I was shocked when he said that would be $12.01 for a cup of yogurt, but like I said I was in the mood so I acquiesced. Once I got home and had two bites much to my surprise the entire middle core was yogurtless and you could see the bottom of a clean cup. Whether they were trained to fill it like this or it was inadvertent- either way is unacceptable. Ordinarily I wouldn't leave a Yelp review over this, but with the entire middle part of my yogurt missing and for $12 it was a rip off.

Great options for vegetarians and carnivores alike! The Acai bowls are yummy (some of the better ones in Marin) but I personally love their Bay Bowl (pictured here) because it's the perfect balance of sweet and savory. I order it almost once a week. I was also hooked on their smoothies while I was pregnant! The staff is super friendly and the food is ready quickly. They also offer curbside pickup through the app!! It's a great spot to hang outside when the weather is nice. We bring many friends and visitors here, and they are always impressed. Truly something for everyone on the menu. They offer local deals a few times a month through their newsletter or text!

I walked in there a broken man, but he has helped me overcome some serious back issues that I've lived with since my teens. It's hard to consider him just a chiropractor since he's skilled in so many areas. He not only gives excellent advice on the proper exercises and therapy for my particular condition, but I now know all about the supplements and diet that will help me the most. Before adjusting me, Ken practices something called Active Release Techniques, which is hard to describe, but easy to say that it must be the reason for his success. It makes the adjustment go so much easier, and it definitely helps to keep me aligned for a much longer period of time afterward. I used to need treatments every week, but now I'm on a once a month maintenance plan. Thanks for keeping me tuned up and pain free doc!

Last summer I bought a top there from the company Velvet and asked to order another. The salesperson said I would hear back, and I never did. I ended up buying it online for $30 less. Recently I went to the store to buy a belt. The salesperson directed me to the cubbies around the store but wouldn't answer questions about available sizes. All she told me was the brand. Again, I went online to buy the belt at a lower price than I would have paid at the store. I will return to the store to browse for brands but will buy elsewhere until the customer service is comparable to the quality of the merchandise.

The vibrant spring colors at Bella drew me in. It was almost closing time, but the lovely sales associates let me browse and try on a few items. The store is beautifully arranged with contemporary women's clothing, bags, jewelry, and accessories, as well as some home/gift items like pillows, candles, and more. The clothes are grouped in color families, which really makes for such a pleasant shopping experience. I tried on a handful of items and found a summer sweater to take home. I'll definitely stop in again when next in the area. And, they have locations in San Anselmo, Greenbrae, and Mill Valley.

It might help others from the city who want to try out this gym in Marin to not waste their money and have a bad time when there are so many better climbing gyms in San Francisco. When we came in we were greeted by a man who's name I believe was Bill and despite us detailing our climbing experience and showing our belay certification cards from touchstone and movement, two well-known climbing gym companies in the Bay Area, he was condescending to us and mansplained the entire time and turned what should be a simple belay test into a 45 minute lecture nitpicking every single thing we did. Some of the things he stated were "facts" and to "check the official website" seemed outdated and not common in the climbing community. For example: - When he asked what a climber would say to the belayer when they want the rope tighter, I said most people say "less slack, tighter, or take" but he was adamant in saying it's not right to use those terms and use "up rope" instead which I have not commonly heard people say when climbing at all the other gyms - At one of the harness safety checks he did not tolerate me just saying "make sure all the buckles are double-backed" and said I must point to each buckle and explain exactly what double-backed means (as in explain how the fabric must go under and over the buckles) each time I do my safety checks - Furthermore, he had a problem with the way that I, a short 5'3 woman, bent down a little bit when moving my guide hand under my brake hand and said that I must stand up completely straight when belaying which is not true. Plenty of instructors that you can google youtube videos on teaching belay also do this and later on I even saw the other employees do the exact same slight bend down when belaying climbers in their class - As well, he argued with us that we should not be holding the rope with both hands under the device in brake position and to only hold it with the brake hand. Not only was he incorrect about this, other gyms like touchstone and movement would fail you on the belay certification if you did not make sure to use both hands under the device for falling / brake position with the PBUS system for extra safety - He was patronizing to us when he questioned if we knew how to use a grigri, and I showed him that I have my own grigri device (in addition to the fact that I brought all of my own equipment and did not use any of their rentals), but he still mansplained how to use the grigri to us and chastised that I wasn't doing it correctly because I used my left thumb to pull back the handle instead of my index and middle fingers. Like I mentioned he had turned a simple test into a 45 minute back and forth and I could make an even more extensive list which would continue to go on but overall he made the entire experience at Gravity Vault unwelcoming and unbearably patronizing. I hope that this thorough account of how he treated us helps someone else out there who is considering this gym. The only good feature about this climbing gym is that there are auto-belay options available which doesn't exist at Touchstone Mission Cliffs, Movement Presidio, and other San Francisco climbing gym locations.

The terrains is varied between interesting woodland and open hillsides. It's all about the journey with no sweep vistas but a nice variety of wildflowers, mushrooms and a small waterfall (seasonal.) There's a large lot at the college in Novato, with an $8 parking fee. From the lot, you walk behind the ball fields and will get to the trail entrance..There's a park map and well signed trail. I opted to go left on Paheco Pond trail which eventually connects to the waterfall trail.. That wound up some gentle switchbacks through quiet woodland. The waterfall itself wasn't much to see after a dry January but the forest was still a pretty hike. From there, I took the Susan Alexander and Wixel trail down to the Indian Valley Fire road to complete the look. While there's a few short steep climbs, most of the loop was pretty mild and I really enjoyed exploring here. Seems like a great local park and if I lived nearby, I'd be a regular. Beautiful park.
