berry being the better of the two. The Grilled Cheese with bacon was made fresh, though, and is a great thing to order. Prices are high but that's to be expected considering this is one of the only coffee shops in Mexico Beach. Employees are very kind! The line can get very long in the mornings so go early! read more

I wanted to give this a four star rating based on the atmosphere but I can't because the coffee just isn't good. Everyone was friendly and a pleasure to talk with but they just don't know how to make espresso. I'm not too sure they even use espresso roast for their drinks. The pulls were weak and tasted like a medium roast. They banged out the old coffee from the portafilter that has been in there since who knows how long and never wiped it out. So my shot was a mix of fresh grind and old used grind. The milk temp was not monitored when frothing and tasted like they went way over temp. read more

We visited Caribbean Coffee almost every morning during our trip to Mexico Beach. Such a nice coffee shop with great drinks and food. We bought cinnamon rolls every time we went. They are delicious! The owner is friendly and extremely good at making drinks. The shop is usually busy but he is very calm and has a the process for every drink down to a science. We loved it!! read more

We had a variety. Some was very good, some only okay. Most disappointing thing was when I asked for an extra cup to share a smoothie between our kids their only solution was to charge me for another smoothie (to give me an empty cup). I would have understood paying something minimal for the cup, but not to pay for a smoothie. Cuban sandwich pretty good. I expected more of the grilled cheese after reading some good reviews. I usually like to try the chai latte but I didn't because I had gone on a run of bad ones elsewhere. I just had an English breakfast latte and it was good. But the second day I had a chai latte and really enjoyed it. I bought a 20 oz to share with my daughter but drank it all myself. Dave, the owner was very friendly and suggested places for us to go which was very helpful because we had dogs and he told me about the dog beach.
