Having never navigated the car-buying process alone--without my dad or husband's guidance--I visited and contacted numerous dealerships. From the very first interaction, it was clear this one stood head and shoulders above the rest. Their professionalism, warmth, and genuine commitment to customer happiness made what could have been stressful feel seamless and joyful. Hugh in sales deserves every bit of praise I can offer. He was extraordinarily patient as I walked him through my vision for this surprise gift, answering every question with clarity and never once making me feel like a novice. What truly set him apart was how far he went to ensure the moment would be perfect. He personally drove the truck to a friend's house and arrived with a huge red bow tied on the hood--turning a simple delivery into something magical. His thoughtfulness and "above-and-beyond" spirit made the entire surprise a resounding success, and I will never forget that kindness. Mike, the manager, brought the same level of positive energy and efficiency. Friendly and solution-oriented, he quickly coordinated all the custom upgrades I wanted, making sure every detail aligned with my husband's tastes and our family's needs. In finance, Josh was equally impressive. He explained every option with honesty and patience, never rushing me and always prioritizing what we truly needed rather than what might look best on paper. His knowledge and straightforward approach gave me complete confidence in my decisions. This dealership isn't just about selling vehicles--it's about creating meaningful experiences and building trust. In a world where car buying can often feel transactional, their team made it personal, caring, and even fun. I left feeling genuinely cared for, and my husband's reaction when he saw his truck made every moment worth it. If you're looking for a truck (or any vehicle) and want to work with people who truly listen and go the extra mile, I cannot recommend this dealership highly enough. Five stars, without hesitation. Thank you, Hugh, Mike, Josh, and the entire team--you've earned a customer for life!

Not only did they get me approved, they secured an APR nearly 10% lower than what I was offered from CarMax and Carvana. Joel (Sales) was incredible throughout the entire process. He even checked in on my deal on his day off and stayed involved the whole time to make sure everything went smoothly. What stood out the most was that he genuinely cared that I was comfortable with the financing -- not just that the deal got approved. He even helped arrange transportation so I could get from San Jose to pick up the vehicle 2.5 hours away. That level of effort is rare, especially on a used vehicle deal. Gino (Finance) also did an outstanding job. He secured the lowest rate I've been offered in years and even discounted a warranty so I could have coverage without stretching my budget. The entire finance process was transparent, honest, and completely pressure-free. The service department also delivered. The vehicle was fully taken care of and everything was handled professionally. After being dismissed by other dealerships, this team made me feel valued as a customer from start to finish. I drove over two hours to work with them, and it was absolutely worth it. Now I'm the proud owner of a great Chevrolet Tahoe that my family really needed. Huge thanks to Joel, Gino, and the entire team. Experiences like this are why great dealerships stand out. By the Way ! After re reading all the posts about them hiding add ons ....or being shady I call nonsense to that..... it's BS ! They are extremely upfront humble and honest ! They offer add ons like they do gap or extended warranty . They offered to me , nothing was 'forced' 'hidden' . Unreal how some people react to people just trying to do their job . A simple no , not interested was all I said ...not one follow up on the topic ...how is that pressure??? Or hidden ??? It's an offer !

Miguel assured me it was there. Based on that confirmation, I rented a car and drove 50 minutes to the dealership. When I arrived, I waited about 20 minutes while Miguel searched for the vehicle. He then returned with someone who appeared to be a manager to inform me that the car was not on the lot and wouldn't arrive until Thursday. This is exactly the scenario I called ahead to avoid. What followed was even more frustrating. Rather than acknowledging the mistake and genuinely apologizing, Miguel's partner pivoted into a sales pitch about what a great "deal" the car was, as if I needed convincing. I was already there. He also mentioned he'd received five other calls about the vehicle, which raises an obvious question: if there's that much interest, how did he not know the car hadn't arrived yet? I lost a full afternoon and the cost of a rental car because an employee either didn't bother to verify inventory before confirming availability or simply told me what I wanted to hear to get me through the door. Either way, it's unacceptable. A simple, honest phone call "the car isn't here yet, but we expect it Thursday" or actually checking when they were asked to would have saved everyone's time and preserved my trust. Instead, I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

Leo was our salesman and he was awesome to work with. We contacted him prior to making the trip, and he was knowledgeable, easygoing, and never made us feel pressured into anything we didn't want or need (we said no extended warranties or insurance, just the price right out the door). He really took the time to walk us through our options and made the whole process feel straightforward and stress-free. Which, if you've ever bought a car at a dealership, felt like a vacation. We ended up getting a great deal and left feeling confident in our purchase. Leo made sure we knew about every step that was going on within the process, any changes that came up, and was very straight up with us. If you're willing to make the drive or are in the area, I'd absolutely recommend checking them out and asking for Leo!

Thanks for wasting my afternoon. I filled out the forms on the official Toyota website using their…read moreSmartPath tool to buy a Sienna. Almost immediately I get an email and text from Chris, their Sales and Finance Manager. The subject of the email is "I Have a Sienna XLE Available". The email opens, "Great news -- I have a Toyota Sienna XLE available right now." I know Siennas are low inventory right now, did I get lucky? Did someone cancel their order? Other dealers list Siennas as "available" but when I text or email them they would reply it's been sold (but I can get on the waitlist). But here the manager is explicitly saying it's AVAILABLE. So I immediately text him and told him I can come in at 1pm. This is around 10am, so just 3 hours later. He replies, setups an appointment for 1pm. I get an official calendar invite confirming and everything. At this point, he could have done a few things, 1. Do a courtesy hold for 3 hours. There is virtually no risk, because Siennas are selling like hotcakes, so even if I flake on him, someone else will buy it. 2. Ask me for a deposit to guarantee the vehicle. I've put deposits down before. I would have, if he had asked. 3. Told me the vehicle is not guaranteed to be available when I arrive and I would have to risk coming in, because they can't hold the vehicle. Any of those would have been fine. Instead he just confidently schedules me for 1pm. I leave the house at 12:30pm. No text that the available Sienna is no longer available. So I cross the Golden Gate bridge and head towards the dealership. He greets me but says he's busy so he gives me off to someone else. At this point I knew I'd been jerked around. The guy looks at me and his expression says it all: There's no Siennas available, you crazy? Did Chris really tell you to drive all the way here? You gotta get on a waitlist. After maybe like 10 minutes the guy comes back and confirms, yea, there is no available Sienna. I just don't get what the strategy is. Did he think he could persuade me to buy some other Toyota once I was at the dealership? Did they want me to come all the way from SF so I can get put on the waitlist? Siennas are very in-demand right now, why would they need any of these silly tactics? It just makes no sense, except they don't care about wasting your time. End of the day, it's an hour wasted back and forth and $10 bridge toll. Not the end of the world. But just extremely annoying that Marin Toyota would just waste my time, for absolutely no reason.
