    I am incredibly disappointed after my experience at Marin Mazda. I had been communicating with Franco for a few days via text getting ready to make a purchase on a car. I specifically told him I wanted to see if I could qualify for that offer only. After I was told "You got approved" (in his exact words), after submitting my credit check and also negotiated a down payment. I wanted to move forward. I clearly stated when I called and spoke with Muhammad I was approved for 0% financing and wanted to make sure the car was still available before I DROVE 2 1/2 HOURS. He informed me that he would put the car on hold for me. Upon arrival, I met with Franco, who took me to see the car and to take for a test drive. After we returned we sat down to view my credit check and to see the offer. I was SHOCKED to be informed that I in fact I DID NOT qualify for the 0% and Franco showed me a paper with 4%. When I expressed my frustration he told me I could speak with the finance manager who can call to see if they can lower the rate. It was Muhammad, who I has spoke to on the phone before driving over. He asked me why I could not do 4%. I told him I was told 0%, as he proceeded to tell me THEY DON'T HAVE THAT OFFER (when in fact it is on their website!!). I told him well I was told I was approved and he said "show me conformation that we said 0%?" I asked him why is it on your website and you are advertising that when you dont offer and I was mislead by your salesman. He ignored me and told me he was going to call the loan department. He had the 4% lowered to 2.6% and as we were discussing him lowering it more, someone comes to the door and start banging on it. This man was yelling through the door "I want to speak with you!" the Muhammad yelled through the office "no." and the man proceeded to shout "I want to speak with you for just a sec!" He gets up and goes outside the office and this man starts shouting "You ripped me off! I paid $26,000 for the car and your only giving me $21,000 back!" At this point I knew I was not going to make a purchase with this dealership. They are obviously just trying to screw people, and I was going to be another person. After that outside altercation happened he returned and told me that he could offer me a buy down rate and with these specific words "I'm not going to put that money down, you are." I could not believe how I was being talked to and also treated. He was incredibly rude. I told him I do not want to proceed with any of this and walked out. Its so frustrating to waste my whole day, time, and money for gas to deal with this unprofessional dealership. This experience has made me seriously reconsider buying from Mazda. I expected better communication and professionalism, especially when a customer has gone out of their way to purchase a car. I dont know what kind of business they are running, but with the experience I had and from what I saw, it seems very shady. I will be filing a report with the Better Business Bureau because this situation is unacceptable. A client, as well as a female should never have to endure such as waste of time and effort. I wish I could give them 0 stars. I attached conversation and to show how MISLEADING they are!

    Called last Friday and spoke to Claudia. Told her i had a tire problem and needed it fixed ASAP. She didn't have the tire in stock but had it on order for Monday's delivery. Told her about having tires in road hazard plan with Mazda. She said no problem. Daniel called me Monday letting me know the tire is there. Drove to Marin and was greeted by Daniel when I walked in. Place looks new and clean. Waiting room is stocked with amenities and coffee. Bathrooms are clean and well maintained. Hung out for about an hour and Daniel came over to get me. Only paid for the labor to put tire on and tax/fees. Road hazard covered the price of the tire itself. Thank you Claudia and Daniel for making this so easy. Able to make everything happen with ease. Marin Mazda has my business.

    Went in to purchase a new Mazda CX-50. I was helped out by Justin. Justin was fantastic. Really took his time with me and the entire process. Wasn't pushy whatsoever, wasn't rushing me out, answered all questions and was overall professional. Later I was introduced to Ahmed the financial manager who was also great. Ahmed walked me through a few plans which he explained in full details and wasn't steering us to purchase but rather educate. All in all, great experience from these two guys.

    One Star - Deceptive Service Practices, Inflated Bills, and Poor Communication…read more I have been a customer at Land Rover Marin for three service visits on my 2024 Range Rover Sport, and after my most recent experience I feel obligated to warn other owners. It started when I called about three warranty issues and a routine service. I was told my car required service every 10,000 miles -- which I later confirmed with Land Rover corporate is completely false. The actual manufacturer service interval is 22,000 miles or 2 years. The 10k visits they've been selling me at over $2,000 each are fluid top-offs and a system check -- not the major service they've been charging for. This is the third time I've paid for one of these unnecessary services. That's roughly $4,000 in potentially fraudulent upselling as I am at 30k miles now. I booked six weeks out to secure a loaner. When I arrived, the loaner I received was dirty, smelly, and required two days of airing out before it was usable. My car sat untouched for two days after drop-off despite the advance booking and after 10 days in their shop still isn't done. Mid-service, I was quoted $2,100 for rear brakes over the phone and approved the work. When I arrived to pick up my car -- 10 days after drop-off -- the brake charge had climbed to $2,800, and a $125 email discount I had been told would be honored never appeared on the bill. When I confronted the service rep, he immediately reduced $600 without hesitation -- as if he already knew the number was wrong. I still ended up paying $100 more than the original quote and the $125 discount wasn't honored. When I pushed back on the service intervals with the service manager -- who was extremely difficult to reach -- his justification was that the dealership has seen five engines fail on these vehicles and he personally has had to call customers to tell them Land Rover won't honor their warranty. This is a scare tactic. Land Rover corporate confirmed to me directly that warranty compliance requires the manufacturer's intervals, not an arbitrary dealership schedule. I still need to return to address two unresolved warranty issues, but after that I will not be back. I am actively considering filing complaints with the Bureau of Automotive Repair and the Better Business Bureau. Owners of newer Range Rover models: call Land Rover corporate and verify your actual service intervals before authorizing any work here.

We spent the time talking about our lives, sharing career experiences, and discussing great approaches to living. With her background in engineering and mine in IT, we immediately found a lot of common ground. We ended our time with a genuinely fond farewell and a warm invitation to return. Behind the scenes, Jean-Pierre completely bent over backwards to make this deal happen. I was looking for a very specific car that wasn't even on their lot or listed on their website. Not only did he manage to track down the exact model I asked for, but he also secured the absolute best price for it. When it came time for the paperwork, he made sure I was in and out quickly while ensuring I had a full, transparent understanding of exactly what I was paying for. Not many people can pull all of that off so seamlessly. Acura of Marin delivers outstanding performance, and Christine and Jean-Pierre are just all-around great people. I already know exactly where I am going when it's time to buy the real car of my dreams: a brand new, fully loaded black on black Acura Integra Type S. A slovenly man who didn't remove his airpods, in front of other people in the store, heard me explain that I'm test driving Polestar, Rivian, etc. because I need to buy a car, and asked me "Sure but are you in the market for a car?" Believing him to be simple, in part due to his taste-free Hublot watch, I explained that yes, I'm in a mall in Marin test driving cars on a Saturday not for a good time, but with the specific intention of buying one. My wife saw storm clouds approaching when another person laughed and hurried out of the shop when they heard the Lucid employee try to explain to me how very expensive his cars are ("okay if I have a honda civic and a rolls royce..."). I stopped him and asked if there was some problem with me test driving a car. "This car, for example, is $125,000," he said, as if that explained it all. It took all my composure to not say "You work on commission, right? Big mistake. Huge!" (NB I later found out they do not work on commission, which makes it all the weirder that this guy appeared to judge me as unable to afford what is a relatively modestly priced car for the bay area...) Best of luck with the sales technique of patronizing potential customers, we'll go elsewhere.

After a no pressure conversation, and time to think, I decided to consign the car with Cars Dawydiak. The level of service I received was nothing short of top shelf. Every question that I had received a prompt response. Everything I needed to market this car, and give it its fair due, was handled in a timely manner. Please know that I was someone who could have been taken to the cleaners on this transaction, but Brian's efforts resulted in me getting an excellent price on the car.... and better yet, the car going to a buyer who will love it as much as my father did. I cried when the car left my father's garage after 38 years. I cried again when the car sold just two months later. I smiled when I picked up the check. I think that my dad did too. THANK YOU Brian.

I drove over checked out the car, they checked out my trade and we made a mutually beneficial deal. They gave me top dollar for my trade and even helped me secure financing for the new car. No hassles no bullcrap! And... I didn't need to spend hours in their office going back and forth feeling like I was being taken for a ride, like other dealers. This is how car buying should be. Cars Dawydiak has a great team from Mike Leddy, Michael Balboa, Brian, their tech John, and of course the awesome White Lab shop dog "Cooper" I was treated with great respect and I have to say I've made new car friends at Dawydiak! I have been a customer of theirs since 2022 and I have never been disappointed with their service. I drive a lot, so I have been there relatively frequently. They truly look out for both your car and your wallet. A few months ago, out of curiosity and convenience, I went to a dealership in Sacramento. The staff members were much less welcoming. Ultimately, they tried to charge me over three times what I ended up paying in Marin for necessary jobs, and they didn't even provide reasonable videos / pictures or offer to take me to the garage so that I could see things myself. That experience only confirmed what I have been telling people for three years: I don't plan to take my vehicle anywhere else. I CANNOT RECOMMEND JAGUAR MARIN ENOUGH! If you are able to get your car serviced here, you are extremely fortunate. You will be treated the right way, which sets them apart from just about every other business in the automotive industry. Without hesitation, I drive from Sacramento when it's time for some work to be done, whether it's just an oil change or something more complicated. I trust them entirely. They replaced the windshield, and went much further. They tracked down any place in the car that had gotten wet, and fixed any damage. Furthermore, they went out of their way to accommodate my schedule and deliver the car to me. I can't recommend them more highly. I have had experience with another dealership in the Bay area, and I'm so glad that I've switched to Jaguar of Marin.
